If PDP were a truly serious party, what they really should do is boycott the coming elections.

Next Level things. |
SW don reject the Atiku project. Oyo is on lockdown for PMB.Last week the Oyo governor's wife held a rally at the one of Ibadan city's stadiums for Buhari and the crowd from that one alone beat Atiku/PDP own,not to talk of this one.
|
Akiara:Devil punish you there. Upon all the rented crowd Atifku brought into Ibadan from all across the SW zone, his crowd still could not even measure up to the one the wife of the governor held at one of the ibadan city stadiums last week, let alone this one. You better Bleep off my mention b4 I swear for you, Omo yyibo morafocka. SW has rejected you fools, better get that into you akpu brain. @BeautifulMind2: Speak for yourself abeg. You have always been a well-known 'anywhere-belle-face' hungry lowlife whose only means of earning a living is doing boy-boy work for politicians. We all know say na hunger wey nearly kill you after Obiano fired your triffling ass that led you to joining the Atiku team. I pity what will become of you after Atiku loses next month. You better go and learn a skill/trade, or better still rent a shop at Onitsha and be selling something so you can free your family from the hunger you referred to rather than slaving for politicians. Ode like you.

BeautifulMind2:Your eye go soon clear by mid February you dis ediotic shameless yoruba-hating ibo boy. Upon your hatred for Yoruba people you still dey expect them to vote for your equally bigotted Obi right? You see your useless life? |
BeautifulMind2:You should cover your head in shame because the Ibadan PDP pictures you showing are of PDP members/supporters from all over the SW and the current Ibadan crowd still beats it. Your propaganda don fail. |
I see she don begin wear lipstick again, after all her 'born-again' forming. |

Linda is a lying gossip that has been busted countlessly. Gossips are liars so no surprises.
|
You Obi people should let sleeping dogs lie. The damage has already been done. If his stats were so accurate he would not have deleted some tweets. Obi would be better off as a Chinese envoy than a Nigerian VP.

Anambralstson:Eziokwu?? You mean the well-to-do people of Enugu (the preeminent city in entire South East region, and former regional capital) will now have to go all the way to Owerri mall (which by the way is currently playing host to the only active standard Cinema in the entire SE) to enjoy standard cinematic experience because their own town could simply not keep it viable? Smh. In comparison, Ibadan city alone has 3 standard Cinemas -- FilmHouse has 2 (one at Samonda, and another at Dugbe Heritage Mall), and Viva Cinema at Palms Shopping mall. Abeokuta has a standard Cinema (OOPL Cinemas) at Presidential Boulevard, Oke Mosan. Viva Cinema will be opening another branch at Ota in January next year. FilmHouse has an active and functioning standard Cinema inside Akure Mall. There's ongoing construction of a mega-mall at Osogbo that will be hosting a Cinema. Oh well, maybe you SE people just don't fancy Cinema culture because Onitsha and the entire Anambra sef still never get standard Cinema up till today. Odiegwu o. |
ifyalways:In this Linda's instance, I guess it is safe to say "fame and money answereth all things". Apparently, Linda's fame and money has made her an exception to the general rule. Moral of this story: In this life, just have money and you will be treated as an exception. Sad but true. |
Anambralstson:You guys should thank Tayo Amusan's Persianas Group Nigeria for giving your region its best-looking standard Shopping mall. So sad that Enugu's population isn't vibrant enough to sustain the mall and the entire state's ONLY Cinema (according to Jason). ![]()

With this development, it is safe to say that APC will win the state again next year because the opposition is just too fragmented. |
Ekinematics:My point exactly. They like to claim to be the 'main' contributors to Lagos igr on account of their trading activities, which is based on falsehood. |
Ekinematics:That is not the crux of my point. My point was based on their false claim that their folks (mainly traders) are responsible for the bulk of IGR generated in other states. I don't know about your state, but in Lagos for instance, igbos are predominantly traders, and factually do not account for nearly as much of the state's IGR as they like to claim based on their trading activities, but rather the state's IGR comes mainly from PAY-AS-YOU-EARN (Paye). Below is an excerpt of the report where it clearly gives an breakdown of the figures: The revenues generated by the states came mainly from Pay-As-You-Earn Tax (N352.509 billion), Direct Assessment (N26.293 billion), Road Taxes (N11.681 billion), Other Taxes (N84.033 billion) and revenues from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (N104.972 billion). |
Ekinematics:There are two ways you can bust their lies anytime they claim to be the ones responsible for the taxes generated in other states due to their trading activities. (1)As the saying goes, 'You cant give what you don't have'. Their own states have some of the lowest igr in the country in spite of them having markets in every nook and cranny of their states. Obviously all the taxes their governors are taxing their traders in commercial and industrial centres like Onitsha, Aba, etc amounts to peanuts at the end of the day, which is reflected in the low igr from there. (2)The report clearly states that most of the igr (as much as 70%) comes from payee, which obviously is gotten from workers in the formal sectors who receive salaries (e.g oil companies workers, industry workers, insurance company workers, bankers, telecoms workers, civil servants working at ministries and parastatal, etc), and not informal sector petty traders who are fond of evading payee taxes by using the excuse of their workers being 'apprentices' to avoid remitting those taxes. If igr was dependent on petty trading, Onitsha and Aba would lead the way on the account of all the 2x2 shops that litter them as commercial centers. |
tunveskiy2:Those states will collapse without allocation. #Fact |

Oyo is on lockdown for PMB.
I thought you guys said Buhari will use stadium in Oyo, why using the same venue Atiku used?

Sad but true.
