Buy complete fuel pump with housing and stop buying just the fuel pump, but original product.
The filter might be clogged too.
I guess it stops whenever the pump is too hot.

Can you recommend a good mechanic in Abuja

Good morning Gurus in the house.

A month ago my car started developing issue, it stop while I was accelerating on a high way. The battery light and everything is on but it won't just start. I had to call my mechanic and came all the way, he checked the car and said my fuel pump is bad. I gave him money to buy new fuel pump, and the car started just fine.


3 days later I was driving and the car stopped again, this time I saw a road side mechanic where the car stopped, I don't know what he did but i am sure he looked at the fuel pump area an the car started.

Yesterday I was driving and the car stopped again, after I waited for a while the car started, I called my mechanic now he is saying that we should change the filter cos he only change the fuel pump not the filter. He gauges the fuel pump pressure and is almost 60.

I don't want to be spending money while the problem keeps on persisting.

Pls I need your views thanks

Pls I have a question, my has an issue of recent I was driving then it unexpectedly stopped, luckily there was a road side mechanic and I called him for assistance. He checked the car and he said my fuel pump is bad, I have no choice but to agree with him because where I am he was my only alternative. He brought a new fuel pump and install it and the car start just fine.


Two days after he changed it this time I was in town driving the car stopped again. I called my mechanic and told him about it and he said if I can start the car and bring it to him, I told him I can't start it.

Luckily after a while, the car started, so I drove directly to his company. I don't know what he did, but he instaled his computer wire into the socket at the neck of the steering. And he said he corrected all the errors, don't know what he meant by that.

But since from that day my car work just fine.


My question is can a car be repaired the way he did?

I watch Korean series too, but u don't like the modern day Korean series.

I only had d transaction receipt and agreement letter written by the seller, stating that he transfered the ownership me.

I serviced the Car, fuel and Zoomed to Abuja. That was my greatest mistake. For my mind I thought all was well, since d papers are not expired and every other thing was intact. When I got to Ibadan, I saw Police Men at a junction, instead of me to dodge them by taking a turn close to me, I drove towards them with full confidence. Police Chop 5k from me with abeg. They claimed I don't have any Government document, that shows that the ownership is now transferred to me. They took me to their office.

I come continue my Jorney after parting with 5k. The jorney was going smoothly till I got to a Police checkpoint close to Lokoja. The Police also asked for the same thing. I had to part with another 5k. This time I asked the Police what i was meant to do. They said I need a police extract to support the change of ownership. Or I do a change of ownership at the Court. They now request that I give them 2k so they can give me Police extract at the police station close to them. I no gree give them, I just drive go. Since I was already in the North, police for North no Dey too disturb.

I based in Abuja and I bought a car that has Lagos registration, I want to do change of ownership but the VIO that is working it for me said he has to send an Email to Lagos office to check and give go ahead. It is almost 2 months already.


One mind is telling me just to ignore the change of ownership and remove the old plate number, and just do new Abuja registration.

The issue is the car has Lagos plate number and I am in Abuja, VIO here in Abj said that to do change of ownership and retain plate his data that is in lagos need to be erased that means the change of ownership is not possible here in Abuja only lagos can do it.


Or I should just forget the data that is in lagos and do Abuja plate registration.
