When you guys lie do so with some dignity or at least save some lies for the next 1 week of your life. Dont spew all in one day.

All of a sudden you too made a deposit yesterday? Lol

I make deposits daily and people do same to me daily and all have always reflected same day so hush it.

I suggest you simply hush it and move along. Like i said a personal experience is not something an armchair atheist can refute with so much ignorance.
I make deposits daily for my dad, sometimes more than once a day... That your alert has never been delayed does not mean it has never happened anywhere before... It has happened more than one or two times to me
U want me to move along because u can't address the issue I raised... If your only argument is that I should bush and

If the person paid at the bank yesterday the alert would have come in yesterday and not today. No physical deposit reflects the next day. The alert is always same day. This was definitely an online transfer.

I see you like arguing and seem to think you are chief at disputing anything God. The truth is that whoever has a personal experience knows the foundation and sees a much bigger picture than you do so your ignorant analysis cannot change or refute a personal experience.

What i expected from you before quickly trying to show your ignorance was for you to first of all ask some sensible questions regarding the person who paid/borrowed and why the testifier really believes it was God who answered?

@PDBonline i bless God for you.
Actually, I paid to a zenith account yesterday and the person didn't receive the alert until this morning, he called and told me himself so there is a big possibility it was not online transfer, it might be network ish..
And plsss, I don't need to ask why the 'testifier' believed it was God because that's how Christians think... U survive a ghastly accident, u claim it's God, but that same God failed to save the other casualties and on a day one of your loved ones die in an accident, u claim it's the devil- an act of the devil God failed to stop
Why not address the question whether people that pray always get their money back
And BTW, created a thread yesterday, the other Christians could not even attempt to respond, maybe u give it a try

No, you didn't think about online transfer. And why didn't we get the money paid until we decided to pray.
The fellow hasn't even contacted us that payment has been made.

By the way God doesn't have to wait till we pray to do it because being God also means He knows we will decide to pray. In the Bible God said "Before they call I will answer." Otherwise many things will be too late. It is because He can start doing things before we notice the need to pray that NOTHING CAN BE TOO LATE to pray about.
So u are not even sure if it's online transfer and u still concluded that the payment was an answer to your prayers..
And God doesn't have to wait till you pray?? He also could have provided for that other person so that he won't have to borrow from u or he could have enabled the person to repay you earlier.. Or u didn't think of that??
And u failed to address this: do people they pray always get their money back?? Do people who don't pray never get their money back?? Do Christians even have a higher chance of getting their money back??

If they were visible today. Mohammed might have been jailed for statutory rape and Jesus will be seen as a deluded person who believes he is God and prays to himself in heaven while still here on earth.

Someone has been owing us for months. Last night, before going to bed, the issue came up again and we decided to bring God into it because whatever other options we may have can soil an important relationship to us.

So last night we prayed in the name of Jesus for God's provision for the person and asked that God will put it in the person's mind to pay the amount owed. Very early this morning we got the alert. The money was paid in full!

Experiences like this and the one I shared in my previous post makes me think that atheists don't know what they are missing. When you don't know what you are missing, you think you are missing nothing. Ignorance is truly costly.
Actually, if you got the alert this morning, it's likely the person paid at the bank yesterday before 4pm... So it wasn't your prayers getting answered.. Or u think people that don't pray never get their money back or people that pray always get their money back??

Let me help you so you understand purpose in all what God does and also Justification.

Bethel’s rejection of God is reflected in these youngsters’ behavior towards Elisha and this is what leads Elisha to curse these youthful hooligans “in the name of the Lord.” In fact, like Amos after him, Elisha’s curse appears to be a repetition of the curse for rejecting God in the covenant from Sinai:

Lev 26:22–23

“If then you act with hostility and are unwilling to hear/obey me … I will send the wild beasts among you and bereave you of your children” ,

Exactly what happens in this case. Much is made about the blessings contained in the covenant and the many blessings promised by God, but not many want to remember the other side of the equation and that is disobedience calls forth awful curses.

That Elisha’s curse brings about swift comeuppance is no less a sign of his authority as a prophet and representative of the covenant (and thus the truth of his protests against idolatry) than Elijah’s victorious confrontation on Carmel had been.

If indeed you have gone through the scriptures you will recall that in his first act as Elijah’s successor, Elisha had just miraculously purified the accursed, polluted water of Jericho, bringing blessing to those who received God. This second act serves as a sign of God’s continued judgment upon covenant-breakers. Such a visible sign of judgment serves just as Elijah’s drought and victory on Carmel (complete with the slaughter of 450 false prophets) as a sign of God’s reality and his covenantal claim upon Israel.

In addition, given the fact that Elijah had been sought by the king and threatened with death by the queen, this kind of mockery and aggressive behavior serves as a threat and as with Elijah before him, it becomes immediately clear that God himself will look after the safety of his prophet(s), much to the disadvantage of their opponents.

I suggest you read this repeatedly.
So God had already said before that he will send beasts and that makes it alright?? Or killing children as a sign of continued judgment is justifiable?? U need to do better than this
BTW, I saw the page u lifted this comment from... This shows desperation... But I get it, u are determined that you will justify these acts

Do you see God as bad for allowing Himself face such gruesome death?

1. I don't believe he's god
2. If a person chooses to die it's pitiable and should be prevented but it's not the same thing as murdering another person or other people, children to be precise. 42 of them to be exact
3. Jesus actually tried to avoid it at the last minute but of course he was praying to himself that his will should not be done but his father's which is still himself- will should be done... Christianity is hilarious

You still fail to grasp anything anyone is saying. If you designed and built a robot can it question you when you want to unplug it from electricity or when you wish to take out its hard drive?

You being the creator of the robot know why you want to do this but the robot does not.

If a doctor noticed that your wife was carrying a baby which would not live to see a yr after birth or who would be born with an extreme deformity and the doctor gave you the option of terminating the pregnancy early and this option was backed by law what would you do?
So you are comparing children to robots??
And as regards the doctor analogy, if I had the power to rectify the problem and save the wife, I will do that... God has d power to rectify any problem, right?? So why kill if you can rectify the problem?

Feel sad for yourself. God who knows the end from the beginning is justifiable in every way. I am sure you have watched movies where people can time travel and they can go into the future to see the events in the future and they go to the past to try to remedy a future disaster and in their attempt to remedy things they could ensure a child that was born was never born or someone is killed otherwise the person would be disastrous to the future.

I am sure you have watched those. Now imagine God as that x 1000000
Oh, the killing of those children is all part of God's grand plan?? And they had to die that particular way for the purpose to be achieved?? God is truly a master planner!! So if a guy tells u he killed 42 children for a grand plan, u will just shake his hands and move on

On that front, it is not insignificant that this event happens just outside Bethel, one of the two state-sponsored centers of idolatry (Dan being the other), complete with a golden calf set up by Jeroboam after the kingdoms divided.

Simple Logic . God took the lives he created .

End of argument . Whether you think it is wicked or not , does not mean anything to God . You are a mere mortal who knows too little to judge Him.

Like I said earlier , God Himself was brutally beaten , humiliated and nailed to the cross to die a slow painful death . The point remains that he died .

God allowed such to happen to those teens because they ridiculed Him by mocking His prophet . You know what it means to ridicule or pose any sort of danger to God's very chosen one cry cry .

The wages of sin remains death .

God took the lives he created... So ridiculing God's chosen one is worthy of gruesome deaths?? So u are saying the killing of the 42 children by God was good?? Yes or no

Oga how many people have Christians killed? Is there anywhere in the new testament that Christians are commanded to kill? Why worry over the non existent ?

Rather worry about yourself. If you say you are worried about the God presented to Christians this means that in some way you believe this God is real.

You should rather worry about the Democide carried out by the 52 most infamous Atheists of all time. Democide includes genocide, politicide and mass murder.

In the history of the world till date those 52 Atheists killed the most people and nobody, no religion has been able to overtake them. That should be your worry.

Christianity is not your property or making to be worried about. You are an Atheist so worry about Atheism and how to curb the democidal instance i just gave you which even one of you here with the moniker Grizzly.bear is beginning to manifest.
I knew u would try to twist the argument... The 52 atheists are terrible people and should not be emulated by anybody... They are the worst humans ever... Can you say that about your God?? No, your God is perfect...

Stop the appeal to emotions in your arguments .
Death is death... So Jesus was beaten to death so it's perfectly okay if children are torn to pieces by wild animals?? If u are not bothered about this type of God, either real or imagined, then u can also throw children to wild animals?? Or can't you??

Also, I care about the morality of people around me. Am offended that these stories portrayed as true is how a good god is presented... It's this kind of stories that gave the catholic church the mind to look when Jews were being tortured and killed

Again you are making things up as you go along. Now you are switching to the 42 Lads and not Children.

Let me even ask your supposed logical mind a question.

The bible says 2 she bears came out and went for these 42 lads right? They were not Children. The translation says Juveniles and those are Lads or rightly put teenagers.

You actually believe 2 she bears would come at 42 young lads and they would stand there watching and waiting for the bears to kill them? I mean they would stand there and wait for their own turn to die? So what happened to the flight instinct which is most appropriate?

The Bible said they were split. This means they were scattered and not killed. The interpretation says SPLIT. So i do not know where you got yours from.

Now to the top i have asked you repeatedly, does being perfect mean you cannot create imperfection?

You were asked to define ALMIGHTY and you said one who can do anything, anytime and anyhow yet you ask this question?

If God is Almighty and PERFECT as you put it then how is it that in his Almighty nature he cannot yet create imperfection for a conclusive perfect purpose?

Elisha left Jericho to go to Bethel, and on the way some boys came out of a town and made fun of him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they shouted.

24 Elisha turned around, glared at them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two she-bears came out of the woods and tore forty-two of the boys to pieces.
Start rewriting bible again, u hear?...
1. This version says boys, amplified also says boys... But to you, lads cannot mean children, shey?? And if they were teenagers, it was right to kill them
2. And they didn't stand and look, they actually ran... That's why only 42 OF them were killed, read your bible, it says OF them...
3. And it didn't scatter them , it tore them to pieces.. Maybe u should create your own version of the bible...
And I brought in this issue because we were trying to reconcile the good and all powerful properties of God when I remembered that God is not even good in the first place

Yes, it is wrong to kill children... It doesn't matter who you are or what you have done, u shouldn't kill children... If this was not in your bible but in another religion's book, u would condemn it too... Ur sense of judgment is beclouded by your commitment to your religion.. Killing of children is wrong, I don't believe it really happened though but the fact that this is the type of God the bible portrays just makes Christianity distasteful...
And why not a peaceful death... Why must they die gruesomely by the hands of bears

You then went ahead to boldly declare that you know its not true and that God is only an imagination. smh And you call yourself rational?
