Hahahaha. Welcome to my world. My boy can keep food even drinks in his mouth for so long. It's frustrating! Worst still, he is 3 and will never eat by himself. I beat, I beg, I bribe. When it's feeding time, I just feel frustrated

Frustrated is even small, sometimes I cry ahswear. I can't wait for this phase to pass

Abeg take am easy. His was born with it. Na from belle the boy no like food at all. My twin when she was pregnant, she will stay for hours without eating and she wont feel hungry. Lolzz, that custard part is so her, she'll be sipping it small small from that her mouth she packed it. I don't know how to explain it.

See my nephew wife oooo. Hes 6 and still holds food in his mouth. Give him his breakfast, if you dont threaten him with cane, he will eat till 2pm ie time to. Eat lunch oooo. His teachers too where complaining so his mum instructed that the threaten or flog him to eat his food. He dey fear cane... But hes improving sha!!!

Whenever I take my 3 yr old outside to play his appetite improves. Like yesterday we played ball and since then we've not fought over food.

We've tried that, instead she'll keep requesting for water. At the sight of food, cough will start, or is it the crying part. Last month alone, she has treated cough induced by food. Hubby told her she'll win a crying competition, all they need is to place food in front of her.

You're in for a long thing o my sister. My son is 4 years old and most times still packs food in his mouth untill he is told to chew and swallow. Though there's improvement now, be patient and try different foods. One of his teachers even suggested that maybe something is blocking his throat

Mama's with picky eaters, any improvement? Biko I'm tired, even her teachers are complaining. If it's possible she'll give her food to her brother who'll gladly take it to either eat or play with it, she'll do it. Like who packs food in her mouth for long until you tell her to chew it bikonu.

She's 7months going to 8months..
Last night 12am her temperature was very high..i gave paracetamol nd used wet towel to place on her..

She isnt weak..she plays but just the temperature..

Someone suggested i give her REXIFEN..that paracetamol doesn't isnt effective...

Her temperature was how many °c? Did you use thermometer? If she's still running temp even after the para, go to hospital cos anything night fever according to old wives tales is malaria.

I've never given baby grubz food so I don't know. Maybe it contains iron.

Since he's on EBF, check your diet cos of the green poop. Excess popping is not bad, my son did that but later stopped

MyDs is two months old but he poops alot. He can poop for 5-6 times per day. It affected his weight a bit. Don't know if i shld give him anything at his age. Pls somebody shld talk to me

How is the poop? Watery or normal?
EBF? Check your diet
Mixed feeding? Feeding hygiene

I've tried everything
Banana, avocado, fish, egg, butter, soyabeans etc they did nada
Multivitamin nkor, even the MIM some mums swore by didn't work for him at all, appetite remained the same with or without it.
Tried baby grubs products too, tombrown (he didn't like it)
I increased number of feeds to 5times, and I ended up with a vomiting baby due to overfeeding .
Altho his appetite is better than before, we still struggle to feed 4times daily with snacks once inbetween on rare cases cause he doesn't like biscuits and the rest
He still chokes on Some solids like yam n Potato
Still prefers puree to solids
He sleeps once during the day and active the rest of the day
Doesn't watch cartoon so there's no way to make him sit for at least 5mins straight during the day (it's that bad)
He has been hitting his milestones early enough and looks healthy too so I've accepted that I have a slow weight gainer and an active DS
I'm not really on the big size but hubby is, so he probably took it from me.

Feed maybe 5/6 spoons of healthy fatty foods 5/6 times a day. Don't try to overfeed him so he won't end up throwing up. Pap or cereals(add cooked melted egg yolk or avocado as sweetener). For snacks, try bread/plantain/cheeseball/unsweetened yoghurt/smoothie.
That's what I did for my daughter, she's a picky eater and very Hyperactive but I made sure it didn't show on her body.
