It will take so many months to correct the damage caused by Buhari. Buhari needs to leave the scene entirely for Nigeria to progress. No sane investor with his dollars will come close to Nigeria even in Buhari's sick state. The allocation of our forex to northern elites is still happening even in buhari's vegetable status. Pumping in forex into the market by Osibanjo is only a knee jerk reaction which does not threaten speculation. Only a free market supported by FDI inflow, peace in the ND, sustained export and free money movements without fear of EFCC will restore the naira and all these can't happen in a short term. But for a start, Buhari has got to leave the scene voluntarily or involuntarily |
Whether for personal or political reasons.... I would say Abia State governor have been proactive in sourcing opportunities for his state. Typically, this is what is obtainable under a true federal system where governors would have to source ways to generate income for their states rather than rely on lazy monthly allocation from Abuja. |
If only the cabals will let Nigerians be. The sudden improvements after Buhari's exit have proven he is a recurring failure and his cabal ain't happy about these developments. They would attempt to spoil it all. |
Sometimes, you run into news that insults your sensibility and you just realize how hopeless the case of Nigeria is. This news right here is an insult to the thousands of innocent farmers murdered under the nose of this administration without any actions by the FG. |
Canada has taken our best brains. Shame on Nigeria. |
temitope06:You might need to verify with Children Practice and Consultants again. They do not conduct upfront medicals for all PR applications except for Express Entry. And you are expected to show up with your ITA letter to prove you are qualified for upfront medicals. When next you call, explicitly mention that you are on EE application and not the other immigration processes. |
Nigerians have to take full responsibility for voting in an illiterate extremist as a president. Am sure some of the protesters were part of the 'change chants' who refused to see beyond their noses. Its so painful when you clearly predict what a Buhari presidency would look like, explain this to dull heads who view issues from the eyes of tribalism and still live with the consequences of their dumb vote choices. |
Looting for 2019 election continues. Nigerian Government have no business running business... Be it refinery, airline, railways, NEPA etc. They have continuously failed... They should stop wasting our money. |
For how long has this plant been running? Reason for selling? |
progress69:Did you read about dollar exchange rate being 150 two years ago versus 450 now in gas rates? Don't be to quick to exonerate Buhari as he is not even attempting to exonerate himself. |
The Nigerian church (Especially RCCG) is paying dearly for supporting an extremist for presidency because they nominated a redundant VP. Atiku is only playing politics for 2019. |
Until when will Nigerians wake up to resist this government? What is the limit of our docility? Who says Buhari must finish his tenure before exit in 2019? How many Nigerians will be alive in 2019 following current suffering? Nigerian youths must wake up and take their country back. |
Mr body language Mr no-nonsense Mr dictator Mr anti-shiite and anti-ipob The archaic dinosaur is preaching peace after destroying whatever was left of the country handed over to him. Buhari's exit would do this nation a lot of good. Imagine the jubilation that will follow a Buhari resignation or exit |
For the records, 350M is the equivalent of what an ExxonMobil Expatriate makes in 10 to 11 months. And the labour union is claiming that Expats are being employed to replace the sacked nationals. |
EbolaParasite:You are the ignorant one on this subject. The collective bargaining agreement that binds the company management and the union represented personnel stipulates that negotiations should preceed disengagement. Even the company process for disengaging the low performing employees is quite clear after exhausting the performance improvement processes. That is the existing law that binds the company employees to the management. In the US, they will not break such law if it exists. |
These IOCs should ensure they finalize negotiations with these unions before issuing sack letters. These oil facility shutdown will not affect the IOCs alone but the country as well. The relevant ministries who are meant to intervene would stay mute as usual. I also heard they were employing more oyibo expats while sacking national personnel. And to even think that crude is at about $60/ barrel now compared to the $30+/ barrel about a year ago begs the question for further sack. This un-negotiated sack would never happen in their home country where labour law strictly applies.. |
Wasted years. Retrogression, sorrow, tears, blood. |
Truth is a lot of people don't care anymore. ... especially on appointments because this govt have been exposed and stereotyped for its nepotism. Most care about the economy and elections..... nothing more. |
Its obvious Buhari ain't leaving office till 2023 because rigging is back in its crude form and there can only be few states like Rivers state ready to die defending their vote. Imagine blatant use of federal might ranging from police, army, Dss, INEC etc and APC rodents have the temerity to defend crap. If Nigeria is lucky, it might get its democracy back in 2050. |
After all the crocodile smile, python dance, monkey jump ...... the useless govt of Buhari is secretly negotiating. Note: Its only secret for Buhari's useless ego.... but who cares about an illiterate, dumb, extremist ego? |
Folks who know Okorocha understands he is always up to something. Its funny that with a 3 year pension burden, over 8 months salary arrears, totally collapsed infrastructure (especially roads).... he embarked on these misplaced frauds. First, there are no 500 cars anywhere even the pics prove it. Secondly, none of these cars will be on the road in two months. Okorocha only subsidized cars for his friends who will pick up and repaint for personal use in less than a month. |
Ok |
Absolute Balderdash $1 = 468 naira at this time and someone is talking about gains. Again, absolute rubbish!!! |
NovusHomo:Stick to the topic. In the face of obvious slavery in the guise of loans, you have the guts to play stupid. Shame!!!! |
Nigeria has become a theatre of comedy and annoying hopelessness under this government. We'll wake up tomorrow to another NDA damage after this one. What is wrong with Buhari understanding that force or violence cannot end the issue of the Niger Delta. His illiterate ego has been prioritized over the health of the nation's economy. Lately, he has been preaching dialogue from the sides instead of coming out fully to embrace dialogue. When you have a dictator president, you are in trouble. When he is an illiterate dictator, you are in big trouble. When he adds being dumb into the mix, you are finished as a nation. |
SillyMods:Then change the constitution ..... not abandon it. Without rule of law, there is no democracy. |
Foolish write up. Abati doesn't need to justify GEJ's govt as a better govt. Buhari has been on self destruct mode since May 2015 and that's enough testimonial |
texazzpete:Its a shame you continue to play dumb in the face of overwhelming evidences. You my friend is irredeemable, I can't help you any further. |
Paden got handsomely paid for the hatchet job but thanks to folks like FFK who would call it what it is..... a hatchet job, fallacy, lies, conjectures and absolute bunkum. Buhari has nothing to be proud of as a human being.... he has failed everytime providence gave him a chance. I am really surprised EFCC have not come after FFK again despite his attacks, he must have an ace over this guys. |
That's a commendable gesture b the governor. I am interested in knowing the processes utilized for identifying the best performing teacher is this our corrupt, nepotic, tribalism laden country |
DeRay98:Ok, Thanks for not insulting me in the process which is the trend here. Originally found as Spartans FC in 1976, was sold to Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu in 1985 and renamed Iwuanyanwu Nationale FC. On 7th feb 2006, Imo State Government re-acquired ownership of the club from chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, renaming it Heartland FC. Thanks |
DeRay98:Are you being sarcastic or you are for real? |
