that's a very risky model. any big team going this route, especially in this era, is done.

Pepe will never be world class, that doesn't mean the next hyped guy wouldn't be.
Liverpool followed this model and they are world champions, though there's no guarantee on any model, but its logical for a team like Arsenal's budget to follow suit.

IF we can't get any No 10, I won't mind having Iwobi back
Iwobi, though shouldn't have been sold but should not be signed back except he shows the Gnabry form. If the scouts and Arterta are serious with their job, they should be able to fish out a young talented AM with qualities worthy of making if in England.

I will always respect Wenger of early years in this regard, how he scouted Hleb,SagnaRosxc, and host of many others is sumptuous.

I don't subscribe to media hyped expensive players again, just do a low key business, Talented, strong, spirited players not above £20M in their early 20s can do the trick.

https://www.nairaland.com/5838766/arsenal-may-sell-up-six

Sell auba, lacazette, ozil, mustafi, papa, Amn, el neny and mhki
Buy partey, Luka jovic,Mari, soares, ozil replacement (forsberg/grealish or guendouzi and Emile smith should take over)
We have nothing to lose let the hungry young players fight for what they want after all no Europe next season and the big players listed won't like that.
We should be good next season cheesy
Gradually we send away our high earners and rebuild in process
We wanted to sell of Mustafi,Elneny,Michky and to some extent Ozil, but you know no team deem them fit to pay anything substantial for them( that shows the level we are)Only Iwobi was. How sure are you going to see buyers this time around?
Guen is no AM, Rowe is not ready and Arsenal won't splash the cash, we will take 4 years to recover from Pepe's fee.

So let's enjoy our loan option to buys, old singings like Luiz,Papa and Williams and youngsters. I.e 5th,6th, 7th with no trophy and UCL football for the next 5 years. That's the reality.

Well said. If others are improving, Liverpool will also improve, they won't have it easy maybe winning the league next time, but they're very very strong favorite and I do see them winning within 3-5yrs.
All what you said is spot on
Liverpool and Man city have built a strong camp, they'll boss English football for the next 4/5yrs, except they go into deep crisis.
They don't sell thier best players anyhow and they know how to get players who suit their system coupled with having lots of players in their quality prime.

Arsenal's case is scary, should Auba be sold, we may not replace him for 8 years, All these:
Loan option to buy Denis Suarez

Loan with no buy out clause..Ceballos

Newly signed but injury crisis.. Tierney, kalstroom and Cedric

Old rejected players like Luiz,Litchner,Williams

And emergency big signing to appease the fans like Ozil and Pepe.

If we don't Change from this approach ehn, we are destined for 5th/6th/7th/8th irrespective of the coaches you hire or sack.

Hmmm... You think if Mane is going to Madrid, they won't have a ready replacement or tweak their system not to balance the loss of mane? Of all their players sef, I think it's only mane that'll be likely to move in any club is interested, and since Liverpool isn't a small club, they can easily replace him(probably not with same quality but similar, or changing of system).
Also, the Newcastle of the rich owners, while there's high possibility that'll carry league if things go well, but it'll take at least 3 yrs. Even arsenal sef, with our financial situation might take us longer time before we'll think of league.
Now I'm not saying Liverpool might be this strong again just as they did this present season (losing a match throughout, a scoring plenty goals on average), no. What I'm saying is, they'll be strong enough to win a league title in the next 3-4yrs since most of their players are young, and there's always a possibility of even adding new signings too.
Lol, talking about champions league? That's a knockout competition, anybody can be knocked out, and it's not as if athletico are pushovers too.
Well, we'll watch as it pans out tho, but I believe with this crop of core players and coach, Liverpool will see at least a league, within the next 3-5yrs
They think this current Liverpool is like Arsenal who will fail to replace with quality players for 15yrs. Liverpool will spend, and this their present scout are good at getting the Klopp kinda players. You're right, Liverpool are on a solid platform that'll enable them be a worthy strong contender of the League title for the next 5yrs.

The current crop of players will not easily be swayed because Liverpool are arguably the biggest club in English football history, European and world champions, Anfield and everything the Madrid and barcas can offer.

Do u know “improve” is relative?

By improve does not necessarily mean they are doing better than us. Team A may be improving while team B is declining, it does not necessarily mean and conclude that team A is doin better than team B.

What it’s certain is team A has risen considerably from where it used to be while team B has fallen considerably from where it used to be. And if the trend is allowed to continue it’s just a matter of time team A will equal and even surpass Team B’s achievements. This is the case between Spurs and Arsenal. I was a proponent of this your view before o, until there was a time Giroud went to 3 abi 4 weeks injury. Omo, aside his finishing, podolski brings nothing to the game in that 9. It's like he's always almost anonymous in that 9 role. I think it was 2wards the end of 2012/2013 season. From there I know say Giroud better pass am for that 9.

Actually, the only people I feel really replaced Giroud in that role was Sanchez and Auba(even tho, he plays more of a false 9)
I think it was the set up, A good coach should be able to make poldi a better 9.
Wenger loved Giroud and turned the Arsenal game to suit him ( hold up play). Poldi can't hold or flick it, he is similar to V.persie, a very good left foot.

Just like we are playing to Auba's strength, just give him and he will finish it in the box as seen with from most of his goals.

Give it to Poldi's left and the post will tear.

Christianity Etc › Re: This Is Why Every Muslim Should Accept Jesus As Their Messiah. by Fkhalifa(m): 7:18am On Apr 11, 2020
Toks2008:
Good day my Muslim brothers.

I'm not here to discredit Islam as a religion but rather to uphold its genuineness and reaffirm the teachings of Prophet Mohamed(S.A.W) about Jesus.

Islam is a great religion so is Christianity but I'm not here to preach religion but to open your eyes to salvation through Jesus the savior of all men regardless of their religion. Religion has nothing to do with making heaven(Jannah) cos in heaven, there is no religion but only those whose names are written in the book of life and for your name to be in this book, YOU MUST ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR MESSIAH.

If you die without accepting Jesus as your Messiah, you will have no place in paradise(Jannah) and you have automatically condemned yourself to eternal doom in Hell with Satan and his demons.

No matter where you are located on earth, accepting Jesus as your messiah is very simple and straightforward... Just read these words out..

''Jesus,i believe GOD sent you to the world to take away the sins of all mankind,i am sorry for my unbelief and from this moment,i accept you as my Savior.Thank you for saving me.
''
As written in the book of Romans 10;10..''For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved''.With this very short confession,i say a big congratulations because you are now officially saved and your name is automatically included in heaven's citizen list.

Now simply pray for the holy spirit that the Quran confirmed to be a strengthener(Surah Al-Baqarah [2:87]) to lead you on your journey of salvation in Christ Jesus and when the holy spirit comes into you,he will direct you on the next line of action.

And the best part is that you can still go to mosque as many times as you like, pray the Muslim way,go to mecca as many times as you want, observe all the festivals and still accept Jesus as your messiah because salvation has nothing to do with religion and the moment you accept Jesus as your savior, you automatically become a believer in Jesus Christ which is never the same as belonging to the institutionalized christian religion.

You can know more about Jesus from the Bible or through google search if you have no access to the hard copy bible.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
I refer you go to ACADIP on YouTube, you'll learn more about Islam and Jesus.

I'll blame Wenger and everyone at Arsenal for missing on Suarez, he wanted to join us, already chatting Arterta on accommodation and children school In London.

We're just lax and not proactive. Chelsea got Torres,City got Sterling from, instead Wenger wasn't serious nor desperate about him.

With £50M, he could have forced transfer, we could also have won the league with Carzola,Rosciky,Oxlade,Ramsey behind him.

Indeed, We need to ask what they were smoking at the Emirates that year.

Now he's playing for arsenal in the Europa league. His refusal to commit to the club is understandable and shouldn't be held against him.

It is the club tgat should do the needful and make the scouts earn the money they are being paid; they should get a replacement and let's continue the rebuilding process. We will only be making a mistake trying to convince him to stay with heavy salary like we did for ozil

BlueRayDick:
I believe most people know my stand on Auba matters.

Auba is arguably our best player for 2 consecutive years now, while he is not as skillful/technical as some of the strikers of other big clubs like Benzema, Suarez, Rashford, Firminho etc, he has proven to be a dependable goal machine that has been bailing us out even under "Good Ebening's" purposeless football Era. We all know selling him would have a really negative impact on our rebuilding process.

However, with the above said you and I know it is counter productive trying to keep player who is no longer committed to the club. At least we saw that in Alexis' last season at arsenal ; at a point it looked as if he was deliberately giving the ball to opponents after showboating for minutes with no resukt to show.

I will support the sale of a non-commiting Auba for anything around the region of 60m and above, while we get not just a replacement for him but also quality players in other positions like midfield. We need to stop relying solely on our striker to score, our midfielders too need to contribute more goals. We need players who would step up on a day the striker is having a bad day and firing blanks. Like somebody suggested up there, let's clear dead woods like Mkhitaryan, El Neny, Mustafi and Co. Let's have a balanced team first.

With a balanced team, the striker's position will not be as important as it is presently at arsenal. Loserpool has a balanced team which was what we saw in their run to winning the champions league last season. Players like Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Alexander- Arnold would just turn up while Sallah or Mane are not hitting the targets. Let's improve our team in other positions and get a replacement for Auba and see how it goes.
By default The front4 of a good team should be banging in goals, as seen with De bruyne,Sterling,Mahrez and Aguero.

Ozil is never ready to shoot but assist from a tap in position.
Pepe shoots like Iwobi.
Laca isn't clinical enough.

Liverpool's front 3 do 70%+ of the goals.

hey guys, happy Sunday to my fellow gunners in this wonderful thread, so I want to talk about this abumeyang situation, am I the only one who feels that the club should sell him off already since he is not ready to commit his long term future to the club.

I hate the way the media has exalted him like he is some kind of Ronaldo incarnate, yes he scores alot of goals for us but apart from those goals he is just average, van persie came and left , Sanchez also came and left now its his turn, someone will still replace him, he is not the first neither will he be the last.

what the club needs right now during this rebuilding period is a United and commited team that is ready to fight for the barge and not for their pockets.
Fantabulous!

At the bolded, What do you mean? While I agree Aubameyang might be l poor with the ball on the wings, but as a CF, he isn't average.

Aubameyang should be sold if the price will be around £60 and for two major reasons:
1) He is getting older and may not be as sharp again.
2) We may see another Ozil situation ( on huge pay with little product and not easily disposable).

But Arsenal fans will disagree and aren't ready to look deep or take risk.

Liverpool sold Suarez and Coutinho and replaced adequately.
Chelsea sold ageing Hazrad for Pulisic, ziyech and maybe Sancho.

I'll also approve the sell of Lacazzete also, there if the price will be around £50, There are interesting players like Timo Werner,Inaki Williams,Dembele and Diego Jota.
