u can make a list of feeding time with the instructions on what to feed at what time(s) and give to them every morning when u drop her off.
I dont do that cos my dd started creche at 3 months, so her nanny has gotten used to her feeding schedule, but i think rofemiguwa was doing that when her dd started creche and it went quite well
Thanks dear, I'm grateful

not a fan of cold noodles, but if she can stomach cold noodles, then y not?
Please the feeding schedule/time, do you write it in a paper or what?
They resume 7:30am & close 2:30pm but you can request for extra lesson and my daughter eats 4/5 times in a day(mainly cereals) depending on my mood.

Since she is a picky eater, i guess you should try and use saturday and sunday to try new food for her.

What about oat? Have you tried that out?
Mango nkor?
Pawpaw?
Bread.(slice bread, those soft ones)
Noddles without spicy but you add pinch of pepper, ginger, fish, spring onion and small oil?
Okro with soft swallow nkor? Have you tried that? let me know sup
She loves mango, agbalumo, apple
Have not tried oats
Loves agege bread
Loves noodles with carrot but without fried egg inside
Ogbono and okro is war.

But can I pack noodles, what if it turns cold.

Haa! It is well with your lo good you've emptied the fridge, that's one thing about tropical fruits always best to eat them with caution during pregnancy, hope you didn't eat it with the skin? All I've seen eat it in my village always peels off the skin.
I honestly can't stand the bitter taste, but I like to perceive the scent.

Even Ona (bush yam) is bitter to me undecided
Good morning to you too.
No, the skin was bitter with black spots. Thanks dear, I even have soursop and German mango(it also have a wonderful scent) in the fridge but I'm scared of eating it.

I thought ji ona is for diabetic people, the yam is naturally bitter.

The smell is divine but the taste is lipsrsealed I have no idea if a pregnant woman can eat it though.
It is sweet but have a bitter taste few mins after eating it.

My experience yesterday.
After eating 5 yesterday, 3 at once and 2 later in the evening. I went to the loo to urinate, wiped and saw a clear M. Plug, it was plenty(sorry TMI). No contraction, Google said is normal. Told my children to finish the remaining one, cleaned the fridge thoroughly so I won't perceive anything again, drank plenty water and prayed for God's protection over my bun. Longer-throat won't kill me at all, biko July still far. My bun is kicking wella.

Good morning

You can let her take the rice , macaroni with little stew , then for the boiled egg, I put it as a whole with the shell intact( separately) as I noticed it gets spoilt if done otherwise. It is peeled and ate at school.

Just saw that she doesn't like egg, you can put mashed Titus (with every bone removed please) for her and if she likes bread, you can put some peanut butter in between her slices.

We use the Haers flask for food and it keeps their food hot till when evening.
She takes egg but must be boiled but no fried egg or egg sauce.

Thanks dear

enque:
if u r putting fruits, dont cut them up. put them whole, then when she is ready, the nanny/teacher preps the fruit for her.
Thanks dear.

You
I know the fruit quiet alright it's called egili in Igala language,I personally don't think it's bad for pregnant women because my people use the seed as a good substitute for ogbono soup,In my village people eat it a lot and it's not acidic but I am not a nurse neither am I a doctor just a Ftm like you too but I comment my reserve for our sabymamas.Just called my mother in law on your behalf and she says it's good even in pregnancy.please don't panic,God will see us through.
God bless you plenty dear

We prefer finger foods so we can feed ourselves, so I pack bread and butter/ toasted bread, fried plantain/ boiled plantain and stew, biscuits, fruits ( banana, apple and plum for now), , they love swallow so yes I put semo/ amala and ogbono for them sometimes and fill their flask with August secret nutty meal. I interchange these.

Don't worry, when she sees other kids eating, she might become less selective as time go on and eat well. We are 17 months old.

Since she prefers cereals , get those covered plastics and put her cereal/ milk in diff plates and an extra plate( for her to mix up and eat in) then a small flask for warm water. Her teacher or nanny should help out I assume.
She prefer plain spag/rice/macaroni with little stew or ofe akwu anything jollof is no no or cry till we finish it. She don't like ogbono but Ora soup, fried plantain, cooked egg, don't like egg sauce. I already have the covered plastics.

What type of food flask is good?

Amen and thanks

Good morning mamas, there's this fruit called ugili/ugiri(the back and inside is edible, the seed is dried and used for ogbono) in Igbo and according to Google is called oro in Yoruba and African Bush mango in English. Hubby came back with lots of fruits yesterday and the only thing my nose perceived was the ugiri and the last time I ate it was in my Jss2.

Please help me, is it good for pregnant women cos I'm tired of opening my fridge just to inhale it. I need to eat it too

Thanks mama. It is umblical hernia. Doctor didn't say anything about pushing. He just examined her and said she has hernia but it is nothing to worry about cos it will go when he's 4.
My daughter's own was very big before, she'll even touch it and tell me biggi biggi, is even going in now.
As far as there's no pain or discomfort, don't worry it'll go.

I'm just scared of treating infection in my first tri. I fear of any possible adverse effect on my child. Thanks anyways, will muster courage n go to hospital
Yeast infection is normal in pregnancy but can cause miscarriage. Remember your body is going through hormonal changes now that you're pregnant. Your doctor might give you a suppository or cream for it but you can try this home therapy:

Reduce sugary stuff(yeast feeds on sugar)
Wear loose cotton pants. If possible don't wear pant at home even at night, allow that place to breathe.
Always wash your hp after peeing or wipe from front to back.
You can try the garlic suppository method(Google it)
Make sure your DH is treating it
Don't douche please
You can do sitz bath if you feel uncomfortable.

Gud evening mamas. Anyone has experience this? Thanks
Umbilical hernia? It'll go on its own as far as it can be pushed inside and soft/no discomfort when touched.
