Attention pls..

Very urgent help needed here..

I dont know how long i will endure zobo fasting till february..and i need to drink it asap like my life depends on it.. sad

U see chilled zobo has always been my best drink ..and what i learnt from this thread is that zobo is not safe especially in first trimester..nothing was said about 2nd trimester..

I need assurance that nothing will happen if i take it in moderation. Maybe just one bottle today..then till february..

What y'all mamas think?
I drank zobo in my second trimester. I asked the seller if she used pineapple to prepare it(they no get mind buy pineapple there self, e too cost), when she tells me no, I'll buy and drink.

Body differs shaa, don't take too much

lm a silent follower who need some help please.

NB: I was told to come back for a repeat scan after 2weeks. No bleeding but occasional cramps. Not frequent which I think it's normal. I'm really worried.
Wait till after 2weeks and go for a repeat scan, try as much as possible to remove your mind from it. That's why I don't want to go for scan till 12weeks, may God bless the baby(ies) in our womb, Amen.

mandysmum:
Good evening, Mamas in the house. I trust you all had a splendid weekend. Please I have some questions and I need a general opinion on them.

My hubby complained to his mum about my severe MS and she gave me some pointers on how to minimize it. She said I should wash bitterleaf and drink the water morning, afternoon and night, or chew the washed leaves as an alternative. Also, she said I should get biscuit bones, boil with salt and maggi, and drink the stock to give me the needed calcium nutrient.

Abeg,do I go along with this advice? Are there harmful effects especially the bitterleaf part? I am 12 weeks+
Bitter leaf juice stimulates the uterus anything that stimulates the uterus is not advisable in early pregnancy. Chew the biscuit bones instead and please don't drink the salt and maggi.

haha have you seen Nsala soup before? I bet if you do, you will abondon ewedu so fast
Everything is Ewedu and Afonja to you. Going by the pictures of nsala soup I've seen online, I'll give it 5/10. Nsala without catfish, uziza, and utazi is not nsala. Meanwhile Ewedu soup is very nutritious.

Continue sitting at home, here in Anambra we don't care. Mmadụ niile za aha nna ya.

Thank you ma
Ripe plantain
Cooked egg
Baby milk

I cut my plantain, cook it with little water. Bring out the egg yolk, mix the milk with water, add everything inside blender and blend till is smooth. You can mash if you want(plantain and egg yolk) and mix with milk

Aba is not even a state neither is it a capital, just a small town inside Abia State. Meanwhile today is Saturday, so they can sit at home if they want, who cares.

The last time I checked, Aba is not Anambra so they should enjoy their sit-at-home with their watery nsala soup

Lolz the custard there is confusing truly, pudding is more ideal.
Yea dear, at least I won't be confused again. Since my daughter loves ripe plantain pudding with egg yolk and milk, I think she'll also love this one.

Greetings to your family.

My dear, thank God I asked and she corrected me that she didn't use custard but the mixture is called custard cos I was imagining custard+milk+egg=strong agidi with "mkpụrụ"

Lol. No problem. No stirring, just like moin moin. You can chook fork inside to check. Pour water inside pot, again like moin moin. Cool, my baby doesn't collect hot food. You can mash or just cut small small, moin moin no dey hard like stone nah so e go eventually dissolve. Note that I didn't put custard in it at all. Just formula and egg. It's just called custard

If I remember and laziness no catch me I'll cook it tomorrow am and share pics
Thanks dear, I'll try it, just hope my dd will like it

It's supposed to form like moinmoin but it could be a bit watery/soft, depending on how much milk you use. It will still coagulate, the steam cooks it. I used yolk alone when my baby was 6 months, now I use the full egg. Either is fine. Just cook for at least 20 mins so the egg is well done
Don't be angry please. Do you stir while cooking or you just allow it to cook? Put it directly on the gas or pour water inside a pot first, then keep the mixture inside it to cook? Do you serve hot or you allow to cool? Do you mash it before feeding since is like moi moi texture or you feed like that? Does he chew it or swallow it? You know custard is a thickener, and is now combined with milk and full egg and passed through heat for long so that the egg will cook.

Please no ves for me, "ònye ajụjụ anaghị efu ụzọ" according to Igbo adage

hunniesuzie:
I understand the question. For clarity see recipe

Mix your formula powder with water (or use expressed breastmilk)
Break egg inside the mixed milk
Whisk together, you should have the consistency of moin moin mix
Pour in a ramekin (use a mug if you don't have ramekin)
Place in a pot of water and steam for about 30 mins (like moin moin, check periodically to confirm it's cooked through)

Listeriasis won't come up here because the egg gets cooked

Recipe is on baby centre and other baby sites but you'll see cornflour and sugar in some of them
Oh! Thanks dear, I've never tried this method, I cook my egg first before mixing and doing like normal custard or pap. Please after everything how's it like? Does the egg coagulate since it wasn't cooked first or is the custard like custard or like moi moi? Raw egg yolks or both the white and yolk?
Health › Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by FloraEC(f): 7:15pm On Nov 17, 2017
hunniesuzie:
Yes ma
She's asking if you mix the custard with raw egg yolks not the already cooked one before you cook it.

oamronnie please correct me if I'm wrong cos the fear of listeriosis is doing me
