Please help me understand. Are you saying that the list currently being circulated at DPR HQ now is stakeholders only and there is a separate list for candidates on merit somewhere? This seems weird.

The details I'm going to be sharing is for candidates selected based on merit - At least to keep hopes alive.
The numbers would definately be more than if added with the SH folks.

Someone informed me recently that there is nothing like list lying around somewhere. That it is hidden. Not everyone has access to it. The person i asked to check mine said he would try to reach out to someone to see if he get info about my details in the system. Not heard from him though.

The info you will get to hear is the number of APL at a particular Zone and each group of APL sent to a particular zone would be documented and listed serially. That shouldn't serve as the full list of all successes.

APLs at Abuja office should have a documented list different from those at Kaduna office. Just as was the case during interview. Each interview centre had a list of shortlisted candidate. For example i did my interview at PH. My name should not appear in Abuja.

In a nutshell i do not (for now) believe that all geologist employed are from the North

I learnt that for geologists 12 were recruited and all 12 are northerners. I just hope it is some kind of a dream but in any case I have given up hope as I am not a northerner.

There's a way some of us discourage others from sharing info here. I posted because I saw that people where still discouraged. From my understanding, the letters are dispatched in batches but everything or almost everything should be rounded up before the week ends. All the best to the others. I go Sha still share if I learn anything new

I was asked the most difficult question during the interview. Pls who knows the instrument for measuring earth's properties... I am a geologist. That question threw me off balance..

The question isn't specific. Depends on the earth property you are trying to measure.

I have no idea myself. I guess as DPR is a parastatal under the MPR that the minister has to sign off or something. But again it is an assumption not a statement of fact.

Just learnt from a source at DPR that the list is with minister of state for petroleum. Can anyone confirm if they've heard something similar? Thanks. Also if true does it go from FCC to minister or the reverse.

Does anyone know the state with the least number of successful applicants? And/Or discipline?

That sounds a lot for just one discipline. Moreover total expected hire is 400 so part cannot be equal to whole.

This FCC issue is confusing. Are they to give certificate of compliance for GT/EH separate from that of the OND? Or is DPR and FCC treating them as discrete categories?

I think the same too. Because I was introduced to a staff of DPR last week. I told him applied. He asked what course, I told him. He said it's good that it's engineering. And not something like Business admin or any HR thing. That he would have told me to move on.
