Politics › Re: Breaking News; Hidden Corrupt Chameleon In EFCC by Flets: 10:21am On Jun 12, 2015
The sure way out of corruption is fix the system, institutions and eliminate bureaucracy.

All the noise about probe and jail is all balderdash and playing to the gallery. You can only jail one or two but that is where it ends as that never nips corruption.

We must get back to the GEJ template. Fix our systems.... without that we will be pursuing the wind.

We are seeking our neighbours help on the fight against BH like GEJ did
We are pushing to take away subsidy like GEJ tried
On corruption, we have little options than fix our systems for a sustained fight. Governance aint noise.
Politics › Re: We’ll Follow Due Process To Punish Saraki, Others –APC by Flets: 8:58am On Jun 12, 2015
Really can't understand this punishment being taunted
What are they gonna do?

Suspend them?
Fine them?
Frustrate them?

....what exactly would they do? They would only push them into the waiting hands of PDP.

Men of such ambition are not timid and cannot be cowed like tinubu does to his SW puppets. They knew exactly what they did and they expected such reactions as well.

Tinubu is only being naive cos any wrong move will crash his investment in this government.

Besides. .... why should I care?..... all I need is Change.
Politics › Re: Buhari Save The State Of Osun by Flets: 7:45am On Jun 12, 2015
State of Osun is not part of Nigeria.
We only know Osun state.
Politics › Re: NASS Election Coup: We Must Return To Regionalism Now - Dele Ogundele by Flets:
Some people are truly dumb. So because they felt cheated because their lord tinubu was humiliated. .. they are now calling for regionalism

That is the height of ethnocentrism.

All the high hopes the SW had in this govt has crashed in quick succession.
Osubande have been treated like a house boy so far, tinubu's wing has been clipped,
Osun has become the mockery of all states begging for food and aids from all that care to listen.
The ones in lagos are crying over suppression by the ibos

This is a time not to be a Southwesterner

Bokoharam was the pathway for the West to gain in-roads to Nigeria.

Unfortunately, Buhari fell face flat for the bait.

Libya, Syria, Iraq, Egypt etc are all glaring examples of the nature and impacts of the form of help the west offers.

What is their true interest? Which country have the West truly helped that could serve as examples?

Dumbos everywhere

For people screaming. ... remove subsidy

Hope you've analysed the impact. This is only an indicator of what increased pump price of petrol can do to the price of general goods and services.
Politics › Re: Buhari rejects proposal for Chad, Niger to head central force against Boko Haram by Flets: 6:06pm On Jun 11, 2015
This a press release.... These are not Buhari's verbal words.

This government will obviously be run from the stables of national dailies and immense propaganda with little or nothing tangible to show for it.

Why on earth will a press release be issued on a security concern and yet Osubande is not allowed into meetings with security chiefs

This is a mere miscalculated stunt

mumu... Lagos gdp now worth over 92billion dollars... Bigger than over 50% of African countries thanks to the Yorubas ingenuity and accommodating nature...

Before you shout lagos was once capital before, calabash and Katsina were once capital.. You flathe.ads across Niger should focus on them.

Rome wasn't built in a day, lagos is on the part of becoming mega city and we don't want igbos to come destroy it for us.. Cos anything they touch become curse.
Protesting against foreigners and expecting investment from external sources at the same time is tantamount to absolute stupidity.
Politics › Re: Just In: Dangote To Supply 24-hour Power To Lagos by Flets: 11:37am On Jun 11, 2015
The true fact is that Lagos cannot be an investors haven with current inferior and lazy mindset of some yoruba folks residing in lagos as well as their oba.

You cannot want to retain the identity of communal lagos and still aspire to be the biggest economy in Africa.

One of the biggest threat to developing the true potentials of lagos are the recent outburst against foreigners (xenophobia). Investors will be careful about siting investments in a region where locals are exhibiting increasing hostilities.

Dangote and Ambode can try...... but the damage by the Oba will take a long time to clear.

Have you ever heard of outbursts from locals of New York, Paris, Berlin, Nairobi, London, Rome against other nationals or even foreigners?

Do you think the Queen Elizabeth will get away with what the Oba did? With recent events, Lagos might just be trekking backwards.

Politics › Re: The Subsidy Question: Fuel Will Sell For N40 A Litre - vanguard by Flets:
After they are done misleading the public under GEJ and taking him out of office.... they are here to remove subsidy with subtle propaganda.

Well written article but missed a valid point which is the crux of Nigeria's problem. There is no unity in purpose in Nigeria. Our patriotism ends in our regions and as such Nigerians are willing tools for sabotage in the hands of the enemy of the government of the day.

Even the best of ideas will be mired at the alter of tribalism and ethnocentrism.

The same marketers who sponsored the 2012 subsidy protest are ready to sponsor another. If the SW and north are not willing to participate. .. the SS and SE gladly will

The SS/SE are willing tools in the hands of the marketers to sabotage any efforts at fixing the refineries. It could ultimately lead to absolute vandalism aimed at frustrating the current govt.

Besides, govt has no business running business. It didnt work with NNPC, Eleme petrochemical, Nigerian Airways, NEPA, NITEL....... and the unending list.

At the end, only way forward is issue licenses to firms to whom refining is core business, form A joint venture like is done in the upstream. ....... then remove subsidy immediately.

Politics › Re: Buhari In Love With Fashola by Flets: 5:07pm On Jun 10, 2015
Maybe someone needs to remind me of the highlights of Fashola's excellent performance in office.

Now lets leave Propaganda aside..... I need someone to outline 3 key things fashola did that points to ingenuity

Lagos state has the highest IGR in the country yet resposnible for over 40% of total national local debts
For a state that generates over 40 billion naira monthly from IGR and allocations, Where are the capital intensive projects embarked upon by Fashola's admininstration?
Lagos state is already a commercial hub before Fashola became governor.... how did Fashola improve the commercial attractivesness of lagos?...
What policies aimed at attracted investors was put in place by Fashola?
What jobs were created by Fashola's govt (dont mention Lastma) and how did his govt support the middle class or SMEs?
Fashola fixed roads and planted flowers, so did Sullivan Chime of Enugu, Akpabio of Akwaibom, Kwankwaso of Kano, Peter Obi of Anambra.... etc; what makes him stand out?
Increasing tax rates and imposing levies on okada riders, shop owners etc is no ingenuity for raising IGR.... What exactly did he do?
Does deporting Nigerians in Nigeria and dumping them under a bridge in the wee hours of the morning sound like an act of a sound mind?

As a matter of fact, people like Fashola should not be allowed anywhere close to this current govt. Fashola's understanding of governance only support the elites which is averse to the touted Buhari's govt for the masses.
Fixing an existing road and tolling it is the height of insensitivity..... and the first in Nigeria by a state government. Imagine if every state government follows the Fashola template by tolling roads built using tax payer's money or allocation accruing to a state.... we would have about 25 tolls in akwa-ibom, 20 in enugu, 23 in anambra....etc.

Fashola and Amaechi led the governors to demand and share the Soverign wealth fund which led to crash of our economy
Fashola filed a suit against signing the Freedom of Information Bill in Lagos state

Unfortunately, we Nigerians hardly reason beyond our noses... and that is why propaganda sells

Fashola looked like a performer because he took over from a a failed Tinubu under whom Lagos collapsed.

Fashola is an average politician and not even near a technocrat.

Politics › Re: Why We Are Supporting Buhari - G7 Countries by Flets: 9:12am On Jun 10, 2015
Can we step back a bit and ask some fundamental questions

Knowing that the west only play to their interests, What is the interest of G7 in Nigeria?

Which nation have the G7 helped in elevation from 3rd to 1st world countries?

There is ISIS and alqeada in syria and Iraq...... What are the G7 doing about it?

Just few months back, they refused selling us arms and we have lost hundreds of thousands of Nigerians ...... Did it not matter to them that Nigerians where dying and needed help? .... What has changed afterwards?

The came in to help locate Chibok girls, what happened afterwards? Did we find the girls? Were we aware when they left?

Why the sudden interest in Nigeria? ....... I don't know the specific answer but I am certain it is not Nigeria's interest.

China, India, Brazil and other emerging nations had to sideline the West to make progress.

Buhari's romance with the West is a very RED sign and we should all be wary.
