ndo2:What clout does Sowore have? I dare say Sowore can't even win his LG in a free and fair election, but the clown wants to be president! MNK was a force to behold. Man seemed like a god! He had the people in his hands, he had the clout! He had everything to cause a change in the present political space that's the SE, which is the first goal; but hubris as they say, is the downfall of those who indulge in it. |
gidgiddy:But their pattern isn't working now and I don see it working in the nearest future too. Secession battles are no longer fought in the fields but the legislature. Self-determination without politics? If you say IPOB wasn't created for good governance then why are you protesting bad governance in Nigeria? Isn't it the bad governance and marginalization that created the Biafra dream in the first place? So how can you say IPOB doesn't care about bad governance, especially in their enclaves? I beg to differ. |
LeoDeKing:Why are you complaining? Ain't buhari the best thing after fried rice? To your post, them getting approval to increase prices does not automatically translate into profits for them. Of what use would increasing prices be, when they would be running below capacity? When people are unable to afford the air fares, passenger traffic drops and there's only a limit to how much they can increase air fares to. The last time I flew, some weeks ago, the plane was only half full. They'd maintain their jets, pay staff, pay taxes, air taxes too, association fees, purchase spare parts. How would the business survive? |
Those airline operators would be foolish to accept any plea to wait, without any guarantees or on ground work they can see. The minister of petroleum is an aloof, lethargic old fool who doesn't even know he occupies that position. Every thing is in shambles but all they care about is presidential election forms. They are only saying this because the elite would be affected. They don't want to get killed or kidnapped, by the terrorists they imported into the country. |
zuraking:I wish people knew this |
mrvitalis:I modified my post about the faction thing. Do check it out too. Now to this, did Sowore win at the courts or not? No one would roll over and watch you threaten their empire; it's common sense. In all honesty, what activism is IPOB doing now, as currently constituted? We hardly hear from IPOB except when they are denying atrocities linked to them. We hardly hear mind throbbing intellectual discourse, except insults and more insults from their leaders or some members. When last did Emma Powerful, their spokesman dish out an intellectually striking piece that went viral? Bro we can't lie to ourselves... The movement is losing steam and with people being indiscriminately killed on both divides, it will take its toll even more. Remember how MASSOB started? What became of the the MASSOB movement when they began doing this exact same thing? Only a mad man does something same way expecting a different result. |
mrvitalis:First question my brother, you need to read up on the atrocities of the British on the IRA and how it was in the early days. On your second question, I'll have to ask a question. Did IPOB do so then, got rigged out with the courts? I know you will always reference Imo state but has it happened again after the backlash that followed? Speculations are not real life scenarios my brother. You do your bit, expecting good results or you keep at it. It's a better solution than killing and burning places to the ground. The goodwill they once commanded is been completely eroded! The government may be the ones actually sponsoring these atrocities, to turn the Igbo people against IPOB, buy I dare say IPOB gave them fodder for their canon and they cranked it up to unwanted scales. Does IPOB not already have factions? Say one thing, another set comes to say another countering the former? I guess you people didn’t see that coming but you should. That's the first rule in the book. Divide and conquer! |
Wazobia2216:What manners please? For saying the truth? Are the unreasonable, stupid ones not here already throwing insults, rather than engage in a discourse? |
paramakina202:Never seen a people this deluded! I wonder how they're this "bot-ified". Said they will kill and kill, then both sides will get invited to Switzerland LMFAO! When would they know that the world doesn't give a flying fuucck about Africa? When this thing started I remember talking with even some of them. You've been protesting peacefully but the Nigerian system has been attacking you, with sublime support from the elites of your region. Your governors. Why not change strategy? Push forward pro Biafra people, let the people vote for them. Imagine the clout MNK came with in 2015. That followership would have toppled the political foundations of the SE. Then you dish out good governance, so the people get a glimpse of what Biafra could be. See dirty Abia state, where MNK is from. Imagine turning Abia to a model city. Pushing your reps to the higher chambers to talk about restructuring and referendum. But no! Give us guns! We kill enough and Biafra would come. SMH |
blackpanda:Well, we have to try |
Anthonyoz:OK Kill some more then. Burn some more too. Shalom |
They are here already. Keep the insults coming please. If you're interested in a discourse, then we will. Shalom |
A major electoral UPSET is unfolding in far away Northern Ireland this evening, and it presents a great learning opportunity for IPOB\IGBOS. I am talking about the IRISH REPUBLICAN ARMY (IRA) of Northern Ireland. For non students of history, for decades, the IRA, had a running battle with the British government, for almost identical reasons and more as IPOB started out with. It was a non winnable war for them, against a better armed and funded British government. In the mid 90’s, the IRA changed tactics and joined the electoral process. They nominated their own candidates, who armed with the goodwill of the IRA and the masses behind them, started winning seats after seat in the governing process. A national election was held this week and from all indications, they have won and taken control of governance in Northern Ireland. Even the British gov has now admitted defeat, and will now have to follow the rules made by their once arch enemies. As it currently stands, IPOB and their leadership can toe same line. The longer they wait, the more their chances slip away as more gruesome crimes are being perpetrated by TERRORISTS both from within them or those claiming to represent them. Denial is always “good” for the denier, but Reality is a different thing. Reality is, they are losing goodwill as more and more Igbos are killed, regardless of who is doing the killings and tagging IPOB. Second Reality is, the MISCREANTS and TERRORISTS who are killing Igbos, lack the intellect to lead and run an effective nation, IF or when their armed struggle succeeds (which is very much unlikely by the way). Take a closer look at what just happened in Northern Ireland. Don’t like Northern Ireland? Take a look at LEBANON. Same model, same results. If it worked in these two nations, it will also work for you guys. The Templates are already there; simply copy and paste. I've always maintained that you don't change a system from outside... You do so from inside! You're yet to have a strong political claim on your own region but you think you can pull a miracle by succeeding in secession from a lawless country like Nigeria? I know the stupid, useless, never-do-wells amongst you will come to rain insults upon me but you see this truth, I will always say it, much to the chagrin of the dissenters. I come in peace! God bless us all Some part of this article is copied from @CbianBen on Twitter. |
IbileIfe:Have you ever left the shores of this country? |
cl0r0x:Oya go and arrest him na. Hater! |
Igboland:And you bastard fool should tell me the tribal slurs I've made against anyone before, or criticism I've made unduly because the person in question is from another tribe, not mine. If your bastard Animal of a father actually gave birth to you and you're not a bastard as I suspect, kindly tell me. You Uncultured, disgusting blight! |
poiZon: ![]() Manual dey APC book of propaganda! |
Igboland:You are a fool if you think everyone who complains about this government is Igbo. You are a mad bastard who should refund his poor father's spendings on your education, if you feel it must be all about tribes. Foolish tifnubu slumdog! Please leave here with your tribal hating... I don't do that. |
dettolgel:I plenty full ground my brother. If na bad mouth, I get am A1 too. ![]() |
AntiBMC:Swears! Like, see how the cost of cooking gas went up 3x, Nigerians didn’t complain or whine! Diesel same thing! How companies are managing to break even now, shocks me! The vegetable of a president has not deemed it a national emergency that companies and our air sector are shutting down, but his own is to jet to London at will and push the whole members of APC to launder money through their fraudulent presidential nomination forms! |
Achilles881:It's buhari and your dad who are sophisticated then? Same Anambra had more millionaires per square inch than anywhere else in Nigeria. Next! |
Airline operators of Nigeria, yesterday, declared they were shutting down airline operations across all operators, due to the high cost of jet fuel, which has risen astronomically from ₦190 to ₦700 per liter. It is no longer feasible, bearing such costs and other costs of operating business without profits. Remember when Peter Obi said if you're a rich man from a poor country, you're poor?! Well the day is here. If the airline operators proceed with this action, all Nigerians would be forced to travel by road or sit at home including the rich and middle class, which have constantly adjusted to the ills of this government especially, like toads in boiling water. Only the super rich and powerful who can afford private jets and or helicopters would be able to travel by air. You hailers will be subjected to traveling by road just as the wailers. Bandits and terrorists must be in such ecstatic moods now. Business is about to rise astronomically for them, from great to greatest! Hmm But as the topic says, let's blame Peter Obi! Let's blame him... I mean why should we not? He dared say Nigeria's employment rate stands at 35% (fact checkers called him names and christened him "him-tu-lie" claiming it was 33.3% instead, until the fact checkers were fact checked and called out for lying! ASUU is on strike, meaning 80% of Nigerian students are sitted at home now, wasting away. Despite this, the ministers of education and labour have somehow been able to cough out a whooping ₦100M to purchase the APC presidential nomination forms. The aloof president we have has not said a thing about the strike which has entered it's 3rd month but NO! LET'S BLAME PETER OBI for daring to say education in Nigeria should be the priority! Buhari has bastardized every facet of this country but somehow, Nigerians are so blinded by propaganda, tribal hate for each other, that they can't see that the real enemies of Nigeria are buhari and the members of his cabinet and APC! People who have presided over more massacres since the Civil War, than any other regime in Nigeria. An advise to both wailer and hailer alike. If the airlines indeed go ahead with their threat, kindly make sure before you journey the roads, you make peace with your creator, carry your fare in one pocket and your ransom in the other. BUT LET'S HATE PETER OBI... MAYBE IF WE HATE HIM ENOUGH, BUHARI WOULD WAKE UP TO PLUG THE CRATER, THREATENING TO SINK THE BOAT OF THIS COUNTRY! |
Buhari breaks another record! SMH! |
Dreamhighnow:If he contests in another party, he's dead in the water and he knows it. It's the implosion they're scared of |
Foolish adesina doesn't know that even a bad clock is correct two times in a day. Buhari is God's worst punishment to Nigeria. The foolish fulani man has so battered Nigeria and the office of President, now even clowns and those who sh!t themselves, are clamouring for it because they all think they can outperform "this buhari". After all, they say the one-eyed man is king in the city of the blind. |
enumerica:I pass my neighbor suppose carry this gen sef |
skywalker240:Hahahaha my brother you bad! ![]() That date was deliberately fixed so their pee poo daddy, won't have a chance to run to SDP after he chops breakfast! Hahaha |
skywalker240:Go and ask tifnubu ![]() |
Creamypie:Who's this "we south" "us" you keep talking Abeg? Stop disguising. Speak for yourself and family. Have you hated northerners over the carnage they've carried out against southerners over the years? Have you finished hating northerners who killed southern youth corpers under buhari's directive because he lost a fairly conducted election? Buhari's village has become a den of terrorists, who kill, kidnap and pillage on a daily. How much hate have you targeted to the perpetrators? It's the east now, they spoke "Igbo" so everyone suddenly has an opinion! Please keep your hypocritical mouth shut! Good thing many Nigerians don't think like you tueh! I utterly condemn the act meted on that couple and I really hope the perpetrators are fished out and dealt with. What I won't accept, is rubbing the guilt of few, on a whole people. The OP raised salient points but emotional Nigerians won't see that. 1. Where did it happen? 2. Who did it? It's lazy policing to just say "IPOB did it ". What investigation and clues and geo mapping led to that conclusion? 3. What are the steps being taken to unravel the matter? We need to begin to have a rational thinking process in Nigeria |
shigishege:Did you verify to at least check the veracity of those claims? |
Mooh247:Some persons say buhari is fighting corruption and I wonder what their brains are made of. This election, will be the most monetized elections in our democratic history you'll see. It will make 2015 seem like a bad joke! Already, see where they fixed primaries, so that anyone shot down won't be able to go contest under another party. |
Hardfacts234:Whenever I want to say anything as regards this issue, I remember this you just said up here. I remember I was at the Onitsha head bridge, the day the MNK protest was first done. I was in transit to Enugu from Delta. I remember soldiers and policemen shooting at anything and everything moving that night. I remember running in between those huge gutters along the road at Upper Iweka to avoid being shot. I remember seeing trucks after trucks, carrying the dead, captured and injured; the captured, most of whom public commenters say never returned. Why all this? They dared to protest unarmed! To make matters worse, the Python went to dance and igbo youths were felled, humiliated and dealt with! Many People on this forum I remember, rejoiced and partied like it was Friday. "Kill them all" they said. They forgot injustice, soon comes back to bite. Having said that, I DO NOT AND WILL NEVER SUPPORT THE actions of these gunmen but the truth must be told. You don't slap a person and dictate to him how he should react. I hope someone comes to help mediate in these things and bring peace back to this country. Buhari surely isn't interested in that. |
