I was looking for my argument with a poster about Indians being employed over Nigerians.

This is why. The employee has no problem running the company into the ground. This is also the problem with running business in Nigeria. You as the owner have to be 101% hands on. If not once your employees will rob you every way they can. And this leads to inefficiencies.

I have heard that anything over there 250k must be signed by adenuga. You can imagine how that would slow everything down. But that is what Nigerians have wrought.
To be honest, Nigerians are the architect of their own problems.

How can you purposely decide to wreck a business without battling an eye? Terrible.

Even if the employer is on standby 101% of the time, they will steal under your very nose. To place CCTV camera in one's business is simply not enough.

Lol. Adenuga does not joke with his money at all. We dey hear him gist. cheesy

A reflection of the mindset of alot of us in this country. If you run a business you will understand why Nigeria is what it is. Too many people with a criminal mindset.
It's really terrible.

I know this Instagram page and been following them for years. The owner of the shop has a shop in Lagos and just recently opened this Abuja store about four months ago.

The shop owner rented an apartment for her staff, where the lady was also staying at well. They've done further investigation and recovered 12 handbags, 13 shoes, 7 wristwatches, 2 shades among other items.

Apart from these, the lady dashed her mother a 120k Italian bag and has been selling some items at the store to customers at ridiculous price.

It is quite unfortunate actually. Running a business in Nigeria is not for the faint hearted.

- Language differences
- Reside in the dormitory where females aren't allowed. It's the reason most Japanese males use "love hotels" to spend time with their partners before they get a private apartment.
- Research work. I have to be in the laboratory Monday to Saturdays. A Sri Lankan I met at one of my scholarship ceremonies goes to her laboratory EVERYDAY. The same for the Nigerian ladies in my school. Na only Sunday dem get as free day.
- Not too much of a strong reason, but I will include it: I love black women's vagina and breasts, but our women want commitment before sex. As I dey, I don't have commitment to offer any woman.
Oh wow, that's a LOT.

Omoooo! Getting only Sunday as free day is WILD!! That's a lot of time y'all spend at the laboratory. The Lord is your strength.

Lol. You can't blame our women nau. You people like sleeping upandan so it's understandable.

It is good that you're honest with your choice though. Well, maybe you might find someone who shares the same "No commitment" thingy with you.

descarado:
Food plays it's part but you see alcohol, it destroys everything in your system. Brain, kidney, liver, reproductive organs, name them.
Unmanaged diabetes caused by food land someone in this mess but the thing about diabetes and eating right in Nigeria is that we do not have any awareness on healthy eating at all. The reason you see the rich getting so obese with all their money. Obesity is a big man problem in Nigeria. We eat and eat like peasants. We eat for the qty, not the qlty.
Just seeing your mention now. E ma binu.

Sometimes I wonder what's so special about alcohol but then, it's not my thing. And I understand people take it for the "trips" or pleasure they derive from it.

Omoooo about the food? Our diet is majorly carbs. How many Nigerians can afford three square meals these days? Not many, I guess.
Garri that used to be the hope for common man is also expensive these days.

What people focus on these days is to just feed and survive and not really about healthy living. You really can't blame them. The economy isn't favourable right now in Nigeria.

About the obesity thing? I don't really see it from the social class of wealth. Even some poor people can be obese too. I've seen this play out as well.

But yeah, I understand your perspective too.

Why did the First Lady attack the APC candidate about his marital status? When you go low in politics, don’t cry when your opponents go lower. When you beat someone, don’t complain about how the person responded.
My thoughts exactly.

When your opposition goes low, you go lower.

Besides, Nigerians should not kill themselves ontop politicians' matter.

There is no permanent friend or enemy in politics.

Sure. Create my website, fund the research projects and popularise it. The plan is to make it like scientific journals such as Science and Nature where each researcher gets acknowledged.

I have nothing against copying my post and re-posting on their platform, but the right thing to do and the minimum is to reference the thread and Nairaland. I don't even need my moniker to be mentioned. Just reference the thread link. If not for the persistent ban by the anti-spam bot, I could have included the source where I obtained the picture. Here (Number 8 on the list): P.S. His Twitter page is the source of these WASSCE results: https://x.com/durutheguru/status/1661408775130034180/photo/1

Good luck to them copying the next idea(s) from my head.
Okay, this makes a lot of sense.

I'm wishing you good luck in your research endeavours.

This is why I am not a fan of soft drinks at all (except Caprisun). I don't even buy fruits except if you cut it open in my presence.

God save us. In 10 years time, there are going to be a lot of kidney and skin complications.

No, it is not failure of government. Some people do these in order to make quick gains at the expense of the health of the populace. They call it being "sharp."

Ignorance is not an excuse really. Or will you also say the people burning car tyre for Ijebu ponmo are also doing it ignorantly? That is an intentional act, in my opinion.

An average Yoruba food seller can't cook without adding sugar
While their emu seller (palm wine) can't sell without adding sacarine
It's that saccharine in palmwine to make it sweet that amuses me. I witnessed it last year with my friends. They know the taste of original palm wine and so when this restaurant served palmwine with saccharine in it, they knew immediately and stopped drinking.
