Aim07 and florena dats how a friend lost her baby last month. She was in labour, went to the hospital was asked to go home and come back later only for "dem say people " to refer her to one trado birth centre where the woman assured her that the baby will rush out after taking one concoction like dat. The baby did rush out but the placenta refused to rush out, she was eventually taken bk to the hospital and the baby died from distress.

I've never likeed the idea of traditional medicine, my reason being that what scan will easily detect within a few minute, Iya alagbo might not see it in a year. Although it works well for some people. May God save us.

When I first got pregnant my mom and mil almost killed me with their traditional beliefs. As if its the only way that works. After so many arguments I decided to do their wish, hubby took me to one ijaw woman's place.
first things was her place was very dirty and then I laid on the mat and she started massaging my tommy as if she was looking for something. I was so scared that I told hubby that the woman has broken my baby's head. Then she gave me powder to swallow with water, only God knows what it was that day.........
After we got home I started feeling serious abdominal pain which was the result of d massage. I told Dh that I'm never going back to that place and since then we've been lying to our moms that I'm still going.

Mamas pls let's be very conscious of our baby's movement, especially in 3rd trimester. CS is not a bad thing at all.

My own bombom bone is not mine again I swear, nah every minute he dey lock and I now feel lo very close to my vjay, the pressure there as increased greatly. Sitting with wide opened legs is no longer helping matters.

The only feeling I'm having is a pull of muscle in my vaginas, wen I walk I feel like I'm stepping on a muscle in my vjay.

Its been stress free so far but i suddenly became restless and weak yesterday, i feel worse today...

Let me rant small!!!
So I went to the hospital to check my pcv level and do malaria test, dats how the matron started asking me:
"Have you seen water"
"What about blood?"
Aaaannn! Who send ham message?
The woman said she does not believe in scan dat I'm already in my birthperiod, she said I should bring my hospital bag the next day to avoid rushing!
Till now I've not gone back to collect my result self, we will see at the antenatal class in two weeks by God's grace. Awon alakoba!

Nothing is wrong with you my sister, that's what dh and I call "locking" you won't be able to move from dat position until it unlocks. Weneva I stay in a spot for too long, dh will just laugh and say "otu ti lock"
Just stay wherever u are and allow it to unlock itself.

I have dis clearline student HMO idcard from school, I just want to know how I can use it. Which hospitals accepts it and the services it covers.

Zoe never responds to sugar or cold water.
Cook give me unbearable heartburn n fibriods pain.
Infact i had rest from fibriods pain d very day i didnt take a bottle of soft drink again.

The major kicks i feel is when i lay on my left n she is kicking away the fibriod.... like its disturbing her.
She kicks n digs till i change position b4 she becomes calmer.

Dunno again joor....

My baby as been breeched since conception and it has not been funny these days, the way he hooks his leg to one side of my lower abdomen sometimes I want to scream. Zoé is a gentle baby!

Hello mamas in the house, I'm having something like a muscle pull in my vjay, I don't know how to describe it, weneva Lo moves I feel it in my vjay, pls Wat could be happening there?
So my semester exam is from October 10 to 21, eeee, edd is Nov. 4, I pray baby bakes very well and not rush ooo, make labour no go hold person for inside exam hall.

I feel it's just part of normal symptoms as d Preg I advancing.Got cerclage in too, so am praying everything keeps going on well till it is removed. Wishing all prego mamas out there a safe delivery and grace to carry baby to full term as we look forward to d edd.

Sô I Google-d soft spot on babies' head and I just discovered it's called Fontanelles and very normal. The posterior one will close early say 6weeks, while the anterior one takes almost a year to 18months.

Yoruba mothers call it "Oka" and they claim eating plantain while pregnant is the main cause, SMH! And to think that i stopped eating plantain
