Malory: Then what do you suggest the man should do in this situation? Seek advice from elders. Pray. Call his wife to order. There is a firmness with which a woman is called to order. Sit her down and clarify things. Ask her if she is no longer ready to make the marriage work. I mean if the man is sure he can't increase the amount, lay the cards on the table and ask her what she wants to happen moving forwards. Sometimes it takes being in such position for women to have their heads reset. I'm sure she wouldn't want to lose her marriage because of 50k. Men should stop hiding pain and speak up. Tell her "madam I'm hypertensive, if you want to kill me just open up. Say your mind!" |

omohayek: Unfortunately, the answer to all your questions is a clear "Yes". He and all the other Putin-admirers on this forum lack even an iota of empathy for others, and they clearly have no respect for the idea of national self-determination. All they care about is backing a "strong" man, especially if through him they can vicariously enjoy a "victory" over the western countries they hate so much for whatever reason. How exactly an attack by Russia on a fellow Slavic country - one which is neither a member of NATO nor the EU - qualifies as any kind of blow against the "west" they hate so much remains a mystery to me, but in their minds a Russian "victory" against anyone the west feels sympathy for counts as a "victory" against faraway Americans, Britons and Frenchmen who still sleep safe and sound in their beds as the war goes on.
If that victory comes in the form of a thieving butcher in the Kremlin ordering the unprovoked bombing and gunning down of innocent people in another country, these bloodthirsty savages will relish the carnage that unfolds, even if it means children are blown up, elderly parents are machine-gunned while sitting in their homes, pregnant women have to cower in subways, orphans are abandoned to fend for themselves ... What this inexcusable war of aggression has exposed clearly is just how morally depraved many Nigerians are, despite all their ostentatious religiosity. Exactly... moral depravity. I guess that's what our society has done to us. |

Dalil8: DPR, LPR, Chechen and Russian forces have taken almost all eastern Ukraine towns and cities. I laugh at those of you that think Russia is losing this war.
A 40-mile long Russian military convoy is en-route to Kyiv at the moment. I doubt Kyiv would withstand another night of fighting.
https://static.dw.com/image/60954220_509.jpg And what are you gaining from Russia's victory? You support oppression of unarmed humans? I don't understand how some of you think. You support people dying? You like seeing children blown to pieces by shellers? You support Russia taking over Ukraine? You want war to continue and countries to keep taking territories whether it's justified or not? What gives you satisfaction in all these? It's a societal concern that most of the people we share a country with are not normal. |

What is mind boggling about the whole thing is this: Why are some Nairalanders especially Northerners and APC fans against the US? I don't understand. What did USA do to Nigeria? Nairalanders arguing here in favour of Russia invading a sovereign nation! Imagine having the temerity to talk about Biden and USA being weak and discussing military strategy in Europe and Asia. Meanwhile they live in a country where only Civil Defence officials drive them indoors! Nobody can protest in Nigeria. Hunger won kill common man for Naija and they are dissecting US vs Putin and taking sides. Truly some people are unstable but wearing suit. |

GreatrAnalyst: Looks like a foolish decision, especially to many ignorant ones right here, but that's actually what's best to do.
1. Not all wars or battles are yours to fight. There are wars you win by avoiding them. He who fights and runs will live to fight another day. 2. The war of 21st century is war of supremacy of economy. Any world power that goes into war these days won't recover economically for decades to come. Germany is still paying for the foolishness of Adolf Hitler for plunging the world into WW2 3. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia doesn't concern US directly. Ukraine has never joined NATO officially, so US will be on her own, to go headlong into war with bloodthirsty Putin. The best bet would be NATO against Russia(had it been Ukraine already belongs to NATO), not US all alone.
Nuff said... Great analysis |

silverlinen: Damn i really feel for this people of Ukraine, the western powers they depended on now has deserted them. Instead of sending In troops,na sanctions wey no reach anywhere them dey sanction. This shows you don't read and don't know much about the crisis. Biden said US response would be financial/economic. US and UK won't outside NATO borders. Ukraine is not part of NATO. There are several measures that could be used against Putin other than open war which won't help Kyiv. Sanctions will cripple Russia economy. Much of their economy is controlled by the SWIFT financial system membership. Once Russia is cut off from Western tech supply line, the dollar transaction system and the SWIFT financial line they would be in Recession in a matter of weeks. You obviously don't know that EU and US control over 65% of Russia's economy. I'm not in support of war. Nobody wants war but write this down. Putin and Russia are in trouble. |
