Good morning , visa interview was today , and thank God I and my daughter were approved. Interview questions weren’t much , right after the security checks we waited for like 45 mins before I was called, a white lady interviewed us , firstly she asked me to take the oath on behalf of me and my kid, she asked who petitioned for us, how did you meet him?,what type of wedding did you have?, who attended the wedding (told her and she asks about my hubbys parents told her they were not based here), she asked if my parents attended (told her just my dad) then she goes on to ask for hubbys current job, his former job,then she asks for pictures(showed her then she further asks again that okay I thought you said your mum attended d wedding and I still said no, she goes on to ask where my husband stays in the us and how many times he has visited, and then I heard the magic words, wasn’t even listening to the rest , she gave me d white paper and I left. Abeg wipe your tears, as long as your tubes are not blocked u no get problem. U can take drugs to stop or manage it, I too had it Thank God it's gone. And also u can use injections or drugs to trigger ovulation. Why are u even crying madam u no get problem, that's one of the smallest and treatable case when it's comes to infertility. As long as u don't take fake drugs, it will work! Abeg clean your eye smile joor.

Thanks for sharing openly and in details with us. The learning for me is no matter what you're doing or not doing, make sure you commit it to God for success. Pray and genuinely trust in God. Let God have his way and don't just lean on what you're doing or what your Dr is doing.It's evident that before and during this your successful IVF, you and your husband agreed as one, got closer and put absolutely faith in God, believed him and he came through for you. Perhaps it wasn't so in your previous iui and ivf. MouthAction kills sperm and not good for ttc but I don't see it as a sin though. Also key to note is that there's always God's appointed time for everyone. Some other couple might also do as you have done and if God feels is not the right time to Bless them with a child for a good reason, then he might just withhold it. Take for instance the case of Guiliana Rancic (Ex E! Presenter & Current Fashion Police Analyst, Award Hostess etc). When she was trying for a child and couldn't conceive she felt so heartbroken, later on she was able to conceive and had a miscarriage and that helped the Drs to pick up the cancer she had which if she had carried a successful Pregnancy would have grown and killed her. Eventually she had to go through a surrogate and now has a Son. The Drs wouldn't have been able to pick up the cancer if she hadn't conceived and had the miscarriage. In other words God blessed her in another way that she wasn't praying for or imagined.

One cannot over emphasise the importance of prayer but it's also important for us to know that our ways are not that of God and he works in mysterious ways. When I was job hunting, at some point someone ( a church) tried to make me feel that I didn't have a job because I wasn't praying enough and in the right way. Well I followed the person's (church) prayer pattern advice and all but yet no job. Each passing day that I did this and met rejection after job interviews, I always felt depressed and almost got to the point of denouncing that God cares for me, was always moody, it even started affecting my relationship with my DH and other people. Believe me today, I have a very good job and the job came at an unexpected way and time when I wasn't following the "prescribed prayer pattern" , I was just believing God but not doing the "tedious prayers" in the popular expected way. In fact I got the SMS asking me to pick up my offer letter at night while watching Africa Magic and there was a miracle in the movie and I was telling my DH that all na film that I don't believe or if it happens in real life how come God hasn't done it for me. Well that same instant I got my miracle sms. TTC doesn't need emotional/psychological stress and I wouldn't want any Mama going through this or questioning God or doubting my prayers like I used to do in the past each time I get AF.

I also did all doable to shrink my Fibroids , drugs, home remedies, supplements, native herbals and what have you before God finally led me to having a successful Myomectomy in Jan and I have no regrets because I always look back and know that I did my best as a human and perhaps God led me through that path to strengthen me or for a particular purpose or to trust him more and let him take over completely or whatever his reason is. Before the Myomectomy, my prayers was usually supplication asking God for a successful surgery. But you know what while praying that way, even with my surgery date fixed, I was still scared that I even came here to ask for more Fibroid shrinking tip to see if I'll find something else to try. Well one day, I was led in my spirit after my prayers to change my prayer to a prayer of Thanksgiving and immediately all fears where gone, I was so bold and confident in God that morning of surgery I woke DH up and was hurrying him up that I want to get to the hospital in time as scheduled before the Dr will go and change his mind. In fact it was like I was going into the theatre to give birth or to collect American visa or something like that, that's how confident and joyous I was.

To wrap it up, God is our father and we his children. The way we each communicate with him vary from individual and he understands us and meets us at our different point of need in so far as we're sincere, sinless, above all trust and believe him with faith. In fact in the Bible Jesus taught us how to pray with the Lord's prayer. Don't get me wrong, am not against camps and revivals, far from it. Am for it and also participate but what am against is someone saying or suggesting that you have to pray in a certain manner or place for God to answer. Also note that some of the supplements which Mamas here recommend and encourage are Orthodox and Dr recommended. Also Drs during treatment sometimes try several treatment protocols before they find a combo that will work for the patient.

Please am not trying to "tassi" you. @ All This is just my opinion, we're all entitled to our own opinion so please if you differ or wish to correct me in any place where I've erred , do so without malice or insult. Am very open to and love honest and positive criticism as it helps me to learn and grow. Thanks everyone.

Yes two red lines if the same shade and intensity in color and if the bottom red line is darker than the upper on it is positive,if the upper one is darker than the bottom keep testing meaning it's getting there. the next one will be possitive may God also make our preg strip be possitive in 2 weeks time ijn. Research Cervical Position and the different ways it presents at each time of the cycle and you'll find out that at some point the cervix turns hard. Never mind, I'll just get the details and paste here. Here is a summary of Cervical Position during Fertility phases.

"Cervix Position (CP) is a secondary, optional fertility sign. The cervix changes throughout the menstrual cycle in response to the hormone, estrogen.
1. During non-fertile times, the cervix is closed, firm and low.

2. As ovulation approaches and fertility is high, the cervix opens up,becomes soft and high and is harder to reach"

More detailed explanation:

"The position and texture of your cervix will change during your cycle:

1. During menstrual bleeding, the cervix is normally low and hard and slightly open to allow the blood to flow out. It feels like the tip of your nose.

2. After your period stops, the cervix remains low and hard and the opening to the
uterus remains closed.

3. As you approach ovulation, the cervix rises up to the top of the vagina and
becomes softer and moister.

4. At the height of ovulation, the cervix feels more like your lips than your nose and
the uterine opening is open to allow sperm to enter in. Sometimes the cervix seems to
disappear – which just means it has become so soft that it blends in with the
vagina walls and rises so high that the finger cannot touch it. This is known as
SHOW - Soft, High, Open and Wet. This is your most fertile time and is the optimal
time to have sex to achieve pregnancy.

5. Once ovulation occurs, the cervix drops lower and becomes more firm - once
again feeling like the tip of your nose. The opening to the uterus will become
tightly closed. This can happen immediately after ovulation or may take several
hours to several days.

6. When pregnancy occurs, the cervix will rise up and become soft, yet the opening to the uterus will remain tightly closed. This occurs at different times for different women – as early as 12 days after ovulation or well after the pregnancy has been confirmed by a home pregnancy test or doctor"

Note that this is a secondary and optional method. I myself tried it severally but couldn't even understand what I was touching and how it felt so I just gave up. I have other easy ways of knowing when I ovulate so I didn't think adding checking my cervical position was worth the stress.

This is what I was trying to explain when some ppl asked how I knew my cervix was hot or how I felt it, I simply inserted my finger trying to check for ovulation signs.
