Thanks brother
No other better way to have answered this question. That was helpful.

From your end, how do you treat shortages and excesses that lingers for a very long time.
Do you deduct from the shortages from staffs salary while uour receive in the excess into the system.

Or you make one sku knock out the other so as to balance the stock?
I'll wait a little bit before taking actions, say maybe a week. Especially for excesses, I noticed that some palettes are not complete and the excesses I detected balance up the incomplete palettes. In cases where I don't detect incomplete palettes or customers being short-loaded, the excesses are added back to the inventory. As for shortages, the production team will be penalized for an incomplete palette formation if it was discovered that a customer was not over-loaded.

Shortages and excesses are unavoidable when it comes to physical counting of inventory. Most of them occur due to the arrangement of the warehouse, product formation on pallets and the likes. Whenever I experience these irregularities, I just relax for some few minutes, check if my system entries are accurate and then recount. The differences after counting should be +-5, depending on the size of the inventory to be counted. Say for around 10,000pcs for a particular SKU, difference shouldn't be more than 2. All these are from my experiences working with warehouses. Hope I was able to help.

Career / Re: As A Single Guy How Do You Deal With Work Stress? by fmcjunior(m): 2:06pm On Oct 02, 2023
Most times it's very stressful especially when you're not the type that likes eating out but you always close late.

For the loneliness, I have some acquaintances from work that I pass time with whenever I want to. No strings attached though.

A particular one of them comes to cook for me once in a while.

Work is another hell of a story.

I just do the work to pay bills and keep the engine running until I find one I'm happy at. Or maybe start one for myself. That's the goal.

I sought for people's opinions about staying back to work in the southwest with an average pay or work in Gombe that pays up to twice than the southwest.
This is the link of the thread. And I'm grateful it was on the front page for some days.

https://www.nairaland.com/6806388/59k-job-south-west-140k

I'm currently working in Gombe and the place is kinda dope for the Northeast setting. Transportation and food prices is cheap. I was even surprised to see the state has a good road network.

But the heat is sometimes unbearable.

Overall I'll give the state a 6/10.

I love my work

So do you think meeting influential people will pave way for you?

So before deciding.

Just think about,

Job security.
Career progress.
Where do you see yourself in the future.
The cost of living in the area you want to reside.
A secure environment.
Any health risk posed by each job.
The working days time frame of both job, where you will have time for yourself instead of thinking about job every time.

As it is right now in this country, meeting influential people paves way for you more than education does. I'm not saying education is bad.

Most jobs are by who you know.

From your checklist, that Gombe job ticks most of it than the South West job...

Pls, state which you'd prefer with reasons.

Note:
The South West job offers little growth both financially and skill wise.

But the Gombe job offers renewal of contract in less than 2yrs if they see progress and you get to meet alot of influential people.

I just updated my reply https://www.nairaland.com/6262706/ini-edo-shows-dance-moves/1#96169730

It has nothing to do with the additional info.. Still on the first comment of what 99% of women have to offer.

God bless Nigeria.
Then I would say you're confused. It has nothing to do with it but that you raised it up the first time u quoted me

My brother, I am replying your attack, not my post.. Read your reply and my follow up.. You included my mum to the 99%, so I said, even if it's true, at least, she offered hers to her husband, my dad. Copied that?

God bless Nigeria.
The virginity part was not included when I quoted you. I wouldn't have quoted you if it was included before I quoted you.

You just modified your post. I wasn't attacking you. You said "99% of women"... I was just pointing out that your mum is a woman too and she's not the only woman in your family. Does that mean they don't have anything to offer their husbands too?

gentlegenius:
MISCONCEPTION #2: Many Christians believe that staying away from church even once in a while will contravene that scripture.
EXPLANATION: The verse says "do not FORSAKE...." Now, the word forsake means to give up, leave or abandon something permanently. Actually, Paul was only advising believers not to permanently give up or stop gathering with one another. That means even those who gather once in a while are still following that instruction. One will only deviate from the instruction when he permanently stop gathering.
Then define the life span of permanent. Someone who has been going to church on a daily stopped going for up to 4-5months and you're saying it's still not permanent? How long is permanence?

Don't forsake the gathering of brethren.
