Nobody is saying we should be handing out 6-0, 8-0, 13-1 results every game day to opponents. What I personally detest is the fact that we've seen games where going into the game we have the materials( players) that could win the game hands down, but 30 minutes to the kickoff when the team list is released u start thinking what Emery is smoking. We've seen this scenario playing out more than once this season.

I don't know why a coach will the materials to prosecute a game, but he will go for a cowardly set up team, only to concede and start putting in measures to mitigate a loss that should never have happened. Except some fans live in self denial, they will know Arsenal under Emery is not a step forward this far.

Arsenal should not be grinding out result against a newly promoted Aston Villa at home, even to the extent of getting red carded. If grind out result against Losperpool, Tottenham away; nobody will complain.

I want to ask,The set up of Aubameyang,Pepe,Saka and Cebbalos upfront cowardice?

And do you think its only Arsenal that grinds out result against teams outside top6?

How u narrow Chelsea's winning the Europa league to being cos they are English and played against an English opponent in Arsenal I may never know.

For all we care, Arsenal was shiit towards the end of last season. It had nothing to do whether their opponent was English or German. We saw an arsenal that was on the decline towards the end of last season. We were conceding against just anybody. Our defence was shitty! The only sparkle in our game was our attack. Any decent team would've destroyed us in that final. It definitely had nothing to do with the country of origin I'd the team.

We've wọn Chelsea in finals before. At least the last FA cup we was against them. With per mastersacker in the heart of defence, we won them man for man. Now that match is one of the matches Emery and his sympathizers need to rewatch and understand what being tactical means.

Then we have the sarri factor. Sarri has never won a cup in his coaching career and he went all out to rewrite his story. If Sarri was coaching any other team, we could've lost to that team as well.

Then u mentioned pep. Like seriously? Pep played 4 different competitions to the last day! He won 3 out of those. You think his team won't get weary? Na machine dem be? Set him up against an English team in the group stages or second round of the champions league and see if he won't decimate them.

See it doesn't even make sense if Emery has played sarri twice in the league and couldn't master his game plan and lose against him in Europa final.only to come and say if Emery had gotten Frankfurt he's not played before he will win beacuse Frankfurt plays in Germany.

Arsenal was bad in the league but very good in Europe, Napoli and Valencia are more decent teams than Chelsea and we took them off with ease, it's a final and both teams will be up for it, Emery fielded the best first 11at the time, do not forget he missed his top players in Bellerin,Holding, Mhicky,Welbeck,Suarez and Ramsey..it's better you come to agree last season was about English teams in Europe..

Its my opinion, Arsenal stand a better chance of winning Frankfurt than Chelsea, there was a season we won AC Milan in a dramatic game at the then toughest ground San siro, then lose 4-1 at Anfield, its a known fact, teams from same league do not like facing each orther in Europe

Personally I'd rather face a non English side in a European final. For some others it may be different.

We trashed Frankfurt 0-3 away with kids, but struggle to beat Bournemouth at home. It's common sense really to know that familiarity makes things more difficult. But then common sense is not really common.

TV rights money has enabled most teams in the EPL to go for most players they want. The days teams cower when they see the big four are gone. We are not entitled to any winning; Arsenal must fight for its own win, which they have been doing as well as other top teams too.

Lol no great team wins titles without good defensive shape no matter their attacking prowess. Man city are getting carried away. Meanwhile the young lads saved us in this game. Terrible second half but hats off to saka and Guen. They maintained good off the ball shape. Honestly Emery needs to make a decision on some players. Pepe needs time but he also needs to learn fast that the epl is faster than ligue 1 where he came from.

Xhaka is one game away from costing us valuable points and senior players at the back still defending with suspect.

For me Martinelli has to start on either RW or LW for us. His work rate is un-beiliveable. His attitude is proper and if we can press with good intensity and organization having Martinelli and Saka on either flanks, we should be winning balls more often and control games . We need to bring the fear factor back. I was really and truly impressed with Martinelli once again. Attitude is what may ruin Nelson if he is not careful.

Again consistency is key and there will be times when he may have a poor game but if his good games are 70 to 80 percent more than his off days then that's fine in my opinion.

I would also love to see Martinelli on the wings to pepper Pepe so he can feel the heat, but it is looking like he can be a world class CF, with the traits we've seen from him..His goals are not even the simple striker goals, they are Lewandowski,Suarez esque....

His work rate and intensity looks like he is from Klopp, he was running and looked sharp with no sign of any fatigue till 90+mint.

Kudos to this regime for bringing/moulding in lots of quality young players from within and outside the club..

Tierney,Saka,Guendozi,Willock,Nelson, Holding and Martinelli are the future.
