4. The opportunist. These ones are the worst. Be very careful with them. They have been in Germany for a long time and have their papers. They have a job, car, live alone, and they’re comfortable. They don’t mix up with too many black people and would be the ones to warn you to stay away from Africans.

They pretend like they’re trying to help you, they even offer you to stay at their house when you’re homeless. Then they use you like a slave. A lot of them are closeted homosexuals who take advantage of African guys who are illegal. They do things for you and make you feel like you owe them. When you talk to their victims, you’ll hear stories of attempted rape and maltreatment.

They’re very good at pretending and they brag about what they’ve achieved. They’ll make you feel like they’re the blueprint for success and you should look up to them. They are also the ones to call the police on you and tell the police your secrets. They pretend like they care about you and gather as much information as they can, until you’re no longer useful to them.

A lot of Nigerians who are illegal, especially the footballers, have been victims of this. You’ll hear stories of how the guy tried to touch them at night and when they refused, he kicked them out. He won’t just kick them out, he’ll also tell lies against them and destroy their name, as a way of protecting himself from gossip.
Some of their victims are too ashamed to tell people their story.

Everywhere cant be developed at once. There is no homogenous developed city anywhere in the world. There are bound to be differences. Some places will be developed occupied by upper class and middle upper class people while some other places will be a low brow areas occupied by the middle lower income earners. The most important thing is for developed places to be higher than the developing ones. You cant find people fetching water and carrying on their head in places like Banana Island, VGC, VI and co.
The problem we Nigerians have is that we believe places abroad are entirely developed. The only difference their own is making is that they have more developed places than underdeveloped/developing places.
Atleast the pple in Lagos Island still have access to water to fetch right In some places abroad even in US, there are homeless people who dont even have access to water. The media is powerful and they make you believe everything over there is entirely developed. There are classes. Lagos have many estates now and those estates are getting it right gradually in terms of basic amenities. Understanding is what we need.

It's no longer a story that pastors divorce their partners, imams divorce their partners, highly educated people do same and even the so called marriage counsellors are not left out in the order of the day and it has always been a thing of worry for me with the thought that they never loved each other before marriage but getting married has changed my thinking and has made me realised that marriage only takes the grace of God to work out.

I have been married for 3 years with 1 beautiful daughter with a loving wife (maybe before and some years into the marriage). I have always believed that I cannever raise my hand on my woman since my father never did such but I find it hard to believe I did the unimaginable today although It wasn't intentional.

It was due to annoyance after she asked me to stop sitting at home and go work for more money like other men even though I am a federal worker with above 100k monthly income and still do personal work as a civil engineer apart from the federal job despite the lockdown.....

It really got me aggravated because I have been the one fending for the family and the kid for the past 3 years and never asked for a kobo from her.....

Although I have noticed the urge for very flamboyant life style in her lately and has even asked me to get more money at any means, that money is everything in this life even though I have tried telling her its a gradual process, she still doesn't listen and even asked me to raise money for her to travel out of Nigeria.

I have never thought of raising my hands on any woman let alone my wife.....

Please how do I change her sudden mentality towards this sudden extravagant life style because I pray it doesn't lead to something else since I can't do illegal things to acquire the type of wealth she dreams of?

I don't know what android game developers are waiting for actually, we have phones that can play first gen games like gta v already but we're still stalk with crabby apps and games when they could do a lot better, what use is having a processor faster than most computers on a phone If you're just gonna use it for your basic apps,common snapdragon 710 will run anything you throw at it comfortably not to talk of 845,855,865.
It's a waste of money for now.
