I don root am n I also upgrade d firmware to the latest version tru d link emma gave me... am now scared to flats it wit custom Rom cos d one de uploaded in first page (4.1 jb) is about 9mb while d ones am seeing online is 132mb... so am confuse... any person with an idea on how to do it

EMMAUGOH: i don't know which phone u are using but if it is HTC sensation ...... Google for ' user friendly firmware for HTC sensation' it will take u to xda , download firmware 3:3 it should be about 13mb + copy the firmware to the root of ur sd card (no folder) then go to bootloader mood ( volume down + power button) the both loader will read the firmware and follow the instruction in screen to flash , don't touch the phone it will off and on till it goes back to home menu, then u good to go..... Sensation cannot Brick anyhow

thank God i have restore it back..... U guy wont give accurate step .... Always jumping there n dere...... Wat i need is step to step on how to root n install custom rom... I followed all ur step u posted here.... Than my phone was stuck on htc logo.. And one guy said i didnt upgrade d firmware before flashing d rom while on d tutorial u guys posted, u guys did not say anything like dat.. And after all dis problem someone gave me a wrong number dat keep diverting ... Well u guy don try.. Since then nobody even care to post how to solve d problem. Now my request is , how will i upgrade d firmware before i flash d rom.

pls how do i upgrade to d 4.1 zip file u uploaded..... i installed it tru recovery mode and i select it in my sd card... the zip install but it does not boot again.... it will show htc logo nd stop to boot pls help

maxdozie: STEP 2. To INSTALL Recovery -
v5.0.0.8
1. Download recovery v5.0.0.8 for
the Sensation from d link i gave
2. Copy the PG58IMG file into the
Root folder of your SD card (The
main Folder of your Memory
Card)
3. Turn off your phone FUlly and
reboot into the Bootloader/
HBOOT screen (see post above on
how to get to hboot screen)
4. Press Volume up to Accept
when it asks" Do you want to
start the update"
5. Press Power Off to Reboot
back to android after installation
is successful (normal screen with
homescreen)
6. Delete PG58IMG from your
memory card and you can now
root using step 3 below or install
a custom ROM using CWM
(Customs Roms are already
rooted)
7. OPTIONAL: Boot into recovery
or Completely switch off
(Fastboot disabled or removemo
and reinsert battery)

I just did d above step.... how can I install d custom Rom I downloaded from d link u posted for 4.1 jelly bean...... pls ....
