iamoyindamola: I told you LFC midfield is the most useless in the top teams apart from pressing they are nothing. Can you see how they are struggling against united, unless he remove one for keita they can create anything. Their game relies on the fullbacks and the midfield to press Lol, bobo the word "useless" is too harsh on them, I think they are good at their job/coach's instruction, but they lack creativity.. You're correct, they rely on wingers and fullbacks for creativity, and I think they miss Sallah. I think that's what Emery wants to play, he doesn't want to create from midfield. |

The big guns are strong on their home ground, The then Emery's poor inherited side drew Liverpool and outclassed them in all areas at the Emirates.. Let's see how they will cope at Anfield with the press, Liverpool aren't that special away from home but at Anfield. |

From the photo below, we can deduce the ff:
Goals We need Laca back asap to start scoring..
Assist. We need Bellerin and Tierney for more creativity and assists.
Tackles.. Guendozi has been integral part of this team and far from being a passenger.
Fouls.. Xhaka will kill us if we don't axe him, let's try Ndidi or Partey next summer.

iamoyindamola: bros let's forget that xhaka case Moreover, ceballos performs better playing deep just like carzola, they have somethings in common. I also noticed guendouzi is the only player Emery hasn't played out of position, there is no harm try to push him to play 10 The midfield will not improve if Xhaka keeps starting all games, Ceballos too dey lose ball, let him be the AM, Guen has played AM for us and it wasn't nice. |

iamoyindamola: Very simple, play ceballos and torreira to their strength i.e partner these 2 in DM and push guen forward since he's a liability marking or tracking. But this will never happen cos xhaka is the fvcking captain I don't think Ceballos should sit beside Torreira, they will be good going forward, but shall be exposed and outrun by those bullies in England, that's real liability.. Also Guen will not an AM, he'll be made to look like trash, it isn't his forte... Xhaka is supposed to be what Aribo was today, we need a big man to patner one of Guen,Willock Ceballos and Torreira. |

.... That his goal against Tottenham recently still dey scatter my head; the first touch, control and finish with his weaker foot and then the cold stone celebration no be here bro. I understand you, and I know you are not a big fan of his,and I like that you analyzed him with logic as against a stvpid hatred manner For sure he isn't like firmino, but I believe he style can be similar to him if flanked with good scoring wingers or AM. Swissh: Curious question how will you guys rate lacazette career so far at Arsenal. He hasn't really had a world class season with us. For me he has been very good and justified his price tag, He definitely may not have that world class like Sallah's first season, but he proven to be a very key figure in this team.. There's a reason he is always on fans favorite line up and was voted Arsenal's POTY. Lacazette is as important to the team as Auba or even more in big/tough games. He is similar to Firmino, he may not be giving you goals, but he'll give you points. He either assists, creates, start a good build up,win you penalties and score classic individual brilliance goals. |

BlueRayDick: On a serious note, it is actually unfair to mustafi. He may not be the A'grade defender desire him to be , but he's not as worse as they are trying to paint him.
There are a whole lot of terrible defenders out there whom Mustafi will even best on a good day. I think his problem is compounded by Arsenal's recent woes in which he's a major player. There are obviously other players like Xhaka who should get the worst defensive midfielder and Mitland-Niles who should be the worst makeshift rightback in the whole world. Heaping all the blame for the woeful end to last season on him is not fair to him.
I'm happy he's a realist and pointed it out that he knew's not been at his best in the recent past, but now creating one phantom yeye award to denigrate him is just not fair jare. He even stated he was injured prior to that loserpool game which the point his season started going downhill.
He's been decent the few games he's featured this season.
On a lighter note, they should stop this rubbish negative publicity and allow us sell him to a decent side for a good price in peace So we plenty wey codedly like Mustafi , you just wrote my opinion on the lad, he has been scapegoat too much, There were games he was dropped after being roasted by his fans thinking he was the problem, only for us to concede 3 at wolves, Leicester and 4 at Baku from Chelsea, without him being on the pitch.. Even earlier in the season, Sokratis and Luiz didn't fair better.. I hope he can turn it on and win fans back or attract good buys in the market. |

Spy360: ...the flow.
Grinding out a result is a football technical term used when a team decides to adopt a practical but non conventional tactics to win a match when their usual approach isn't working or when their regular players are not available.
From here it's seen that it's against weaker oppositions that you grind out a result. You don't say you grind out a result when you play Liverpool they are superior side for now at least. But when it's against weaker teams like the case of Bournemouth that the term is rightly used. So whether it's one shot on goal or ten, it's immaterial as long as you manage to secure a win. In grinding out a result, winning is more important than play.
The Man United teams of the Ferguson era were very good at it unlike their Arsenal counterparts. They know how to nick 3pts against stubborn oppositions when they discover that their exciting play isn't going to yield the desired points. But you see Arsenal after playing so well with exciting patterns still end up losing, something similar to what happened to Man City against Wolves.
Now some fans see their boring play and criticize it, but the manager (and players as well) know that for them to garner to points, they have to play dirty.
If this epistle is not enough to give you guys understanding, then it's a pity. I can't help your ignorance further.
Thanks. Let me give you their rebuttals, " You don't grind out results against Aston villa and Bournemouth, we are Arsenal, we have pepe and Aubameyang, every team should bow at our feet, We have a top class team that should be competing with Liverpool and City. Also, it is important we have shots on and off goal, and concede little or no shots and corners irrespective of result/outcome of the game.. Wenger is a better manager, he entertains us, we might be losing 1-0, 2-1 to likes of Blackburn, Stoke and QPR, but you see positive football Lastly, Emery should be sacked asap, bring in Mourinho,Benitez or Allegri, they will give us good football and trophies with this set of players." I hope it is clear. |

Again I'm not living in 2011, the banter era of 23 shots on goal and yet lose 1-0 at Blackburn..
Liverpool fans care about the 3 points at that crucial stage than any orther meaningless stat, city with their possession and targets lost to recently promoted wolves..
If you're not playing well but you give me the points, then that's fair enough, 8 games gone, the remaining 30 games will decide what the future of the manager will look like.
It is nonsensical to call for sack of the coach for Benitez or Mourinho at this point |

.... Emery has started youngsters against the big guns which to me is a man with balls but they call him a coward. I am bewildered honestly ..
..He rewards performance too which makes him a fair man and that's why the fringe players are Killing themselves on the pitch because they know if they perform, they will likely start or be on the bench in the EPL. That's a good Coach to me.
...Perhaps, he gives his opponents too much credit especially away but you have to know that our away form has been abysmal the last few seasons which is the sole reason why we have failed to qualify for the Champions league. We are outstanding at home even in this "cowardly" regime but our away form has to be fixed and if it means grinding out results to do so, I will gladly take it. Europa league don taya some of us abeg. They think too far from reality, the era of top 4 bossing teams is gone, except you are city or Liverpool, even those teams ground results against teams outside top6( I'll go bring those games out).. The reality is we are on par with Spurs, utd and Chelsea, maybe a little bit better, because we bought pepe they felt we are Barca or Bayern.. Chelsea won UCL and 2 Europas by playing drab football, nobody remembers that, they don't write it on history board, so so teams won by playing dirty, it hurts when Chelsea fans brag about European glory to my face. Spy360: Please I will like you to focus on the point of argument. It's a comparison between Frankfurt and B'Mouth which was more difficult to beat. The fact that BM is PL compounds everything.
Fkhalifa made a valid point when he said Spurs knocked out Man City from CL. City would have probably preferred a non PL side. It's that simple. For all of the money that Guardiola has spent since 2016, he hasn’t been able to take City beyond the quarter-finals of the Champions League. He was hired by the club to turn the Citizens into behemoths of European football but so far, that target hasn’t been realised. And one hurdle that City are going to have to overcome is their miserable record against English clubs in Europe. Man City have played five matches against English clubs in Europe and have lost every single one. European Cup Winners’ Cup semi-final - 1970-1971 First leg: Chelsea 1-0 Manchester City Second leg: Manchester City 0-1 Chelsea Champions League quarter-final | 2017-18 First leg: Liverpool 3-0 Manchester City Second leg: Manchester City 1-2 Liverpool First leg: Tottenham 1-0 Manchester City Second leg: City 4- 3spurs.. The above was culled from givemesport.com Tell me if pep will like to face any English side in Europe again. |
