JstBrave: Good day mamas, my DS is 10 months old. When I asked the nurse who gave him the 9 months immunization about when our next immunization should be, she said there's none to be taken again but I just read here that there are other ones.
Please I need the list of immunization that should be taken after 9 months (with the price, if possible). Let me see if we can afford it. Thanks
cc zayie, FloaEC, Gidd person and other sabi mamas I paid 22k for MMR and chicken pox, vit A and Pcv booster was free |

rvpbae: We do basically the same thing then. My son likes his eggs fried with butter, i give him as snack sometimes. Pls how do u make the cooked custard? Hunniesuzie shared the recipe here but the diff is the custard/plain cornflour I add to the milk. I use only the yolk |

Rubyzz: I feed him about 5 times daily, pap/tombrown or cereal then an egg daily. Sometimes fruits in between, but he totally hates food so meal times are always a struggle.
On the other side both i and his dad are not that big bit we have big genes in the extended family. My major concern is hope he is not malnourished?
A doctor suggested i give him dynamorgen, is it safe for a 1 year old? Introduce healthy fatty foods like banana, avocado, mashed sweet potato with egg, beans(you can buy AS veggie beans, all you need is blended dryfish(you can buy AS own), plantain and oil). I'm a mom to a picky eater so I understand the struggle during feeding time I don't know about the drug |

rvpbae: Pls can you list what he eats in a day? Or what his meals are based on? I'm just looking for more meals to add to mine. His menu: cereals or pap Cooked custard(milk, egg and custard) Mashed foods(potatoes(sweet&irish), plantain, banana, avocado pear Fried plantain(finger size) sometimes he takes it Ogbono soup without okro(have not introduced semolina yet) Beans and plantain(I use AS veggie beans) Fish, spring onion and carrot(blended), I use nutribom rice to thicken it Any soup/food I'm eating, I always give him Smoothie(not all the time) Sometimes we do cereals throughout when I don't have strength |

Rubyzz: Good morning mamas, please help me look into this issue. My son is 1 year but he's not weighing as much as i think he should, i believe he is underweight. He weighed 3.1 at birth and at 12 months 8kg, he was placed on multivitamin but i dont see any difference. He was exclusively bfed and still sucking, only takes pap and cereal, fish and egg sometimes but rejects other foods. He is quite active and hardly sleeps during the day.
Please help me, i am so worried. Is his weight OK? What can i do to help him? How many times in a day do you feed him? I feed 5/6 times a day +finger foods or smoothie(banana, pear and watermelon) Multivitamin doesn't make baby/adult to add but hungry Increase his feeding routine and also genes can play a major role in his weight too. |

Stmema: Good day mums n dad's.. Its about my DS ideal weight... He was born big 4.7kg but now he's about 10.4kg at 7MO(he'll be 8 next week)... I checked the chat n it said over weight n another even said obese... I'm abit worried... Dunno if u should cut down on the frequency of his food.... He eats every 3 hours asides breastmilk which he takes on demand.... N he eats mostly cereal n pap... Home made food, not so much cos of pepper so maybe 4to 5 spoons n that's it... Am I worried for nothing? Or is there something that can be done about it.... Pls do not ignore if u know.... Thanks His weight is normal. My boy weighed 10kg at 6m and was born 3kg. Don't bother and feed my boy |

Been craving the Igbo stew made with Curry leaves. Might have to make some tomorrow I can’t find an Igbo food vendor around. Never tried scent leaves in stew sha Won’t be a bad idea either Was using curryleaf for stew before I discovered scent leaf. Also try adding utazi leaf to beans while serving, cut it very tiny too or use it in abacha. |

Heart warming family drama which revolves around wrestling sport.... Basically a true life story... (Not much screen time for Dwanye Johnson) The movie was just there. |

Thegamingorca: I'm not disputing your fact tthat it is used
I'm asking why it's necessary to even think of that?
Who dey teach una all these bad things?
No go cause your child to aspirate because of mericine To get the accurate measurements like I said before and also cos of spitters. Some of the pipette and cups don't have the required measurement. I prefer syringe upto 10ml Is not a bad thing, was recommended by a ped You don't use the needle with the syringe, is only the syringe that is needed and administration should be bits by bits and only the tip of the syringe that is needed. You should try and visit the health section sometimes. |

Thegamingorca: Syrup with a syringe?
Nah patent medicine store you learn that one from?
How many mls of the drug where you asked to force down your baby's throat
Abi the drug you buy no come with follow come graduated cup at the cap or a pipette for drops.
All these local women coming out here to embarrass emselves Like seriously, syringe is used/best in administering drugs to children especially if the child is a drug spitter and also to get the accurate measurement. Ask a doc or Google it. |

Anniebamba1: Hello mommas, this is what I've been facing with my DD for over two months now. It started like normal diaper rash and has refused everything I've tried. I've taken her to the hospital twice and she was given medication, it didn't work. Ive used sudocream, baby tribotan, scent leave, abf, mycoten and clotriderm. I don't know what else to do. I need HELP!. If I try to air her bum, she scratches it till it bleeds and it breaks my heart to see her like that. Please mommas help me! Calm down mummy, it'll be fine. Same happened to my daughter when she was 6m but in her bum bum area, very reddish and peeled, the cause was excess pooing/vomiting. We were given clotrimazole dusting powder(no is not pepperish like normal dusting powder cos I've used it), was told to air her bumbum(cleaning off mess and always removing her hands so she won't scratch it which is the main work), change the diaper products and always change her diaper. to her, she'll be fine.

mekaprime2: Most movies from 2015 upwards are clichéd, mediocre, poorly written & nothing to write home about..You can check out this ones, but I wouldn't promise you they're all good, in fact, some of 'em are mediocre.
Daddy's Home Can't find this movie on NetNaija and fz. Thanks |
