While caring for our babies , its mama's turn.my hair that was full during pregnancy is falling out seriously. Like 2 handfuls removed while washing yesterday and all edges in front all removing.is it pregnancy hormones dt is responsible or after pregnancy hormones. Pimples won't leave ma face o. All my fresh an spot free face during pregnancy has become sometin else to d extent dt it's d first tin people talk and wen they see me. I don't care anymore sha.

my sister I thought I was the only one ooo, I was scared to the extent that I almost cried abi is it not people with cancer that looses hair (too much american film lol) my husband was just laughing.

pls share ur remedy when u finally find one cos I cut my hair and its still falling off, its so bad that when I pull lightly, 20 strands will follow!

My lo never really accepted formula. The same goes for full cream milk.

She's still being breast-fed though.

breastmilk is milk too, so not to worry

I've been having problem with my phone, i even borrow phone now to browse, just wanna let you know your explanation of the manual pump was very useful, i Just got tired of pumping cause it seems that pump is too hard for my hand. Now im back to hand pumping, very fast, i get like 5oz in 10minutes.

as for the sucking I'll advise you leave her, she will stop when she's ready, my son suddenly stopped at about3month.

There is no set amount, it all depends on the age of the child, consistency of the poo and what is generally considered as normal for your child.

To me, I think unusual watery/mucus poo like 4-5 times a day calls for concern.

The most important first aid here is ORS! keep the baby hydrated, if the baby is not taking it, use sterilized syringe/ dropper to help out.

To all mamas: Read thru your baby immunization card to see his to treat diarrhea, and always consult your Dr before things get out of hand.

Pls o wonderful mamas, if ur baby is purging, don't allow anyone to tell u is teething o. Do the needful by taking your baby to the hospital for proper treatment.
My neighbour's sister just lost her baby due to diarrhea.

God will give us the wisdom to be able to take care of these babies.

pls ooo how many poo per day is too much.

I think, u can give her the newborn diapers, but I don't think she might need those formula now, so give to someone that has like 5-9 months old baby.

I don't think she will be offended. There is a lady in my church that we hardly talk, when she gave birth, I sent her some OK stuff via her husband and I later discovered that she doesn't dress well for the baby when they later resumed church. So, I packed my boy's used clothes and baby shoes. I sat with her on the day I wanted to give her the stuffs, played with the baby and after the service, I just handed the pack over to her, she was very greatful. To my surprise, for the past 3 weeks that I gave her those stuffs, she has been wearing the clothes for the baby to church and now, we sit together in every service. She really appreciate those things and that has made me decided to give her more things.

We are best of friends now. So, do your own part and u will be surprised she will appreciate it.

my son is scared of passing out stool. he has been been holding it in for like three weeks now, i had to pull it out of his bombom using my hands and he always squint in pain and walk around in circles. I gave lots of fruit and even administer grip water but to no avail. pls mama's in the house come to my aid ooooo. Tenks to all.

i dnt know how old your baby is but it as happened to my DS, I can't say this is exactly what worked but I drank water religiously as we are EBF, even at midnight I wake up to drink water

I've searched for rota vaccine all over ikorodu no luck, I went to lasuth too no luck, i went to reddington hospital at Ikeja they said 15k I jejely carry my baby comot.

pls who knows any hospital closer to ikorodu or ketu where I can get t this vaccine very quick as hes almost 12weeks already.

@iomoge2, how do I get to kozito hospital, though its far but I'm considering it, thanks

Weldone Mama. don't get fed up my dear you have tried all the above listed food but have you tried vegetables and fruits? Eat lot of watermelon and take plenty of water or liquid. I will also advise that you stop bread and amala for now.


Note: ebfing means no water or anything but strictly on bm for 6mnths. Don't get tired.

thank you, I eat vegetable soup once in a while but not fruits, I will make it a habit now

Florena, tired kee, don't be oh, happens to my Ds too although paediatrician said no cause for alarm, I made my research and found out that some foods like wheat, some type of milk taken by d mom causes conspitation, so take more water, pineapple, reduce chocolate, reduce cabin biscuits, take better pap with liquid full creme milk and check again. About inserting, pls try not to do it often so that he won't be waiting for you when poo is hard

me I knw I did ebfoo but I gave water once in a while,I also gave orange juice weekly and our constipation ish disappeared.do what is best for us child,hard poop is painful for an adult let alone an infant.

my ds poops very hard poo, the way he grunts whenever he wants to poo is heartbreaking. sometimes he will push and push the poo will not come out, there was a time I was inserting my pinky finger in his anus with olive oil but I just have to stop, he as to be doing his business himself.

I eat all normal food, rice beans bread demo amala EBA pap etc, what could be causing this?

some people say its because he's not taking water but I'm I the only mother doing ebf? I'm fed up.

mamas how much do I need to cover my baby, he will be 2months next week. my Mil will not allow us to open window or on fan, she said his body still as "holes" (I am not understanding) and this boy is all sweaty especially at midnight. your input is needed pls.

also he didn't take the rota vaccine at 6weeks, can he take it at 10 weeks? and does anyone know any hospital close to ketu or ikorodu where it can be administered.

I know exclusively breastfed babies can go 5days but is this not too much!

though he urinates and fart well, (those type of continuous farting )
I've taken fruits, I massage his tommy with warm water, I've also drip warm water in his anus. he does not seem to be in pain too

what else can I do?

Hello Mamas, went for antenatal today and baby is presenting breech. I've chosen not to worry, we still have 6 to 8 weeks to turn around.
