BlueRayDick:
Well if you ask me, Aubameyang hasn’t done bad compared to other top 9 of other clubs in the premiership .He’s one of the 3 strikers on 14 league goals along Harry Kane and Sallah. He’s even played the least minutes (1737 minutes).

Aubameyang is not Luiz Suarez , neither is he C.Ronaldo you will expect to run, dribble, score with both legs, head and kpekus.

It’s understandable everybody wants Arsenal to be firing on all Cylinders like Man city, but forgetting city goals does not come from only Aguero but every members of the midfield, and even defenders. The truth is if the whole team is good and everyone performs their duty, you will load your opponents with goals like city is doing.

Just like you have said , let them get good wingers and quality ball playing defenders and the team will be better . I won’t subscribe to buying any new striker because Lacazzete and Aubameyang are two quality strikers any of our top 6 rivals will want to get
I don't have issues with Auba on goals,I'm referring to his attitude on the pitch when the game gets heat up, fans expect ozil to do the magic or carry the team like a Sanchez because he's the most paid, same should be said about Auba since he's our record signing, if the balls aren't getting to you, drop deep, drift to middle or flanks, try and get some shots on or off target, when you have been marked out.
Rather than standing and waiting for chance to fall in front of him, I mean this is EPL not Bundesliga where defenders give you space and won't go physical on him..
Till we get the ball carrier in midfield and fast creative wingers, Auba should desist from strolling around the opposition box the entire day and get along with your teammates..
This league demands that, its not about him scoring always, the chances won't come always, he has to switch, involve in a build up to attack, try and shoot to force a rebounce.
Auba isn't a below average by standard but his performances and contributions has been mostly below average.

Thank you. I have been struggling to understand this Aubemayang''s hype. That guy is below average.
...I'm curious to know the no of touches he had again, and maybe pass completion..
If ozil's sin is not showing enough strength and desire, then Auba shouldn't be spared, he's as well a silent soft player, who waits for tap ins and doesn't help the course of our attack..
People say our defense is sh*t but our attack is dull, not scary and nothing special.
That's why I'm clamouring for us getting good fast dribbling wingers or ball carrier midfielder..
Auba on the wings or pairing laca upfront hasn't scarred any defense..
He's a ball to feet or space striker,
Most of Auba's goal comes from Uthman Dembele,Shinji kagawa,Andrew shurley,Marco reus,Mhickytayarn(in his prime). They are creativity specialist.
He would score more if we can surround him with the likes.
Auba isn't the type that will get the ball,do a magic and bail us out, just like an ozil.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Fkhalifa(m): 8:07pm On Jan 12, 2019
Arsenal fans are a biased lot .
Its like people intentionally skip passed the performances of Aubameyang.
i dont want to sound cynical but we have been conned by Dortmund once again (Sokratis,Eisfield).
Please what are the strengths of Auba because i don’t even see the speed he is claimed to possess .
He cant play with his back to goal, he cant hold up play, he doesn’t make runs, he is a bad header of the ball and he is not a good finisher, he waits for tap ins.
Yet he is on high wages and cost almost 60 mill. Arsenal lack creativity and leadership . this lot of players wont do it .
i hope they can be a summer clear out . Players like Iwobi,AMN Guendozi, etc have to be surrounded by better players not looked upon to create magic . However juvenile Iwobi’s football is it is direct at least . I tire of the side and back passes .
As for Emery i am not a fan but i hve to be hopefully because i am yet to see a style of play or improvements . copied#

I completely agree with the above Fan! cool

the boy ain't even the problem here
Our defence is zero
We don't have wingers to drive opponents.if we can't attack we should be ready to be attacked.
Unfortunately we don't have defence or attack, that Mumu auba will be flexing muscle against relegation teams
wow! This is so me, we are now on the same plane cheesy
Get wingers( carrasco et al) and a ball carrier in midfield (Suarez), put either Auba or laca in the CF position.
For me, none of ozil, mhicky and Ramsey can drive, take on or scare epl rugged defenders,
Auba on the wings will be anonymous all day, lacazete isn't a creative specialist, but a CF.
Guendozi is useless in the attacking area, he's either a cdm or a DM.
Lol..at Auba flexing muscles against the likes of Volkswagen, bate and Burnley. grin

Prophecy fulfilled... cheesy
The entire blame will fall on guen, he will be the reason why laca and Auba can't do shit, he will be the reason why xhaka is poor, he will be the reason why we concede useless goals.

Also Ozil will either be blamed or missed, Ozil will be the reason why we lacked creativity, The same ozil not turning up will be the reason why city and spurs trashing us.

Auba and laca not starting upfront together is also another reason we don't score...

Either of the above must be the reason for bad results. cheesy

It has to be said that (some) Arsenal fans (here) are really a negative bunch. I mean if you visit the Chelsea thread and then come over here you'll find it hard to believe three points separate both clubs. It almost feels like Chelsea are slugging it out with city and pool for the title while Arsenal are battling fulham and Cardiff to avoid relegation.
bro When did you start following Arsenal and EPL games? As much as o hate to say it,Chelsea are a more ambitious and proactive fc than us both on and off the pitch, you should know Chelsea can cough out any amount to get a good fabregas( Suarez) replacement and Morata/ Giroud (Dzeko/higuain)..
Chelsea fans don't see us as much threat because they know how to address issues and force out good results while we can't.

But the window hasn't closed yet. Why are you sounding so negative. At least wait until they actually lose out on those transfers before giving up. It's barely 10 days in the window and literally no major club in Europe has brought in anyone.
Even if we eventually get the duo,the fact remains we lack urgency both on and off the pitch, they could have been hijacked, we have seen so many of such happening over and over every window...
Even spurs wrap deal up asap..

I'm not confident of us getting it done, most major clubs in Europe do not have defects to address like us.

Anyways let's wait and see then.

the problem with arsenal since the days of Wenger is that they will refuse to sell an unhappy player that top clubs are ready to break the bank for

they will allow the player to continue playing for us eventho he's not happy with the team, and when he reaches the end of his contract, we will either sell him for a cut price or allow him go for free
Me can't cope again, imagine Chelsea or city hijacking those guys..
Carrasco and Suarez in this Jan will put everyone on a high, Emirate will be noisy, fans will turn up,much hope and huge support all rounda.

you can't be so sure we don't have the funds
Humour as it we either manage these players and spend big next summer or vice versa
we dont need 67m player for now.
we can get suarez and carrasco for 50m combine and give bayern 7m for james(loan) with option to buy in the summer
collect the swap deal of bennatia and ramsey, if we need cahill too on loan
plus most of our players are back ozil, bellerin, kos, monreal, mustafi and mavopanos
I've been screaming for wingers or players with ability to drive the ball forward, dribble, run at opposition and fearless, I see this traits in yanick and Suarez and my Arsenal are delaying the deal for city and Chelsea to hijack, that's how we missed Kante and wanyama for xhaka,it still hurts till date..
Its better we stop dreaming and admit we are gona languish in 5th/ 6th for long..

City and l.pool invested over 100M in mahrez, larpote and Van dijk/ Alison respectively, and we think we can compete struggling to cough out 50 for 2 good players who can move us up.

thank God that Wenger is no more, if not, the whole world would have call him a stingy coach, not knowing that he tried his best to compete with other big spending clubs with the limited funds he got from the board
I think its high time we came to the realization we are no more a big club, and also destined to be wallowing around 4th/5th position for at least the next 5 years...

I've watched little of D.Suarez and I like what I see, YouTube can be deceiving but what I saw there is very impressive, we lack what he has, Ball retention, dribble and run past opponent, good passing ability..

I've been keeping eye on that dude since the wolves vs city game, he made one impossible tackle on Aguero, he was outstanding and has been consistent... I hope we snap him up before kloop and poch,he's their typical signing, I don't think he will cost much. What's your say gunners?

Get good Attacking midfielder with ability to drive ball forward, long range shots, defence splitting passing ability.

The following players are my wish:

One or two of this for wing..

Douglas Costa
Ousmane Dembele
Zaha
Cuadrado
Pulisic
Deleofou.

Attacking midfielder...
Isco
Alcantara.
James Rodriquez
Fekir
Tolliso
Memphis Delay..

By next summer clear the following outta the team..
Litchtener
Koscienly
Chambers
Kolasinac
Xhaka
Elnenny
Ozil
Ramsey
Mhicktaryan
Welbeck.

We have the top scorer yet our attack doesn't satisfy you.

Nawa o!
prior to the injuries on Holding, bellerin,Mustafi, sokratis and Monreal..we weren't doing bad.we were okay..

IMO, the above players are neither bad nor excellent.. They are are fair enough.. Our attack should be killing teams off.

Auba's been okay, but our general attack in goals and assists compared to our rivals isn't that spectacular..

Liverpool, spurs and city score 4/5/6 for fun..we struggle to create chance talkless of Scoring much..

Auba scores a goal and we fans start feeling special, whereas our rivals bury chances upon chances..

Goals win you matches, an attack of ozil,Auba, mhicky and laca shouldn't be struggling but outscoring teams outside Top6.

I thought they said Auba/laca starting together guarantee goalsssssssss...

Ozil behind them..will be assisting 3 goals like that kyle walker peters of spurs did yesterday?...

Well, I maintain that getting in 2 world class, fast, dribbling, running wingers beside Auba or Laca( as CF) will get us unlocking defence and goals..

Ozil is my real G,but this current premier league isn't for him,he will thrive In a barca,PSG team, where brain and techniques is a major requirement .

We need to move on him with a fekir,Alcantara, depay,Tolliso, carzola, isco or any hardworking, strong, with good shooting ability ..who will be a constant menace to the opposition defence.

Leicester didn't win the league with big name players, rather with Rugged men, running, tackling, shooting and dieing on the pitch.

Also Xhaka,Elneny,Kolasinac are not mobile enough, they need to watch how robertson, nabi keita and winaldum runs all day.

We can still manage mustafi, holding, sokratis, bellerin and monreal...the defence is still fair enough.

My frustration is our attack, Good wingers with any of our strikers at CF position is enough to kill games at half time..

Hopefully, Emery gets supported with funds over the next few season, else I'm outta this FC.
