We have what we call igbo-uzugbe:
Which is central igbo and is mostly spoken by the aro people in abia state.
This central igbo when spoken, all igbo from different towns, clans and kindred can understand it. Igbo written literature, books and poems uses igbo-uzugbe.
U can't see any literature written wt anambra dialect or Owerri dialect.
So back to your question: umu-azi is not a general igbo dialect.
Every clan in igboland has their own dialect.
An abia state man may answer iheanyi
But imo state man will answer ifeanyi.
Ekene = anambra state
Ekele = abia state
Chinonyerum= anambra
Chinonyerem = abia.

So get it straight, there are variations in all languages.
Stop acting like a tribal bigot.

An hausa Muslim cannot worship in a Yoruba mosque.
And moreover Yoruba Muslims/youruba christain do inter-marry..
The hausas/fulanis see the Yoruba Muslims as converts..
So a Yoruba Muslim cannot lead prayers if there is a hausa Muslim in a praying ground. So you can see the diversity in the religion.
Same with christainity, an Anglican priest cannot conduct mass in a Catholic parish/cathedral.
But why christains are better is because
