daveP:Mr Spy and some fans were happy to see 442, I ask, Are Ceballos and Gendozi like Viera and Gilberto? Who are big, dominant and commanding to boss the physical Brighton? Not even the physical Xhaka and small Torreira(though good) has dominated any midfield like the invincibles. Also Auba and Lava are no Henri and Bergkamp, none is good with the ball nor mobile enough to cause problems to opposition defense. SAED kola, remains one of the Wenger's left over we are struggling with. Agbaya with big body and never Arsenal standard. |
Roland17:Arterta is untouchable, let's continue to blame Emery jare. Once you see Arterta's fluidity football click, OMG,not even ghen ghen klopp press can stop us.Be patient, Arterta is slowly working things out. ![]() |
iamoyindamola:My brother, let's be patient, Arterta is slowly bringing us back to glory days, this is how klopp started. Don't forget he is turning Saka to Sterling, Nelson to Sane(you can see the hairdo ) and Willock to Guondogan.Have you forgotten Ozil and Xhaka will return and put us back on form. ![]() Bro, no be like Fkhalifa wey wan join Liverpool after getting tired of this pass me I pass you football, he is plastic fan. Dangote will come next year and the glory days will be back. ![]() |
Fluidly football Arterta ball ![]() |
kokaneprodigy:I blame Emery |
Spy360:We better score first, else Brighton will surely sit back, and Sitting back to counter this line up means our defence will be exposed. |
Roland17:He will score a good freeckick, header and give a MOTM performance when he returns and all will be forgotten by Arsenal and fans ![]() |
mostob:A sorry case of physical and mental weakness. ![]() Even Gervinho still look a proper player |
We replace deadwood with super deadwood, so the cycle continues, season after season. We had a decent defender in Gabriel, we let him go, got Socrates and now ho ho ho Luiz. We let go Debuchy and brought Lich. and now Soares. We let go Coquelan and brought Xhaka and who knows who we will hire next. Let go Wallcot, brought Lucas Perez. Let go Iwobi, brought Pepe for 72M?? Let go Ismael Bennacir, Gnarby, Jeff Rene, retained Nelson,Willock,Nketiah. Eagerly awaiting more super deadwood joining us – Smalling, Willian, Lovren, if you know some more just inform Raul and me! Culled from *Loose Cannon.* I laughter at the bolded ![]() |
kodded:Ozil and Pepe have failed against top teams, they are not Iniesta/Neymar that could have been missed. Where was Ozil and Pepe when it mattered most against Olympiacos at the Emirates? I agree Torreia is a miss, but white kante sef don chop lots of cricket loss in big games ![]() |
kokaneprodigy:No sane manager should start Geun/,Willock for a competitive team away against top teams. But its not like we have a Kante/Winaldum to displace them. But even with them Xhaka and all, City has been putting 3 past us.So it will make no difference. |
Nezzjnr:The Senior players are yet to master basics of football from 3 different managers now, what will they teach the young lads? They are not Viera,Henri and Ljumberg. |
kodded:Its not about form for Luiz. Luiz will play his long balls, do some good stuffs but will surely ruin it in a kind of way, and that you won't see in top defenders like Maguire, V.dijk,Larporte et al, they hardly commit those deciding game errors. As for Xhaka, let him continue to flatter some fans, he'll still cost us in a crucial time/game of the season. |
Nezzjnr:Your ideology is anti progress for this team. You're a troll not a fan. ![]() |
kodded:That guy is pulling your legs, shine eye ![]() How a true fan be suggesting space for Luiz and Xhaka? |
Nezzjnr:You're not a gunner abeg. |
iamoyindamola: ![]() You see correct players like Sanchez, you'll know this is modern football player. Not those sexy London boy lifestyle players you see today. |
Spy360:Leno, Mustafi and Ceballos, the rest looked amateurs |
iamoyindamola:He seemed okay with what he has. |
kodded:Auba will be useless on the wings but will score 2 from the flanks in the next game and fans will forget and support him back to the wings. Sterling and mahrez are example of natural wingers, you see what they did to us. Tierney and Bellerin couldn't overlap. |
Spy360:But fans believe we should be patient with Aterta over them, that he is gradually changing them from the era of errors to something new and better. |
kodded:If young players who should be learning from bench are considered good enough by 3 diff coaches to start ahead of the big experienced men, then that FC is fvcked! |
1. Arsenal as a team are too timid when the play strong teams. 2. Arsenal is made up of physically and mentally weak individuals. 3. David Luiz........it is well! 4. The team needs overhaul. 5.No defence, no midfield, no deadly consistent frontline......Haba! 6. Arsenal will be doing their fans and themselves a disservice going to Europe next season. Staying at home to learn and perfect on basic stuff is advised. 7. Deportivo Lacarona once ruled Spain....not any longer. Arsenal was once a major title contender.....but no more. 8. Hopefully, Arsenal will rise again....but not with mediocre players and manager. 7. Arsenal will rise again. Copied# Hard truth at the bolded! |
iamoyindamola:You're not even s strong and real fan. Supply your team with vyoir kids. That's what being a fan is. ![]() |
Expert17:Forget David Luiz has really improved in this new management abeg. ![]() |
Our front 3 has been causing troubles to them ![]() |
Arterta is doing well, what a beautiful line up ![]() |
*ANALYSING THE STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF THE CURRENT ARSENAL SQUAD* 1) *BERND LENO:* Good shot-stopper and is agile, however, doesn't command his area with as much authority as other top goalkeepers. 2) *HECTOR BELLERIN:* Great straight line speed and times runs well, therefore can overlap and provide the simple cutbacks and low crosses. Awful agility and limited angles offered with the ball. Average final ball quality, and can't dribble 1v1 particularly well 3) *AINSLEY MAITLAND NILES:* Slower than Bellerin but twice as agile. Has a wider repertoire of technical skills than Bellerin, particularly dribbling. And offers more angles than Bellerin on the ball. Lapses in focus are more frequent than ideal. 4) *SOKRATIS:* Fast over longer distances but not particularly quick over short ones. Good box defender but a liability in the sense that he can over commit when defending. On the ball, he doesn't offer progression in passing nor in dribbling through lines 5) *DAVID LUIZ:* One of those players who you'll have to deal with being error prone unfortunately. Is a difference maker on the ball though, extensive range of passing and can play the ball between the lines with pace. 6) *SHKODRAN MUSTAFI:* Better on the ball than Sokratis to be fair, but it doesn't compensate for his his error proneness. Struggles with long balls and is unnecessarily rash. His form is showing improvement however 7) *ROB HOLDING:* Hard to tell how he'll react after a huge injury, was in good form prior to it. Relatively solid player but lacks mobility. *SEAD KOLASINAC:*Good at cutbacks and times runs well. Positionally poor and therefore struggles in a back 4. Good straight line speed. Struggles 1v1 and isn't the most comfortable in the build-up in general, not to mention progressing the ball with passes or dribbling. 9) *BUKAYO SAKA:* His future is at left-back in my opinion. He doesn't have the sheer speed to play as a left-footed left winger, Individual quality means he can change games. great in 1v1 offensive scenarios, but 1v1 defensive ability is questionable for now 10) *KEIRAN TIERNEY:* Complete athlete. Quick, enough agility, huge vertical jump and is fit. Good quality in his crossing and can consistently meet the attacker from deep or on the byline with balls into the box 11) *DANI CEBALLOS:* Very good technique, good under pressure. Can flatter to deceive, and a good proportion of his actions are regressive rather than progressive. Covers ground when tracking back very slowly, but surprisingly good at pressing nonetheless. Average defensively 12) *LUCAS TORREIRA:* Offers defensive security, cover lanes and gaps well. Below average as an athlete and poor speed means he can struggle to manage larger areas well (think peak Fernandinho). Doesn't do much with his passing in terms of breaking lines or switching play sadly 13) *GRANIT XHAKA:* Great passing range and can last the full 90 minutes. Lacks mobility over short distances. not good enough with his feet to play ahead of the ball. His passing can definitely stretch teams but he doesn't break lines with it/get the ball into the half-spaces 14) *JOE WILLOCK:* Great athlete, and can dominate when the game is end-to-end, can both drive with the ball or make runs off the ball into/around the box for goal-scoring opportunities. Dynamic footballer, but his technical quality in tight spaces/passing isn't quite there yet 15) *MATTEO GUENDOUZI:* He's an odd player because it's clear that he's best behind the ball and deep, driving and breaking lines with his passing. But defensively he's a liability if he's the deepest midfielder. Hugely talented player nonetheless, but needs to figure out his role 16) *MESUT OZIL:* Oozes composure and can link play and combine with players in the final 3rd. Legs are finished so lacks dynamism but still has an important role to play in the team Copied# |
Herbiedeen:That's just the truth. |
Gabzy1:Na same year(2004) we get admission to Arsenal Fc. You're welcome to hope, hoping and hoping era of our dear football club ![]() |
daveP:I thought we have fantastic front4 in Pepe,Ozil,Auba and Laca big enough to win the league ![]() We only needed a good coach to utilize and speak English to em ![]() |
