As usual we parry at the Emirates, until we start to look so tired and sleepy in Naples.
The difference between city/l.pool and us is that after scoring 2/3 goals we feel fulfilled, its been so since the Wenger days..
I fear our missed chances may come to haunt us,laca and Auba needs to start competing and end this bromance..
Kolasinac was so so average, Kosc is back, solidity is restored at the back, Torreira is class,Ozil thrives when given space, Auba should realise it isn't easy to see tap ins against top teams like this..
I don already write off our game at Watford And the Naples |

sod09: he did nothing wrong, it is the players mentality from wengay days. they can't squeeze out points away when needed it so bad they have given up before the match starts. ozil, guen should not near our away fixtures again till next season I don't even trust xhaka, mhicky,Auba,Kola et all, they can't do it when it gets tough, see spurs fighting ability, sissoko was a warrior yesterday, we would have capitulated in the 6oth minute yesterday, the pressure city mounted was much, but spurs stood firm, even their attackers were ruthless.. Its frustrating bro, I want fearless lion like Sanchez all over my starting 11. |

The last 20 minutes of the spurs/city game I saw proved physical and mental strength are major requirements in modern football. Sissoko, wanyama, ventroghen et al were not slouches nor push overs, they were MEN and stood tough against city.. I looked at son's goal, and I asked myself which of attacking players can be that ruthless.
I trust ozil to start passing/looking to assist in that position, Auba trying to position for tap in.
I've seen spurs battle Madrid, juve, barca, Dortmund and Chelsea over the last 2 years.
I admire poch and respect the spurs, Arsenal needs to do away with this present weak players, bring in talented fighters over the next 3/4 windows, else I'm tearing my membership card. |

That hazard's first goal yesterday, until we bring in attacking players with such fearless attribute, only then can we think of competing at the highest stage.
All this spineless yeye nearest man passers, ball flickers won't cut it when the games gets tough.
I maintain my stance on that. |

solomonbrown64: ......Stats: Mesut Özil failed to created a chance, produce a shot, win a foul or complete a take-on during his time on the pitch against Everton.
....How can the Captain and leader for the day be that woeful? What was he doing on the pitch then for over 70minutes? And yet some fans will defend him with all forms of irrational excuses. The only passion he showed today was throwing his jacket at the Everton crew and even at that he missed. SMH
....Mhki and Elneny must be sold... it's quite unfortunate that AMN is so lackadaisical in his approach to his game. Yes, right back isn't his position but if he is careless with the ball at that end, how will he behave when placed in midfield?
.....Iwobi is our best alternative to a winger and must start from now oh until we get a proper one in the summer but I worry for our defense. No left back and right back replacement and we are in need of another centre back. Kai, Wenger really do us something before he commot.
....Top 4 is still in our hands, and thank God, Xhaka, Ramsey and Torreira will be back during the next epl match. I hope that's the last time Elneny will play for us. Surely, it is time for Suarez to get his first EPL start, no? Not many will have the balls to call out ozil, El neny will be the scape goat,The thing about Ozil is he is naturally soft, weak and slow, not a good trait required in modern day football, he only shines against teams who don't go hard and give space.. His game is the same and hasn't changed, he will do well against Napoli at Emirates and struggle in all our away games. Likewise Auba, take the tap ins away, he will be useless all day, him and ozil are -2 in modern football.no fight, too weak, lazy millionaires. Iwobi is the closest thing to a good winger and a ball carrier, Emery needs to invest in at least 2. It's frustrating, No one to drive forward, take players on,or win us fouls in dangerous areas, all are sacred to try new stuffs other than the usual nearest man passes. Top4 is doubtful, I don't trust us to survive Leicester, Watford and rest. |

How to stop Arsenal? Go physical, rough them up and give them no space.
How to combat that? Firstly, Field in mentally and physically rugged players, sadly, Only sokratis, laca and torreira passes this.
Secondly, Use at least 2 good fast dribbling ball Carrier, sadly No one in the squad has that, only iwobi comes close.
When in search for goals, you drive forward, cross, shoot, win founls and all, but all our players can think of is passing it to the nearest man.and when put under pressure, passes back. Very frustrating, Look at Keita, winaldum, mane,Robertson et al they give me joy with their ball progression.
Until we sort those 2 things out, we won't compete at the high stage. |

Spy360: A combination of Elneny and Guendouzi is a recipe for increasing entropy... It's games like this that made me desire a docoure, kondogbia and other big hefty players in the middle. Elneny is Rusty, he isn't physically ready for games like this, guendozi has been bullied physically and mentally by Gomez, gueye et al Xhaka could have seen red here and sadly Torreira alone can't do it. Only miracle will win us this game, Everton are playing the correct pattern of how to beat Arsenal. |

pazienza: I'm not sold on Ozil and I think Emery isn't either. Ozil will likely not start against Everton away. Torreira should also be back from suspension afresh and ready to go for that fixture.
Mikhi recovered from his injury at the right time, we should start him against Everton. I was impressed with Niles too, he seem to be growing in the RWB role, he's made us not to miss Bellerin absence. Iwobi though was poor, what's wrong with him?
Why exactly is Emery not even bringing Suarez on as substitute, is he that poor in training? I agree with you on ozil, I don't feel comfy with him and Auba especially in tough away games. They've got brains but agility. Mhicky ahead of him,I wish Suarez can be given Chance, staying on the bench will kill him like Elneny. |

Mattéo Guendouzi (19) versus Newcastle United:
• 87 of 94 passes completed • 45 of 48 forward passes completed • 24 of 29 final third passes completed
Progressed possession well, and played a part in both Arsenal goals.
19yrs of age, he will become a monster in the future.
We think Guendouzi's upside is big: he's good at playing passes through lines and is capable of escaping pressure.
What he lacks in peripheral awareness, particularly in defensive phases, he makes up for with a constant desire to receive, pass, move, progress. He never hides. |

Fkforyou: That night was truly memorable..!!!
I truly feel sorry for Uncle Tom.. he was one of my favorite Arsenal player.
The team of Hleb, Roscicky and Fab were one of the most technically gifted players we've ever had.
Shame we had to move from that, to the team of Sylvester.. I remembered how my friends and football pundits wrote us off, that ehn Even your oga Liverpool and utd couldn't stand Milan, is it this small kids Arsenal? And Boom my boys shut them up and made me us have the better laugh.. I slept late, woke up in the mid night feeling so good like I'm going to America Following day, my pals came to congratulate me, all confessed our boys were superb and tipped us for the final and future greatness.. That victory gave me a belief and drive that nothing is impossible and never to give up.. Hleb,Rosciky, fab flamini were the best I've watched since the invincibles, only carzola looked what I want since then. |

Who told you Kola plays back and square passes? Do you really watch his game? I said he is our highest chance creator this season, isn't that enough?
He plays wing back, and that's to cover his weaknesses, but then attack wise he is better than Robertson. Bellerin could have created and assisted same numbers with him, most of our attack comes from playing our wing backs to cross, cut back and square play. I'm don't hate him, I just don't see him as the real deal, yes he can be good and very erratic. Okay player but not GradeA IMO. |

Then kola shouldn't be called a defender, he leaves space a lot and doesn't track his man, even his attack isn't spectacular, his attack is far behind Marcelo,Alaba and Alba, even Robertson will run at you and not clueless on the ball. Do u think the 26year old will be a good replacement for the aging monreal and a real competition for our inconsistent boda Kola? I would be glad to have him, I don't know about his defensive ability, but his attacking side is gradeA, same level or slightly below Mercelo and Alba, his he truly 26? Monreal is strong, reliable and hardworking but old age and fitness are his bane, kola doesn't fill me with confidence, aside his square play, running behind defence and cut backs, I dont see anything else in him. Hardetayour: 1. Started following Arsenal since Kanu was there but became die hard the year we beat Man Utd in penalties 2004/2005 FA Cup Final I think. I scaled fence from school then to watch the match.
2. Style of play. Fluid and sexy as we used to call it.
5. The 8 2 game. I watched that game with my who was a Man Utd fan and he made jest of me until the match was over. Then the 6 0 against Chelsea ON Arsenes 1000th game in charge
4. The first of the back to back FA Cup titles where Ramsey scored the winning goal and that Champions League run in 2006 with the makeshift defence.
3. The UCL final loss. I cried so hard my mum beat me for crying
6. This one is plenty o. Henry's first goal against Man Utd, similar to Adebayors goal against Tottenham. Girouds scorpion kick. Not to forget Dennis Bergkamp goal against Newcastle tho I only saw it on YouTube. Denilsons free kick against Everton too. Henry's Solo run against Real Madrid. Its too much to start mentioning.
7. Ramseys winning goal in the FA Cup final. I hate to see Ramsey go.
8. Not winning the league anytime soon.
9. One time it was Bolton, then Stoke. Now, I'm confident Arsenal can win any game.
15. I don't think I would support any other team. I started off watching Man Utd games but couldn't find that thing to keep me watching unlike Arsenal.
10. Sanchez, my opinion. Then Ozil.
11. Yaya Sanogo. No doubt.
12. Van Persie. Very painful he even went to a man Utd.
13. I've only know 2 coaches so no idea.
14. Abou Diaby. Would have been a wonderful player if not because if the injury. Santi!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow your answers are deep and detailed, Indeed you are a big fan, you made me remember the good old days.. That viera penalty win against utd in 2005 was very big, songs of praise in my area that day, I can't forget. Your no4&6 I remembered them all like yesterday.
