Today i would like to warn you about certain doctrines of Jehovah's witnesses that are not scriptural.

Jehovah's Witnesses is a Christian denomination with beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity.

Jehovah's Witnesses are directed by the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses which establishes all doctrines based on its interpretations of the Bible.

They prefer to use their own Bible translation, the New World Translation. The New World Translation of the Bible is Jehovah's Witnesses own translation, no other religious group uses this Bible and Jehovah's Witnesses make very little use of other Bibles.

Various Bible scholars, including Bruce M. Metzger and MacLean Gilmour, have said that while scholarship is evident in New World Translation, its rendering of certain texts is inaccurate and biased in favor of Witness practices and doctrines. Critics of the group such as Edmund C. Gruss, and Christian writers such as Ray C. Stedman, Walter Martin, Norman Klann, and Anthony Hoekema state that the New World Translation exhibits scholastic dishonesty. Most criticism of the New World Translation relates to its rendering of the New Testament, particularly regarding the introduction of the name Jehovah and in passages related to the Trinity doctrine.

The organization has received criticism regarding biblical translation, doctrines, and alleged coercion of its members. The Watch Tower Society has made various unfulfilled predictions about major biblical events such as Christ's Second Coming, the advent of God's Kingdom, and Armageddon.

Jehovah's Witnesses have received criticism from mainstream Christianity, members of the medical community, former members and commentators regarding their beliefs and practices. The movement has been accused of doctrinal inconsistency and reversals, failed predictions, mistranslation of the Bible, harsh treatment of former members and autocratic and coercive leadership.

Criticism has also focused on their rejection of blood transfusions, particularly in life-threatening medical situations, and failing to report cases of sexual abuse to the authorities. Many of the claims are denied by Jehovah's Witnesses and some have also been disputed by courts and religious scholars.

Jehovah's Witnesses focus on God the Father, so their name is taken from the Tetragrammaton, written as YHWH or JHVH and articulated either as Yahweh or Jehovah.

Below are some of the false doctrines they peddle:

1. They deny the trinity. The Watch Tower says Jesus is a created being and the Holy Spirit is an impersonal force and not a person. This is not what the scriptures teach.

Jesus is God and was present with God at creation (Gen 1:1-2, Gen 1:26, John 1:1-2). He is the creator of the universe (John 1:3), (Col 1:16).

The Holy Spirit is God also. Even the early Christians believed so. When ananias and sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit Peter told them that they had not lied to men but to God (Act 5:3-4). The Holy Spirit was even present at the beginning of creation (Gen 1:2).

The Trinity is revealed from the very beginning of Scripture (Gen 1:26). When God said us who was He referring to? Obviously Jesus and The Holy Spirit. One portion of Scripture that clearly identifies each member of the Trinity separately is (Mat 3:16-17). Jesus was coming out of the water after being baptized, The Holy Spirit was coming upon Him, and the Father spoke.

Another portion of scripture that distinctly identifies all the members of the Trinity and their functions in the body is (1Co 12:4-6).

2. They deny the deity of Christ. This is clearly mapped out in scripture. People worshiped Jesus severally (Matt 2:11, Mat 8:2, Matt 14:33, Matt 15:25, Matt 28:9, Matt 28:17, Mark 5:6) and he never rejected worship and worship belongs to God and God alone (Mat 4:10) and the apostles, when they were worshiped rejected worship (Act 10:25-26, Act 14:11-15). Even Jesus Himself claimed God status (John 8:58). The Watch Tower teaches that Jesus was created “just as angels were spirit beings created by God…. The fact is that Jesus is not God and never claimed to be”.

3. The person-hood and deity of the Holy Spirit. Jehovah’s Witnesses liken the “holy spirit” to electricity – an impersonal, powerful, unseen force under the sovereign control of Jehovah. The Bible, however, clearly establishes the deity of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the triune Godhead. The Bible uses the words “Holy Spirit” and “God” interchangeably (Act 5:3-4). Jesus calls the Spirit “another Counselor,” (John 14:16) with the Greek word 'allos' meaning “another of the same kind.”

The Holy Spirit is a person and not a force. The scripture says that the Holy Spirit distributes spiritual gifts to each believer as He Wills. A force doesn't have a will does it? No. Only a person has a will and that is what the Holy Spirit is, a person.

4. Consciousness of the soul after death. The Watch Tower teaches “soul sleep” – that is, the soul rests in the grave with the body until the resurrection. JWs deny that people possess immortal souls.

This is contrary to what the scripture teaches. We are spirits who have souls and live in bodies (1 Thess 5:23). The body dies when the human spirit leaves it and goes to its eternal home (James 2:26). Jesus told the thief hanging alongside him, 'Today you will be with me in paradise'. (Luke 23:42-43).

5. They deny everlasting punishment for unbelievers in hell and Heaven as the destination for all believers. Jehovah’s Witnesses teach the annihilation of the wicked in hell. However, the Bible says hell is a place of everlasting conscious existence, where unbelievers are forever separated from God (Luke 16:18-31), (Mat 13:24-30).

John the baptist gives a parable in which he describes heaven and hell in (Mat 3:12). The winnowing fan in this context refers to judgement, the threshing floor is the earth, the wheat who are gathered into His barn are the believers and the chaff that will be burned up with unquenchable fire are the unbelievers.

Heb 9:27 teaches that after a man dies he is immediately judged and sentenced to where he will be for eternity (heaven or hell).

The Watch Tower teaches two classes of redeemed people: the “little flock” of 144,000 in heaven, and the “other sheep” who, if worthy, abide forever on a restored earth.

The Bible teaches that all believers have God’s promise of a home in heaven (John 14:2-3, 2 Cor 5:1-8, Phil 1:21-24) . We go there instantly upon physical death.

Now you know the truth and will be able to identify heresy when it is presented to you.

PLEASE, PLEASE AND PLEASE BEWARE OF THE LEAVEN (DOCTRINE) OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES.

Doctrines of Jehovah's Witnesses are established by the Governing Body. The denomination does not tolerate dissent over doctrines and practices. Members who openly disagree with the group's teachings are expelled and shunned.

Witness publications strongly discourage followers from questioning doctrine and counsel received from the Governing Body, reasoning that it is to be trusted as part of "God's organization".

It also warns members to "avoid independent thinking", claiming such thinking "was introduced by Satan the Devil" and would "cause division". Those who openly disagree with official teachings are condemned as "apostates" who are "mentally diseased".

I may not be able to direct you to specific bible references but they will be easy to locate. First of all remember that time to God is infinite, so it is presumed that we cannot know the exact occurrence but there are clues.

The book of revelation is divided into three prophecies, the past, the present and the future.

John saw a vision of what had already transpired when the devil tried to prevent the birth of the Messiah. If you remember the part of the dragon chasing the woman with child. The child was Jesus. Also in the breaking of the seal, The slain lamb of God, the sacrifice Jesus made and that he completed his assignment on earth, hence the rejoicing in heaven that the seal could be broken by him alone. This meant he succeeded in bringing the light and truth to men on earth. That was also symbolic. The success of Jesus Christ mission on earth ushered the new era.

The time leading to judgement.... remember, this also coincides with the vision of Daniel and Ezekiel. There are similarities on what they saw. Now for the persecution of the Christians, John saw the fate of the followers of Christ to be killed. If you read the prophecy in Esdras, you all see a connection.

John also saw the happenings in their time with the persecution of Christians. He saw the killed martyrs asking for vengeance. But remember the reply he was given, that more were going to be killed and until the last martyr, judgement will not come. John saw the saints numbering thousands of thousands remember, wearing white and given a name on their foreheads only known by God. This had already happened is still happening, they are the saints that have died and go to heaven.

Also, remember the seals were being opened gradually with specific judgements. The time between each seal was not mentioned, but they will all be opened before the last seal. We have seen most of them from famine, draught, wars, natural disasters, pestilence and pandemics, global warming, pollution of sea life and many others.

The final seal, is the complete end. However, the book of revelation also mentions in chapter 13, the reign of the devil. It speaks of a 7 headed beast that comes out from the sea bearing blasphemous names. I usually refer to them as the 7 deadly sins but they are really not. It was said the beast got its power from the ancient dragon or serpent, devil. What I see are the rulers of 7 powerful nations possessed by this beast ( please watch Britannia TV series for a better understanding of how this possession works, that series is on point)

The 7 heads represent sodomy, killings, lust, deception, etc you can name all forbidden things, that will turn the hearts of man from God. They will bring destruction on the earth, causing unrest and crisis, wars, diseases and so many things. People will need help and will be afraid, they will look for salvation. This talks of our time or a time in John's future. Remember as at the time of John, the Emperor was the highest authority on earth, many nations were yet to be discovered.



(P.S. from this point, this is my own speculation combined with very critical thinking and probabilities. This part is yet to unfold)

We have world powers now, and they are more than three if you know you know. The dragon by the shore will transform itself in a man, or will have his spirit in a man ( that I am not sure of but I know the devil does not share is glory, he is known after all as the proud one). He will be the antichrist, promising a false sense of peace but many people will resist him. I still say today, that the signs he will show will not be spiritual but with innovations, Technology, many people don't care about blind people seeing or lame people walking. They want to see technology at its fullest. He will obviously fake his death or will supposed be killed. But I believe he will be brought back in some form of artificial intelligence, where people will think his conciousness will be plugged in like he is still alive. This way, he will have access to computer systems, control finances, and most importantly make policies that affect those who resist him. It is the resurrected beast or antichrist that supposedly gives the mark of the beast (P.S emperor Nero is dead and gone, he never resurrected or escaped death and he did not control the world, Africa was still very undiscovered as well as America was non-existent).

I believe the rapture comes after the tribulation though. Sorry I didn't plan to go this long, but I wanted you to see that the past, present and future are connected. Jesus says somewhere in Matthew 24 not sure of the numbers, but he says the signs of the end and he also makes it clear that the children of God will see the signs and know. When breaking down the book of revelation, it is also good you connect the dots with the old testament prophecies of Daniel and Ezekiel, the past and the present are connected.


Also Not forgetting, Christianity is just a branch of Judaism, remember Jesus also practiced the same religion and studied it. Christianity only refers to followers of Christ, the new covenant. The Israelites have always and will always be bound by the old covenant and new too. But Christ brought salvation to the gentiles and the whole world.

The persecution of Christians by Jews was not strange. People found it difficult to accept change and for that they kill and destroy. Remember the workings of the devil were at play, so all of it was going to happen, judiasm itself was not the problem, it was the heart of man that was. Many of them were not following God as Jesus said to their Pharisees time and time again. Remember when he said, they knew they would not enter salvation and were blocking the way for others to come in. The persecution of Christians still happen today and not even by people who practice judiasm.

It is obvious that whatever that religion was, it was a dominant religion of that time that persecuted Christians who were very few in number, hence the book of revelation which was also written 2000 years ago by John the beloved figuratively described the religion as a beast having a number 666.
Hence any Christian who by any means of persecution at that time, denounce Christianity has accepted the mark 666 and by so doing has lost his salvation if one should understand the point of these whole thing.

One could reason that the religion could possibly be Judaism afterall, the leaders of Judaism(the Pharisees) endorsed that Jesus Christ should be crucified. They also persecute Christians after the resurrection of Christ and spear headed the killing of many disciples including Peter, Paul and Banabas therefore they were the ANTICHRISTS, no other Antichrist.
Yes, we know that anyone fighting against Christianity today is also Antichrist, but how many of them still kill Christians till this moment?
