Iamgrey5:
Awolowo was in prison locked down

Yet, some fools will rather believe he orchestred the coup.

Meanwhile, Azikwe and the premier of the East were surprisingly not touched by the coup that was supposed to make Awolowo the prime minister.
Are you minding them? According to their jaundiced logic, 'Tribalist' Awolowo (as they prefer to see/regard him) did not see Yoruba officers to supposedly plan a coup with, sotay na predominantly igbo officers he see to recruit to execute the coup abi? Foolishness of the highest order, I tell you.
PoliticsRe: Awolowo coup of January 1966 by FlyoruB: 11:54am On Jan 18, 2020
The repeated attempt to rewrite history and further disparage Awo's person by a section of the country is really disturbing though not surprising. From claiming that Awo committed suicide, amongst other absurdities, they are relentless in their efforts to foist their version of history that purports that an Awo that was serving time in prison masterminded a purge that forever changed Nigeria for the worse. The idea behind this is to shift blame from the original culprits of that infamous coup to an Awo that was in prison, can you just imagine?

When will these people quit their obsession with Yoruba leaders of renown? Before, una say Awo drank poison, now una dey try impose a cooked-up narrative that he orchestrated a coup while in confinement. They must really think Yoruba people gullible and stupid to fall for their crap. Rubbish and nonsense.

But I don't claim to be a 'man of God'. Oyedepo claims to be a man of God whom is expected to be an example and representation/embodiment of 'Christlike' conduct and behaviour. He ought to forgive and forget, especially where there's sign of repentance from the perpetrators of the crime. But from his utterances, he's obviously still embittered and 'carnal'.

PoliticsRe: South East Vs South West, Economic War Possibilities And Likely Scenarios by FlyoruB: 6:55pm On Jan 10, 2020
naptu2:
Lets have a little clarity here.

1) The first auto assembly plant in Nigeria was built by General Motors (Bedford) in Lagos in 1959.

2) The Federal Military Government wanted Nigeria to be a producer of automobiles so it went into joint venture businesses with some foreign auto makers and state governments. The foreign auto makers were the technical partners, the state governments provided land and got around 20% shares in the business, while the Federal Government was the majority shareholder.

3) These assembly plants were:

a) Peugeot Automobiles of Nigeria (PAN), Kaduna.

b) Volkswagen of Nigeria (VON), Lagos

c) Anambra Motor Manufacturing Company (ANAMMCO), Enugu (they made Mercedes Benz trucks and buses)

d) National Truck Manufacturing Company (NTM), Kano (they made Fiat trucks and tractors)

e) Leyland Motor Company, Ibadan (they made Leyland trucks and buses)

f) Steyr Motors Nigeria, Bauchi (they made tractors and infantry vehicles for the Nigerian Army).

4) President Obasanjo sold Federal Government shares in these companies.

5) The state governments still have their shares in these companies and they have been working hard to ensure that the companies return to full production.

6) Some of the companies that bought the Federal Government shares are not able to run these companies properly and so state governments have been working hard to ensure that other companies take over the plants. For example, Anambra and Enugu state governments have worked hard to ensure that Cletus Ibeto and others take over ANAMMCO, while El Rufai is doing everything possible to ensure that Dangote takes over PAN. Fashola worked hard to ensure that Stallion Motors revived VON and that BRT buses were assembled there.

7) No sane state government would then leave the assembly plant that it has shares in, especially if that assembly plant is producing, to go and buy products from its competitor.
Bros, ee need e jor. They should do their worst. Yorubas DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT owe Innoson any patronage. When it's not as if Innoson is the only indigenous car assembler/manufacturer in Nigeria. What should now happen to the Yoruba owned ones?? The Op and his likes can do their worst for all I care. He is merely exhibiting/playing the typical igbo blackmail script. Some of us that have engaged his likes on here are used to such antics. He's lucky say I don retire/drop my former belligerent garb, else I sabi treat him kind fuuckup. Oshisko.

the 16 million internet users and 23 voice users in lagos are not 100% yorubas , the point is a good number of them are igbos residing in lagos and who are busy giving leverage to the south west economy
Guy, even if Yorubas dash igbos 6-million out of the Lagos numbers from that data (which would be overly generous considering that even the largest SE state [Anambra] doesn't even have up to that many active phone subscribers), una go still fall far short. The duo of Oyo and Ogun alone have more combined subscribers than the entire SE put together. How do you explain that dude? Yorubas are not your problem. Quit the obsession in this new year for your own good.

The Igbos thought they are that many in SW as the media portrays them.
Na wash jare my brother. They overestimate their own importance, partly because half of the time Yorubas just don't care to refute their lies. But data after data keep exposing their delusions of grandeur.
PoliticsRe: South East Vs South West, Economic War Possibilities And Likely Scenarios by FlyoruB:
kettykings:
how many of the telco users in Lagos are actually yorubas you can make your points without resorting to insults, the possibility that not upto 30% uers of the telco services in Lagos , mowe, ibafor, are yorubas
You should have included the entire Ogun, Oyo, Osun, and Ondo to your hallucinations. That data was presented for a reason. You should first of all ask why your own people in the SE have such relatively abysmally low spending power in the igbo heartlands as the data shows, before trying to appropriate the numbers in other regions. Guy, you can't give what you don't have. Nothing on ground remotely suggests that Ogun and Oyo populations have any significant igbo component (if you disagree, present concrete evidence to the contrary). Until igbos can demonstrate the ability to attract significant population shift to their SE heartland, delusions like the ones you are exhibiting here will remain just that. undecided
PoliticsRe: South East Vs South West, Economic War Possibilities And Likely Scenarios by FlyoruB:
Smh. This Op just can't help sounding petty all the time. Every data available shows that the SW is where the country's major consumer market lies, so only a foolish igbo man would listen to the infantile crap the Op is uttering. If igbos boycott southwest, na demselves dem dey do.

The demand by the Iraqis that the u.s leave their country can be considered a major diplomatic coup by Tehran and a big slap to America, after spending trillions of dollars and wasting so many American lives, only to be disgracefully asked to leave by those they paid with American blood to 'liberate' huh American misadventures in the Middle East are always bound to fail from the very beginning.

My brother, to think that he has carried his bad belle into 2020. The guy is an enemy of progress. To him, Lagos must fail for others to thrive. And he lives and earns a living in the same Lagos, yet he consistently expresses ill wishes towards the state. Why the hatred?
TravelRe: Abuja Airport Is Emerging Nigeria's Aviation Hub by FlyoruB: 8:38pm On Jan 01, 2020
kettykings:
The recent Check in the Aviation industry has revealed that Nigeria's Aviation hub is about moving from Lagos to Abuja, Lagos lost its first position to Abuja in the first quarter of 2019 and maintained a very marginal difference in subsequent quarters , For vehicle regstration , Abuja has also emerged as the number 1 in terms of vehicle registration in Nigeria
You this guy, better go and find something else to do with your time. I recall some years back you were predicting doom for Lagos after a report showed that Abuja received more foreign investment, saying it was a sign that focus would shift from Lag to Abuja to Lagos' detriment. Well, your prediction of doom failed and Lagos has continued to thrive regardless (last released data showed that it received more Fdi than any other state including Abuja). You are one of those that try to blame Lagos for the underdevelopment of your region, yet when other parts of the country also show economic progress, you still see that as an opportunity to troll Lagos. Why are you like this??

If you listen to Kanu's assertion on Jubril then you will not rule it out cause we live in a country where anything can happen!!!

You know? They almost succeeded with Yaradua, may he rest in peace if not for Dora Akunyili, may she also rest in peace and other Nigerians who refused to key into their evil conspiracy and all that time, not a single word from a northerner!!!

So who is to say that they'll not try againhuh

Then federal character was respected, rule of law was followed so it flopped

But who will stop them now when they successfully killed the first obstacle and mistake they encountered in their first trialhuh (The Federal Character)

Incidences that happened even before this president took over is enough for you to insist that Buhari go for a DNA that if you are still with a brain
You always come across as a market woman. Just talking anyhow. That you actually believe the jibril crap is enough to call to question your mental faculty. Try and learn to get your points across with a few words instead of this crappy and lenghty nonsense you are fond of writing. Igbos are free thinkers

For instance, they CANNOT condole the rubbish we are condoling with Tinubu in Lagos State.

They call a spade a spade. If Tinubu was an Igbo man, the moment he became too ambitious to the detriment of the people or starts derailing people all because of his ambition, they would have called him to order!!!

Don't get it twisted, when Tinubu stood up to OBJ then and retain the governor seat in Lagos, I applauded him because we needed opposition in this country and it is indeed healthy for our democracy.

But other than that he has crossed the line way too many times and nobody except the Afenifere has consistently brought his errors before him.

This is simply because if there's anything Tinubu knows how to do, is BLACKMAILING and BRIBERY which he has done to many individual/institutions.

But when the igbos are not happy with a leadership style, they ALL go all out for his head

Don be upset with me, I am just stating the fact, you are obviously aware of.
Yinmu. Una be hypocrites. This coming from someone from a tribe that literally worships Nnmadi Kanu and turn to mumu over his delusions (like the jubril crap amongst other foolishness ). The same una allowed Ojukwu to lead igbos to a mass slaughter, yet you have the nerve to talk crap about others? How many of una don lick Kanu pisss today? Have small shame na.
