RomanceRe: 3 Things Women Do When They Are Cheating by flyingpig: 11:15pm On May 19, 2020
OmoAlakija:
You forgot to mention her being so private with her phone , or fixing nails and lashes when y'all not planning on going out and a few hours later , she gives you excuses that her mother is sick or someone died in their house ? So she can go out with other men

You forgot to mention how disrespectful she might start becoming

You forgot to mention how her timing no longer adds up , or when she disappear for hours ?

I've been there before and its so painful when the person u loved the most and trusted the most has been going out with other men behind your back and she acts so sweet to you , always swearing to you that she'll never cheat even when you don't ask her , giving men head..

I forgave her and we moved on , she's changed ever since then but guess what ? She woke the devil in me coz I've screwed over 12 girls after she cheated so I'm also pretending to be real smiley now she's just noting but a sex object , my love playing role is A +
The bolded is a common feature; getting disrespectful.

Then let me add mine, they'll be cold. No vibe as before, more of brisk answers or cold attitude in your presence.

The sight of you doesn't spark them again.

But mind you THEY'LL NEVER ACCEPT THEY'RE CHEATING. EVEN IF JESUS COMES.

Physician Assistance is for everyone. The catch is that you will not be able to practice outside the US. It was a program specially created to suit the needs of American hospitals and clinics since the last 70 years now.

You do not have to marry a citizen to be a citizen. Even joining the military (reserve), automatically gets you citizenship within one year. All you do is come in once a month for your fitness check as a reserve and the military pays 100% of school fees plus expenses tied to your education. However, to join the military is only for people with Green Card (Permanent Residence); people who came with immigrant visa. You can still get work permit with student visa since you will be in the medical sector. Your employer can sponsor your green card if they find you valuable or if your could convince them that you are valuable to them. Once you have Green Card, you are free to bring whomever you want as long as they are family.

You are married. Respect your marriage. Don't throw away your marriage for a woman here who would not respect you. Marrying here for the papers is A BAD IDEA. You will be foot mat for your American wife. Besides, your wife has been there for you. There is no need to discard her to come here.

Yes, you can bring your wife with you if you could show that you can support you two here. I know an Iranian woman I did a summer research with when I was going to UTSA. She came with her husband on a student visa. They were both doing their PHDs there. They had work permits, although they had student visas.

In fact, I know a Nigerian girl that came with student visa. She did a two year PT degree. And now, she is trying to complete the remaining two years in a university and get a Bachelor's degree. She has work permit that lets her work full time. She lives comfortably and she makes a lot of money monthly as a medical professional.

Finally, any advice that I give or someone else gives you won't do much because it is the interviewer that will decide at the end. They are quite strict over there. I believe that having a wife should be able to give you advantage because they will see that as an incentive to come back after school. Single people finding it hard because they know people like that intend to stay after school.

If you ask me though, I'd say your chances of coming here is slim given the current hard stance to immigration and the leadership at federal level. Your chance is quite high with Australia. My kinsman from village kindred and friend at FUTO left for Australia 7 months ago. He is working two jobs now, while doing Masters in IT. You may want to consider great options before you give your money freely to the embassy.

I tell you this because when I got rejected my third time at the embassy in Victorian Island Lagos, it was not because I did not qualify. The young American said everything is in order, and he was going to tell me my visa will be mailed to a DHL. However, his supervisor walked in. He whispered something in the man's ears. When he left, the young interviewer's attitude changed. He even lost his smile. He denied my papers. You have to understand the odds are great agains
BlindedIrony,

I must commend your writing prowess, along the line I flow with your grammar and miss the message, however I retrace my steps. Well-done. But, I have few clarifications to make.

1. I'm in my 4th year at pharmacy and not a graduate, I will still graduate late next year. I'm only asking even before I graduate because I'm a man who lives on far foresight, even though circumstances may re-align the future due to emerging situations, but if status quo remain the same, they would play out. That is only why I'm making such enquiries before hand.

2. I'm not married. It's just a wonderful lady who have helped me through school all the while as I faced challenges from my family back home, but she expects marriage.

3. I've learnt so much from you. And i must you're an invaluable asset. This is a wild request that I would make, considering I get the feels you are in the Health line and wouldn't have time to entertain what I would like to request from you. But if you might accept, please I would like us to be friends. I mean distant close friends just uh ocassionally I greet you and maintain closeness. I wouldn't be too sure we can keep in line in the future when i would need your invaluable help which is why I'd just like to have you on my whatsapp on a standby for future sake. Don't know if I can kindly PM you, Sir?

4. May God bless you.

University of port Harcourt teaching hospital shouldn't charge much for consultation. Is it not at most N500 for hospital card, after some waits, you'll be assigned a doctor?

You can see a doctor with just 1k. With the list of drugs given to you to buy, you can cost it, find out the price and borrow money, then get it.

Why not do this

Why are you subjecting yourself to the advice of non-professionals.

You went to a Pharmacy and drained yourself of hard currencies.

Please go see a doctor, i know wike is regulating movement but find your way to that place because there is where you'll get help from exerts and professionals.

If you rely on advice from nairalanders, you'll end up wasting more money on "let me try this one if it will work, let me try that other drug, etc".

Oga, no one needs your money (with all due respect). Also, help here cannot be sort by offering money, especially to a virtual person. This is how people get duped. I would not want that for you.

To your questions of coming here, it is hard to start working in all the 50 states as a foreign medical graduate ( as a Anesthiologist, MD, DO, Pharmacist). This is because the US is set up in such a way that medical professionals that want to work in their medical sector, have to pass through their qualifications of their certificates and licensure. They are very strict with international medical graduates. Even medical doctors from other developed nations can not work here without passing through the US medical schools and getting license again to get license to practice. This is because THERE ARE SO MANY RULES AND STANDARDS when it comes to the medical sector here.

Take for instance, Nigerian medical schools and some other developed countries let students enter directly after senior highschool graduation. Here, you must have a Bachelor's degree to get into medical school. Not just only Bachelor's degree, but also take some classes that are mandatory. You are allowed to take the MCAT after you have met these requirements. Once accepted, you are going to go through four years of medical schools (two years in class learning, two years clinical rotations at hospitals). Then, you graduate from Medical school. AND YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PRACTICE until after you have completed residence (which is another 2 to 6 years depending on your specialty). For instance, an Orthopedic surgeon may spend 12 years in school (medical school and residence), not including his 4 years Bachelor's degree program. That's why surgeons here make about $350,000 to $750,000 a year depending on specialty and skills. grin

Now as for Pharmaceutical colleges, you need a Bachelor's degree too be,fore you go into the program. However, some colleges offer classes where you can only do two years in a regular college before you transfer directly to the Pharmaceutical school. It will take about 4 years to finish the program (It depends on the state or college. Each state have their own license rules. However, education and training requirements are always in the same Federal standards so anyone can work in any state they choose). The pharmacy school here and the one in Nigeria is not the same or equivalent. The Nigerian idea of the pharmacy here is what Americans called PharmTech. It is a two year degree training. After which you take licensure exam to be able to work. NB: The main Pharmacy program takes time, and you earn Doctor of Pharmacy after graduation. Starting salary is around $110,000 to $150,000; about $50-something per hour. Compared to a PharmTech who makes about $23 per hour or $30,000 to $42,000 range annually.

Also, everything here has a License and you have to take an exam before you are able to work in a field. Even a welding education needs a license to practice after graduation. I observe that this is to maintain standards. When you fail to maintain standards, your license can also be taken away regardless of how rich, skillful or famous you are. This is why your Nigerian pharmacy degree will not work here. Also, it has nothing to do with your being Nigerian. It is the same for any other international professional. It is about different system of standards.

My advice for you would be to come and do Physician Assistance program here since you already have a degree. It is a two year masters degree program. You go to medical school for two years. The only difference between you and a medical doctor is that an MD did four years and you did two. Also, you are licensed to operate under an MD supervision. Supervision doesn't mean the MD will be watching all the time. It means you consult with an MD in decision making. You are licensed to diagnose illnesses, prescribe medicines and perform minor surgeries (minor surgeries are only under a surgeon supervision). Starting salary is $90,000 a year. After tax, you will take home about $78,000. Not bad!

I'll give you a tip! It is this: Even with student visas, your chances of being employed by a hospital who will sponsor you to live here after graduation is high as a medical professional. If you are doctor (Anesthesiologist or Doctor of Medicine), THE COUNTRY WILL DEFINITELY TRY TO RETAIN YOU. This is because you are very valuable member of the society. Most people do not know that. That's free of charge from me grin

Let me know if you have more questions. It may take me time to reply, but I promise to reply to them when I get a chance to come online here. Good luck, man!
1. At the bolded, that's a student VISA right?

2. If applying for Physician assistance programme, and I'm married here in Nigeria to a Nigerian wife, will it increase my chances of having my student VISA approved? Because I have strong home ties.

3. While doing the physician assistance programme as a married person, can I in the long run obtain green card while studying and working? Especially without having to marry a USA citizen.

4. If I bear children here in Nigeria before obtaining the supposed USA green card from my employer or school, will they be able to obtain citizenship as well, even though they were born before their father became citizens.

5. Having obtained green card, can I now go on to run an MD programme, supported by student loans since I'm a citizen? I understand it's very long years. But the toughest roads are the most rewarding.

6. Someone advised I should come there as single, while applying for a Masters degree programme, run it, work, marry a citizen, get green card and run my MD program. But I have a woman here who has really tried for me and she's looking forward we get married. Wouldn't want to hurt her by cutting it off after many years, so that's why I'm trying to access that other route I had been listing.

7. Thanks very much for your deep insight and effort to enlighten me. I'm sorry for talking about money. I understand now Americans don't like bribery. I'm deeply sorry. Thanks once again. God bless you.

Bro, is being married to a Nigerian woman increase chances of my masters degree VISA being approved, since that is strong connection to home ties?

Someone wants to pursue masters degree in USA and doesn't know if to wed his partner before he leaves or not.

If it'll improve his chances of MSc student VISA being approved, he will marry.

I will not give all the information because this is a public forum and I want to remain anonymous. But before I left Nigeria, I saved my NYSC money every month and managed. I told my friends I wanted to travel, they laughed at me. But I was determined. I got international passport and just kept it, even though I had no means. Getting that Nigerian passport was my motivation every day.

I used my NYSC money to apply to schools. I applied to 27 schools, got rejected by all of them. My money finished. My friends said I was crazy but I didn’t give up. I used the last money I had to apply to another University but I didn’t give it any hope. I didn’t hear from them.

My spirit just told me to send the school an email about my application. I did and they replied. They said they offered me admission and sent me a letter since 3 months ago. And the school was about to resume. Turns out my letter was in Nipost. Stupid people threw it one corner.
I went to Nipost and begged them to look for it, gave the man money. He eventually found it after 2 weeks. Then it was late. I didn’t have money to travel anyway.

I emailed the school and they agreed to move my admission to the next semester. I was happy. Then I started hustling for money and selling property and praying. One rich Igbo man I used to greet and wash his car sometimes, one day he shook my hand and gave me money. I opened it and it was $600. I thought I was dreaming or he made mistake. But it was true. I knew it was God at work.

I eventually got enough money, went for interview, I didn’t know anything or anybody in Germany. Did all my research online every night. I was buying recharge card just solely for research. I did interview and kept hoping.
I was in Ikeja under bridge eating egg roll and drinking coke, when I got the message from German embassy to come with travel insurance. I knew it was visa. All the while, I didn’t tell anybody. I kept it all to myself.

I went on Facebook and joined apartment groups for people in Germany and found a room with some German guys before I left Nigeria. I went shopping, got my ticket. First time traveling abroad, I was sweating like Jackie. I changed my money at the airport. Before I boarded the plane, I went to toilet to sh*t out everything about Nigeria.

I arrived Dubai and took another flight to Frankfurt. Germany was so cold. I didn’t even know what train looked like or how to read signs. But thanks to my Android phone, google maps and translate showed me everything. I asked some people about the train and went to my city.

I used google maps to locate the flat and rang the bell. Met the German guys and they showed me my room. They said I’ll stay for 3 days then they’ll decide if they like me as a flat mate or not. They later liked me and I lived with them. They helped me with everything about registration, bank account, insurance, transport, they taught me everything. They even drove me to buy things for my room. I met their friends as well.
They took me to the stadium for the first time in my life, being in a stadium watching a match live.

I eventually went to my school and my life started from there. I made lots of mistakes and got lost many times in Germany. I suffered o. People used me and threw me out of their house. Even Nigerians. Even the Nigerian church I was attending, they helped me but they almost destroyed me.
Na here we dey today and the rest is history.
I'm sorry for all you went through and grateful to God you found your way around. Some people get stuck in the bottom once they go down.

But, don't see this as me intruding into yoir personal life. Might you share lessons drawn from your sad experiences I highlighted?

Some of us don't deserve to make similar mistakes, don't you think?

Thanks

Well, the UN says over 70% of illegal firearms in West Africa are in Nigeria.
Tell that to our politicians who during election season, distribute firearms to their thugs for armed intimidation of opponents.

Also, tell that to our security chiefs who don't secure our borders and let armed foreigners invade the country, especially from the North East and North West axis.

Summarily, it is our elites (who ensure we don't live in peace, do farm work and sleep peacefully at nights) that are responsible for sponsoring these undertakers and allowing them into our country.

They don't care because they can secure their households, but they don't let us secure ours by appropriate use of firearms.

That deep sea port has long been a political project, ever since the days of Akpabio.

Today, nothing tangible has been done about it.

The money Udom has spent on buying about five airplanes for the state-owned airline is enough to raise the seaport to a level that can easily be completed.

It will keep remaining a political tool like I said.

In this phase of dwindling oil revenues is when you want to build an oil city.

With which money exactly?

After this COVID-19 expect a wave of new electric cars. Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are springing up in Berlin and you're talking of Oil city.

Qatar, UAE, Canada, and Saudi Arabia all built their prosperous cities in the days of Oil boom during the 1970s and 80s. While your then military presidents were busy stashing the cash in sovereign wealth funds as personal property.

Any state today not investing in ICT and agriculture is towing the path of those former military presidents.

FamilyRe: How Can I Tell What My Husband Is Hiding From Me? by flyingpig: 4:03pm On May 16, 2020
Tasha7:
Hello, I am a black woman born and raised in North America and married to an Igbo man. We have been in a long distance relationship for the majority of our relationship. We got married almost 2 years ago while still long distance and he recently immigrated to Canada in Jan 2020 under the spousal sponsorship. He has a wonderful bond with my mother and sisters. (my father has passed). I have met his family and we get along very well.

Everything was going well until I was looking up something in the search history of the laptop we both share and stumbled across emails he had recently accessed. Please note, I could not read the email itself, I could only see the subject lines in the search history. I will attach pictures if possible. It wasn't a normal email account like yahoo or Gmail. It was from a website called: Roundcube webmail. I had never heard of it before. Anyway, there were a bunch of emails forwarded from a hotel in Istanbul where people were being asked to pay their outstanding hotel bill. In addition to that, there were emails to 2 different women (named Wendy and Elizabeth) with the subjects: re: Thank you for written, re: back from customs baby, re: I am so happy our paths have crossed re: I am writing you with much sadness in my heart etc. I will try to attach the screens hots I took.

Lastly, within the same search history, my husband seemed to have been looking up songs like: 'what songs make a woman feel confident about herself' and 'what if I never get over you', and 'songs that make a woman feel beautiful'.

I confronted my husband that same night. It was 2am. He was already sleeping. I woke him up bc I wanted to catch him off guard. His explanation was that his friend in Cyprus had a bad internet connection and asked him (my husband) to look up something in his friends email account. He insisted that he had no idea what his friend was up to, as it was none of his business. In the process of me confronting him, he grabbed the laptop from me and deleted the search history. I told him that was making him look real guilty and I started packing my things to leave. He pleaded and insisted it had nothing to do with him, it was his friends email account blah blah blah. I wanted to believe him but some things just didn't add up...like why was he looking up those songs if he was just checking his friends email for him? His only saving grace was that the subject lines were written with poor grammar and my husband has excellent English speaking and writing skills.

Fast forward a few weeks later, my husband left the bathroom to put out the garbage and accidentally left his phone in the bathroom playing music. This is significant because he has never parted from his phone from the day he arrived. He sleeps with his phone beside him. He showers and uses the bathroom with his phone beside him. When he cooks, he keeps his phone beside him. The day in question, I went into the bathroom and locked the door shortly after he left the bathroom. Side note: I only lock the door bc sometimes he jokingly sneaks up on me to scare me while I am in the shower, so to avoid being snuck up on, I sometimes lock the door. I digress. I commenced using the bathroom when I noticed that hubby left his phone on the side of the bathtub with Nigerian gospel music blasting. I was shocked! It was the first time he was separated from his phone! I didn't touch his phone and started using the bathroom. Within 15 seconds, my husband started knocking on the door saying he really needed to use the bathroom and wanted me to open the door. He was saying he really needed to pee. I asked him to hold a minute, because I was on the toilet. He said he didn't believe me and then things escalated from there. He started pounding really hard on the bathroom door, demanding that I open the door because he really needed to pee. He was eventually pounding so hard and yelling to the point where he started to lose his voice! I was freaked out! I told him to hold on and I would be done in a minute! But he wouldn't listen and eventually broke open the bathroom door by force...there is literally a large crack down the bathroom door now. I was shocked. Beyond words. Once he broke down the door, he quickly did a scan of the bathroom and saw his cellphone was right where he left it. I didn't touch it. Then he was more calm. He then reiterated that he really needed to pee and went into the shower, pulled the curtain and turned on the water.

I started freaking out. I started yelling telling him that he was a liar and if there was any doubt in my mind he was hiding something, I need not doubt it anymore! He broke down the bathroom door NOT because he really nedded to pee, but because he was so terrified I was going to snoop through his phone! Of course he denied it. He was saying that if that was the case, the first thing he would have done is grab his phone. I responded saying that he's not stupid, if he grabbed his phone first, it would have made him look guilty. After that blow up, we stopped talking to each other for days...

And here I am today. If anyone could provide me insight into what is going on, I would be so appreciative. What is this hotel stuff and what are these msgs to multiple women? I am thinking he may be involved in a 419 scam or his friend is a yahoo boy....but why is he using such poor grammar when he speaks and writes excellent English?

I am so stressed over all of this that it is literally consuming my every thought. My husband only denies everything and gets defensive then ignores me if I keep pushing for answers. Outside of this incident he is incredibly loving and affectionate and treats my mother so well. He cares so much about what she thinks of him.

I have turned to this forum with the hopes that someone would have more insight into what is going on. Thank you so much to anyone who has taken the time to read this very long post and respond. I truly appreciate it.

He said that future projections showed a decline in the lucrative aspect of pharmacy because it was gradually becoming automated. People won't need a pharmacist in the future to fill out prescription and all that stuff. They can just do that online and in a few hours or days, their prescription arrives at their doorstep.

Pharmacy used to be a very high paying job but from what I was told, automation might slowly kill that industry. But please research this for yourself.

Kaiser Permanente is one of the biggest healthcare delivery giants here and people subscribed to Kaiser can easily refill their meds online and have it delivered to their doorsteps. This process just started but it is already widespread now.
I pm'd you, please respond to my PM so i don't get to derail this beautiful thread of yours.
