We've had success and it's embedded in our history. Both are undeniable. You may not like it, neither do I, but it's there. It's fact. Arsenal has never been an all star studded team. Try to understand you need players that can adapt to changes to utilize formation.
These sets can't adapt to anything, they ain't tough, committed, hard working even in training they don't show sign of seriousness.
The only formation suitable for them is the 433 or 3511

The most memorable match for me as an Arsenal fan was the Arsenal vs Hull City FA cup final. That is one day I can say I lost all home training and decorum due to celebration.

The match had started with most of the fans including myself in high spirits until Hull city fired two goals past us. As the match progressed, it was looking more likely we will concede more through set pieces. It was just like all our players are dwarf including the two CB's.

Santi Carzola's free-kick goal before half got me dazed and gave us a glimpse of hope. It silenced most of the guys taunting us at the viewing center( I prefer watching key/important matches in viewing centers to get that fan's togetherness atmosphere and to troll other rival fans)

When Koscienly rugged out the second goal, I cant remember the total number of Arsenal fans I shook hands with and hugged . That feeling of hope was indescribable. After the penalty save heroics of Fabianski at the Semi finals, I was confident we will win the match via penalties after 90mins.

Then we started the extra time on the bright side, having majority of possessions and losing chances. Then Gibbs lost a chance that wouldve put us ahead for the first time. I was livid and felt like taking a plane to Wembley to rain heavy blows on his head

Then the magic moment arrived with Ramsey placing the ball right in the right corner of the net. Immediately the ball touched the net I pulled off my cloth, ran out of the viewing centre shouting my voice Hoarse; Goaaaaaaalllllll. I ran back inside and kept shaking and hugging all Arsenal fans. Even non Arsenal fans came around congratulating us....Then we began chorusing : "Ole, ole ole ....Ole.....".

We were so sure of lifting the cup now, then Matersacker slipped while trying to handle a clearance, Fabianski came out to assist with clearance but he was deleted and It was only a matter of second before we go back to square one. I was sweating profusely and couldn't put on my shirt after Ramsey's goal. By stroke of luck the ball didn't hit the back of our net and We all heaved a sigh of relief.

By the time the ref blew the final whistle I couldn't describe the kind of joy that filled my heart. the trophy drought was over! I was so excited i didn't eat that night. . Late into the night I was chatting with my friends who are Arsenal fans

Football is not mathematics. Auba could’ve scored less if he had played for a bigger team too. Those players Auba played with in Germany were in the form of their life....u can’t compare them with the players Yakubu played with in Blackburn Rovers. In fact Blackburn got relegated sef.

Maybe u don’t know, Aiyegbeni played 30 games and scored 17 times while Luiz Suarez played 31 games and scored 11 times.

So Auba outscoring Lewandoski does not necessarily mean he is the best thing after slice bread because the great Yak also outscored Suarez playing lesse game.

Talking about positioning and awareness, are u referring to this year and last year alone or what ?

If u think Auba scoring 22 goals in 36 appearances for arsenal is a mean feat for arsenal , then maybe we should start worshipping Yakubu Aiyegbeni for scoring 17 in 30 appearances for 4cking Blackburn Rovers in 2011/12. For 4ck sake, Yakubu even played with a lot of players that didn’t make it to their national teams in their respective country( except for

I like Benahrama too. Gives me the Hazard vibes. Auba is better off at LW in my opinion. Stats show he does as well as when he plays through the middle.

I think who we get at LW will depend on if Auba or/and Laca leaves. If Laca leaves, we'll get a CF like Edouard and move Auba to the left. If Auba leaves, then we'll get someone creative.
I think we're seriously lacking in creativity and are getting carried away with this "pace and power" thing. We need a mix of both.

Funny enough if these kids start showing signs of fatigue it's this same fans that will blame arteta for not bringing in an experience player to help them.

it angers me a lot when I see some arsenal fans overlooking our LB and LW position because of Saka and martinelli, yes the boys are very talented but they are still kids, over using them could affect them both physically and psychologically especially in a tough league like the EPL

Hopefully arteta sees more than the fans and bring in a very good inverted LW that can do damage from the left side.

pepe is still struggling, Nelson is not there yet, abuameyang future is still in doubt and apart from his goals, he's not that great playing from the wing. martinelli is just like abuameyang, great with goals but not that great with his wing play, the only player I can vouch for is Saka but he is still a 17 year old and it will not be safe depending on him through out the season.


we need an inverted left winger to ease the pressure from pepe.

I think we are currently bidding for that kokcu kid (he's 19 by the way with massive potential) while most of the arsenal invincibles are whispering benharama name to the board. (he's just 24 and plays alot like hazard, I sabi say sod09 no go like this guy because of too much of shakushaku )

don't forget in 2016 and 2017 £30m-£40m was decent fee. £50m is the decent fee now.

What you said at the bolded is true, but then teams can always quality signings without paying over the top. At least Bayern is an example. They tend to spot talents as quickly as possible and buy them cheap. Let's use grealish as example, now most top teams want him because he's good. But this same grealish have been good (or will I say showed potential as early as 2017), but because most when he was still in Aston Villa, but because he wasn't on a spotlight then, most clubs never looked his way. If a good scout would have spot him then, at least, 15-20m would have gotten him. But now, it'll be around 40-50m to prize him away from Aston Villa. Those are the kinda signings I'm clamouring for... The kante and mahrez signings. Not all these media signings where once someone shine, the next thing is to slap 50m on their head.
If only my club will start signing smartly instead of media signings, then I think we'll go far ahead as a club.

in this present world of crazy market, it's better to put your scout to good work, especially if the said club can hold the player against so called big clubs.
It's not as if you won't buy one or 2 big players, but it should be majorly on the skilled unknown players. Arsene and klopp are good at it. Even your fergie too was good at it. The difference why fergie was successful than those two was because fergie players can't be easily poached unlike the first 2 coaches
