Sorry about that Op. Good will bring a better job your way. BTW to nack the commenter above 2 by 2 just dey hungry me. It's funny until it happens to you. |
what is the meaning of fair? now the opposite of that is what you're looking for. Mind you, the word 'fair' has more than one meaning, so it would depend on the context it was used. |

Itohanmiwa:Nah pesin wey get wetin to chop dey jog o |
Salmoneus:I cant help you if you're always this pessimistic. i'm an interior decorator by profession, but i learnt interior decoration a time time when i was so broke, garri was gold to me. after three weeks of learning and they asked me if i wanted to take up a new job we'd just gotten(despite being a newbie; it takes about 3 months to master), guess what yo boy said? The hunger in me screamed yes, and i went out there and did a splendid job. I have the utmost faith in my God-given abilities, i'd only be shortchanging myself if i let opportunity pass me by because i don't have the COMPLETE skillset. And that analogy about driving a car when completly clueless doesn't count- that's suicide. Anyways, if you don't trust your abilities it ok, we were not all born equal. |

Zonefree:Lol, i remember one man, a member of my church then. He was a carpenter. His wife got pregnant and the tiny tiny work he was getting was not even coming again that period - it was a tough period for him. That's how the came to meet our pastor, explaining how the devil was testing him with trials and tribulations. Pastor took pity on him and looked for one carpentry project for him to do so that that he could pay him. Ashey God wanted to show pastor why the man wasn't getting jobs. It was a disaster when he finished; when i saw what he did aswear i could have done a neater job. But the most annoying part was, this man was not even showing remorse. He actually felt entitled to the agreed wage and wouldn't agree to make adjustments. All that attitude even to a whole pastor o. Pesin wey wan help you. Some artisans are a very special breed. |
As an upcoming millionaire that still has garri as stable food, one thing i have in spades in is the will to win. That alone gives me an edge because i never give up, and you can't beat me if i won't flinch because i've seen poverty face to face. i've done jobs i had no experience in at the time all because i said 'Yes, i can do it very well' and later learn how to do it. i'm yoruba, but i've learnt a lesson from my igbo brethen: NEVER EVER let a business go just because you lack the skill - negotiate first. |

Factory work is what i can never do in my life no matter how broke i am. There was a time i was so broke someone invited me to work in the factory he works, 1k per day i was so happy. Omor when i got there, na 7pm to 7am night shift non-stop - 12 solid haaaars. God forbid bad thing. The said guy go collect salary, use half of it pay medical bills. Factory work in Nigeria is like taking one step forward and 50 steps backwards, cos you're risking your health, limbs, heart, kidney, everything for daily bread. |
It is not necessary, also it is not expedient - it's common sense. |
LucyArts:That one sef dey o. Some men actually want exactly what Op has: silence and peace. But she should at least be appreciative; thats what he wants. |
it was going well until you mentioned legumes. Even red meat is good for the body, just that should be moderated. In fact, every thing on this list(except sugar) can be taken safely when in moderation |

SmileDance:For real? why? You're missing out o. |
In my humble opinion, i don't have any food i hate so much i won't eat if i'm hungry. I only have preferences; like i don't like ogbono soup, yoruba omi obe(i'm yoruba btw), stock fish, and some other combination like that. But trust me, i can and will still eat them with relish if i want of have limited choice. |
Oowel:So are you telling me that you cant find a lady in your class when you eventually achieve stability? Trust me, she's 100% correct. If you focus and succeed at what you do, you'll only want to go for smart, working class girls. Then you wouldn't need to bother about what she's bringing to the table because she's already complementing you. where most Nigerian men get it wrong is In trying to be lord over a woman. And to do this, the woman most times is dependent on him(financially, of course). That way, he has a sense of power and feels he can do, undo and redo. But when he starts to feel the financial weight, he'll open his very wide mouth and ask 'what are you bringing to the table sef' . Don't just date out of boredom or because your deek is itching you. There are bad eggs out there, but so are good ones. Succeed first and find the one that would complement you. QED |
Iyaebe:Truth dey taste like paracetamol, but you're right. |
I have no experience in this field. Maybe the guy below has something to say. |
thesicilian: another angle. @Op you can just google it to find out. For me, if i was to venture into the rain forest, i'd wear hard boots to protect against snake bites and carry along a strong camp tent(zipable) so that mosquito no go finish my life. Shey you no go take tips from Bear Grylls like dis? |
