I swear you spoke my mind with the bolded. Pressure too much everywhere. I can't even think straight. Who has time to be doing lovey dovey with a female on WhatsApp sef? I neither have the strength nor resources for that. God help man.

I'm just looking for money and sustainability.
Lol. Time really runs fast these days. Well, if the woman is worth your time and attention, well why not?

May God help us all.

The way internet is moving now, nothing should be overlooked. Decades ago I would have agreed on ignoring, being the bigger person lol. Seeing how "soso midia" is now, a minute of being the bigger person can ruin bigger dreams.
No lies babe.

People are really moving mad these days. May God save us all from alakoba.

I honestly don't understand the crave for some Nigerians to do and say silly things, just for the purpose of trending.
It's mind boggling.

I uninstalled Twitter since last year for my mental health. That space is something else.

Tenrack:
I swear. Most of my friends think I'm snubbing. I don't mean to but I don't have time for WhatsApp calls and texts that do not bring ideas or money
The Op made mention of "wooing women" (not one) on WhatsApp. I'm surpised he has that time hence, I said Time is money. Many people can perceive if your conversations would be a waste of time so they don't bother at all to engage in them.

Well, I don't believe in snubbing my loved ones/friends, it's good to make out time for people who are important in your lives.

Overall, it is dicey but a balance can be achieved.

PS: I might not respond to someone immediately due to work or busy schedules, but I do make out time to respond eventually and apologize for the late response. 24hrs isn't enough these days.

Tenrack:
You're absolutely correct. But there are few persons who still eager to communicate on WhatsApp. I think the reason for the reduction in interest is down to our busy schedules. Everyone is trying to make money so there's very little time to spare.
Everybody is busy in aĺl honesty. Time is money.

I agree wholeheartedly.

It was same for my University entrance exam (Post UTME). I scored 80/90 due to lots of practice questions.

EventsRe: Meaning Of RSVP On Invitation Card And Other Details. by folake4u: 8:50pm On Feb 25
Realinfogeneral:
I started taking RSVP seriously since the day I got an invitation to a birthday party.
At the bottom of the invitation card, there was RSVP and a link to use but I ignored it.
On the day of the event, I dressed up and went to the venue. The security at the main gate asked me for my IV and I showed them. They allowed me enter the gate but to enter the event hall some other people had to confirm my name on a computer system. They asked for my name and then searched and searched with no results.
Many people came after me and their names were quickly found on the system. I felt so embarrassed that day because I had to stand outside there for about 20 minutes until one of the celebrant 's brother came and ask them to let me in.

I was actually invited but only the people who did RSVP got their names on the system and had seats reserved for them.
Same here. I once got invited to an exclusive birthday party and only those whose attendance was confirmed were let in.

The event planner asked for my seat number tag and I was shown my seat. They even wrote my name boldly on the souvenir gift bag given to me.

I think people need to start paying attention to these tiny details to avoid embarrassment.

Tinyemeka:
What exact culture shock are you talking about? Care to elaborate please?

Would you the same question arise between an Igbo and Hausa relationship?

When I first saw this video early this year, I asked a Zim lady what she thought and her response was that Zim women still maintain traditional values regarding the role of women in a relationship in respecting the views and catering to the needs of a man in a relationship.

A Nigerian guy is looking for peace of mind which the UK ones seem to have found in the Zim ladies (who mostly are reserved/quiet compared to Nigerian ladies), while most of the Zim guys are rough/randy, prowling for white ladies to hook up with.

Honestly, it will be EXTREMELY difficult for a single Naija guy coming to the UK and seeing the options available, to finally settle down with a Nigerian lady. Just God's grace to be honest.

A British girl does not do billings. Instead she'll be the one spending on the guy or at least sharing expenses.

A Zim/Kenyan/Ugandan lady is naturally packed front and back and does not see sex as a transactional business like most Nigerian ladies do. Will cook and host the guy proper. All she needs is his love and attention.

Romanians (including some Polish girls) are hunting black guys to sample their bedmatic skills for free, based on stories that they've heard.

And you want a Naija guy to come and be listening to Naija girls with their sense of entitlements and loud talk?

Na wa o.
@ the bolded. But your Nigerian brothers keep killing the British women when the ladies end the relationship. Talmabout not handling rejection the right way.

Very apt, Onegai.

We need to bring back History classes to our Nigerian school curriculum because we always fail to remember that history will keep repeating itself.
