Thank you all. We were supposed to be discharged this morning but I heard the hospital doesn't discharge until baby has started breast feeding . I don't know how true this is, but I trust the hospital sha. I am only afraid of their bills . They are one of the best around here.

I experienced my first dose of vigilante.We didn't sleep yesternight. Baby cried and didn't sleep cos of hunger. I have been putting him to breast but nothing yet.
This morning, I noticed he shakes at times and has some strange breathing that isn't frequent. I alerted the chief matron who requested his blood sugar be checked. It was very low and doctor was informed. B4 then, hubby has been told to get glucose but when the doc came , he did some calculations and set up intravenous drip/ saline water. Some drip were also put in his mouth . Doc also noticed he had elevated temp and hubby had to put on the aircon (he is so aircon averse) Since then baby has been calm . He is sleeping at the moment though he hiccups at times. He is still on the drip.

I have been told to increase my tea and water intake for the BM.
It is well.

Something like this was discussed on page 1729 - 1731. Though it was more of been dry and not about not been fan of it.

Birth alert.
My baby boy arrived early this morning at 3:30am weighing 3.2kg with a small cut.
Bs later. The induction no be here. I went to heaven and came back. Membrane ruptured at 2cm , baby passed meconium and as such I was not allowed to move around as fetal heart rate was actively being monitored for distress.

2: Obesity?? Are you or hubby on the chubby side? What was her birth weight? My son is already wearing size 3 cos size 2 is tight on him and we're experiencing explosive poop and size 2 can't hold it.
3: When my son had tiny rashes, I stopped everything I was using and allowed his skin to breathe. Bathe him and didn't apply ori or anything.

spices a more let her be, the tiptoe thing my son did it when he first started walking and I was concerned (bloody Dr. Google), till I got to his creche one day and his 2 best friends were doing the same, apparently it was a coo keed thing at the time, they've moved on to other weird habits like belly button twiddling now

As for walking, when you have an child that hit all milestones like magic, the ones that come slowly can affect you. My son's creche nanny always says God has a way of humbling children that think they are sharp .

Your little one doesn't need water till he starts taking solids .... as the water fills up the space that should contain good and slows down weight gain

As for letting him take NAN you could start by expressing the breastmill and mixing it with formulae...
You could start at 3parts breast milk with one part formulae then u gradually increase the formulae part when he's used to it....

Hopefully he will take it...

thanks alot sweet mommas in da house for your response on Aju Mbaise. the question now is how to get the original. I base at Owerri.
Another question is what and what do I eat to make my breast produce enough milk for my baby cos it seems like she is never satisfied.
