That's what you get when you're xenophobic and strut around like you're the best when realistically you haven't achieved a quarter of what others have. Na South African media cause am. They've made themselves think they now roll with the big dogs. Bafana have arguably been one of the more disappointing teams in this AFCON. But I love their overconfidence. Experiencing defeat when you're so sure you'll win is the best type of reality check.

It disturbs me that South Africa have an almost perfect record against Cameroon. That being said, people seem to be writing off this Cameroonian team. Bafana might be in for a rude awakening.

If Mali's attack were a bit more lethal, I could have seen them upsetting Senegal in the quarters. Unfortunately, I don't see that happening. Best case scenario, it goes to penalties again, except it may not swing in their favor this time.
