Naomi14: There is a way I cook mine, I use palm nut cream, I hate using palm oil. then I blend only scent leaf with enough crayfish. I don't use bitter leaf or ugwu or the other bini leafs.
Using only scent leaf is sweeter to me. I also add periwinkles, sharki, roundabout and different dry fish. It also comes out really nice if you use only Titus fish in cooking it.
If you are Preggy use enough palm nut cream cos scent leaf is medicinal. As in the soup is medicinal. Picture of palm nut cream biko. I cook almost all my food(beans, plantain porridge, yam porridge, banga even catfish pepper soup (point and kill) except soup with scent leaf. |

Good evening, please I've a question. Going by what is happening in Nigeria now(kidnapping, child molestation e.t.c), do parents still allow their children to go for Saturday's morning mass, block Rosary crusade and visitation, block Rosary, Sunday benediction, catcheism classes, Christmas carols e.t.c even join church leagues like Vincent D' Paul, Infant Jesus, Marian movement e.t.c? If they still do, by what time do they start and dismiss, how do they do it? I've an altar in my house and I always teach them how to say the Rosary but the block Rosary in my area is in the church street and is kinda far from my house and I'm scared of letting them out. |

belladsweet: You can try it though i dont know what it will taste like cos i have never tried it. There is another recipe known to Ondo people called Marugbo Soup i think if you use ugwu, that is what you will be cooking not Bini black soup again...Other mamas that have used ugwu and scent leaves will chook mouth...
By cooking with pottash not like you will cook with pottash and eat. You only boil the bitter leaf with pottash, then wash away with sieve. The pottash only helps to kill the bitter taste when boiling it will not be used for the cooking at all. Thanks ma |

Belladsweet after blending it won't it be too bitter even after washing it? Fresh bitterleaf or the already washed one? Is the bitterleaf compulsory to be blended? Palm nut cream is it freshly processed palmoil? Don't be angry, immediately I saw the blended bitterleaf, my taste bud changed. |
Family › Re: For Those Who Have Lost Their Mother How Did You Cope by FloraEC(f): 8:29am On Dec 09, 2017 |
Fareedadey: But where was God when your mum died how do u still have faith We'll all die one day, ash we're and ash we shall return. Things happen for a reason so in every situation give thanks to God. If you don't believe in Him then accept the fact that nature took it's course and move on and stop blaming God. Men of Old also died, Abraham, Issac, Jacob and e.t.c even Jesus Christ also died. So nobody, I mean nobody is above death cos death is a respecter of no-one. You lost your mom at 23 and you're blaming God and feel like dying, what of me that lost mine at 10 nko. Motherless and those that lost theirs at childbirth have they all died? For how long will you blame God? Infinity? This world is not our home, we're mere visitors. Shalom |

Jina24: I can't really remember. So, some children react to soybeans? I've not intentionally giving her anything that contains soybeans but even till date am careful with what I gave her cause she can just start reacting to somethings when I least expected. Now that you mentioned soybeans I will carefully check the content of whatever I give to her just to be sure. Thanks ma Ywc dear |

Jina24: The first time I gave my baby cerelac almost immediately she started scratching her eyes and then her eyes became swollen I was confidently saying it can't be the cereal cos it barely pass through her mouth as she kept spitting it out. Even when I told the doctor the swollen started after we tried feeding her cerelac that she barely took the doctor was like she doubt the cerelac caused it. She gave use some drugs and few hours later the swelling reduced. Two days later her eyes were back to normal and we decided to try feeding her the cereal to see if she will take it lo and behold her eyes became swollen again. There and then nobody told me I finally realised she was probably reacting to something contained in the cereal.
. Is it cerelac with soybeans? My daughter also reacted to it, I don't add soyabeans to her custard or pap only if I want to waste money on drugs |
