Proserpina: I sent a mail to the headquarters and I got that response. At first they denied it then I sent screenshots of my app, alert notification and my statement then they responded saying that nonsense. Someone said I should go to the bank and change it for them . I will do that when I go to update my account Sha .. going to bank really isn't my thing that's my problem. But I will..
Why remove 40k when there's a limit, shouldn't it just reject the whole transaction? I don't understand. Hopefully they will reverse the 10k but can the system do such mental sum of take away and give change? Lol 😂😂😂 this country ehn. I hate bank issues too myself. The best way is for you to go to the bank and change it for them. My dear, I Just tire. It is very annoying. I don check my balance several times sef, them never reverse am. This country stresses me too much. Pftt! |

Proserpina: Lol..
UBA commot 33k for my account, them talk say nah money I received in error. I try to trace if I received money "in error" I no see anything . Na gun remain make banks dey carry now.
The deduction didn't even reflect on statement. I'm puzzled 33k ke? Did you go to the bank to complain? I wanted to withdraw 40k today but only got 30k and the security personnel said there's limit of 30k daily. I complained about getting debit of 40k and he said they'd revert, till now I never see anything oh. |

ednut1: Lies. Where are they plaiting hair for 10k 🤡 Nigeria of 2022 is not the same as at now. 1 attachment is N6500 or more (depending on your location). If you want fullness and length, you'd have to use 2 packs totalling N13k. Miscellaneous: Washing/drying of hair= 1k (and/or above) Hair stylist fee=5k-7k (or more!!!). That is already 20k. There are ladies that spend up to 40k on braids ALONE. |

One should be careful eating stew outside now except for maybe big hotels and eateries because in times like this one can't be too sure. I know right!!! I don't eat anyhow so I'm good. But you're right. People should be careful because the quality will definitely be compromised. |

Eunoiaa: Shey that matter he and Onyeka Nwelue were embroiled in abi? I don't even remember the details, but if he was charging money for his book event, I still think that one can be excused.
But you see this subscription thing? 😂😂
That is five thousand people paying almost 7k EVERY MONTH. About 30 million naira in a month, multiply it a year, 360 million naira!!!!!
Now I am thinking he's just bluffing with the whole "I'm going to quit and abandon this investigative journalism thing". 🤣🤣
I am sure he must have "scare-pushed" some people into actually subscribing. They may not be up to 5,000, but anyway, that'll be more than a million naira stream of income flowing in.
Let's be seeing in the coming days. Oya na. Make we "excuse" am for that one. I will still say it. He's a thief. He wan use Nigerians head cash out. Some of his gullible disciples will still pay sha, and others will pay due to peer pressure. Whether "logical" Twitter calls it "daylight robbery" and lambasts him, he will still smile to the bank. |

Eunoiaa: A very big one.
I don't even remember the exact...oh, yeah. It was when he opened up Mochievous to slut-shaming! That was when I started smelling a rat about him, that he's really one of the classic misogynist who just use big words to cover it. He said Mochievous was being bankrolled by someone and implied that was how she was able to afford all those her destination trips. He later came again to say that what he meant was that Mochievous was employed by the person who PAYS her money for legit, valid (legal) services. He's like, since she works for someone and is getting paid, then in a way, her boss was funding her lifestyle.
AFTER people have gone on slut-shaming her and dragging her for scam during the EndSARS. That was when I knew he was a mischievous fellow. He did the same "ambiguous word" kinda accusations to two other women and I just wrote him off then. Also found a lapse in timing in one of his posts dragging Burna Boy. There are people who don't rate him and it doesn't even have anything to do with politics. Even Aisha Yesufu. Lol. I remember that ślut šhaming nonsense he did to Moe. I'm glad he got called out for implying the wrong thing. Always throwing big words everywhere but empty upstairs. Yes, this is true. The people that don't like him isn't for political reasons. He is just not a genuine and straightforward fella. Did you see where he was charging a fee to attend his book event in the UK one time? Na thief wey dey disguise. Many of these Twitter men don't have sense. I don't rate them one bit. Solomon Buchi, John Doe etc. |

But some disconnect here and there made me start rethinking my perspective of him. For real?? I'm wary of people like him. He's suffering from "Messiah Complex". |

Acidosis: Seeing the number 33 sends shivers down my spine again. I lost my wife hours after childbirth some 33 days ago. She was 33 when she passed. Big dreams, big things we both planned all seem like they're over, right? But really, they are not. She lived a purposeful life. I'm mourning, ignoring the many "if" and "what if" scenarios—the thoughts won't stop coming if you allow them—and finding the courage to take care of two newborn babies. My point? Don't be too hard on yourself. Embrace the challenges and learn to recognise the blessings. All will be well and, more importantly, remember that good or bad, fast or slow, everything will come to an end someday. Make that a reality check. Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!! Omgggggg Acid. I'm so sorry to hear that. I will call you later. |

cococandy: I don’t know about it being more healthy. There are whole grain breads that I’m sure are healthier because they have more bran and haven’t been stripped of nutrients by using whole unprocessed wheat flour.
But for me, I enjoy agege more than other kinds of bread to eat by itself. It can stand alone and still be satisfying.
Most breads we have here in America usually have to be toasted, made into a sandwich, bread pudding or French toast etc to enjoy them. Just eating them by themselves doesn’t feel good to me. Even the sweet ones like cinnamon raisin breads are still not good enough IMO Oh alright then. I get your point now. Do you enjoy whole wheat bread as well? |
Food › Re: Can You Buy This 20k Bread In This Present Economy? by folake4u: 10:27pm On May 27, 2024 |
cococandy: It’s great for French toast. The egg wash adds a nice balance that tones down the sweetness
And artesano brand is the best one among all of them IMO. If you find it, try that brand first before you completely give up on brioche
I agree. Agege bread is simply the best bread that can be eaten by itself. Every bread I’ve tried needed something to make it complete So you're saying that the ordinary Agege bread is more healthy compared to other types of bread? Genuinely asking though. |
