Regardless, both required deposit amount are different and at the end, they both own property in UK when giving testimony online. For all you know - the 'UK' in reference could be north, south, west or east.

Also, you are limited as to where you would get a '600K' 3 bed detached in London, mostly undesirable part. At the end of the day, we all have different preferences. Its still all a 'mortgage' just that there is now a little shift from owing the landlord to owing the bank. I.e bank being the new landlord and possibility of equity pull out in the long run.
TheGuyFromHR:

That's not a proper comparison between prices in London and Manchester.
600k in London will get you a 3 bed detached.
A comparable property in Manchester would be about 400 - 450k.

Well Goodluck to everyone. Location matters though - London deposit of 600k properties at 10% is 60K while Manchester deposit at 150K property at 10% is 15K.

Just to add to the bolded below. Dropbox applies in the UK as i have recently done that in London.
Ralphlauren:

The key strategy for securing US visit visa as a first time applicant resident in the UK is to demonstrate recent travel history within Europe.

Unlike Nigeria, the consular officers don't really care about or ask for bank statements. What they look at is recent travel history (flipping the pages of your passport), the information provided on your online application (your job title, your gross income and detailed explanation of your job description/roles/responsibilities) and your attitude, confidence and answers provided during the interview.

People have been in the UK for 1 to 4 years and they've never bothered to visit anywhere in Europe as tourists yet they want to fly all the way to America to visit Times Square ??

In summary, apply for schengen visa and visit any European country of your choice at least once or twice. Then apply for US visa as a TOURIST with an intention to vist a city known as a tourist location. e.g. New York for 7 to 10 days.

Current students - speak to your international office and they will provide you the letter you need to apply for schengen visa. Those with part time or full time jobs - you need your payslips.

Fat account balance is not required for schengen visas. As long as your account balance equals the multiplication of the daily subsistence (i believe its around 30euros a day) and the number of days you plan to stay in Europe. E.g. you plan to visit for 5 days, all you are required to evidence in your account is minimum 150 euros. Cheap tickets are available from budget airlines especially for journeys during the week. Cheap accommodation can be sourced from the likes of booking.com and lastminute.com. Affordable travel insurance can be purchased from price comparison sites.

Its standard 2 years for Nigerians even for renewal. Ghanaians get 5 to 10 years when they renew. To the best of my knowledge, Dropbox doesn't apply in the UK.

Hi, It seems you already got a mortgage, if so you are not eligible. Lisa is only for FTB and max of £450k. It's seems better than the HTB which is now closed. So basically what he meant was that one could take advantage of getting 25% on 4,000 = £1,000 in this financial year Apr 6 2021- Apr 5 2022 ( only if you deposit up to 4K before Apr 5 2022) and also take advantage of the Apr 6 2022 - Apr 5 2023. So it all adds up to £2K per year ( 1K each if you are a couple additional free money to house deposit.
ukay2:

Please explain this 2 tax years within a calendar year if one wants to max the 4 pounds allowance....

Thanks

Thanks for sharing this. However, it requires a proper financial planning.

Pros - No exit fees, no early repayment fees whatsoever.
Cons - At least 85% LTV. Locked fixed rates for at least 10-15 years. No one knows what the market rate might be long term but there is a possibility that one would be overpaying a mortgage long term down the road should any case the wider market interest rate drops long term. All these have been factored by the actuaries.
Lexusgs430:
If you're looking to buy a property, but cannot apply due to financial constraints.......

A new provider is on the market, that would offer you *7 mortgage wage multiplier..........

This is only available for certain professions, and you must be practicing and registered with your regulation boards ..........

https://www.habito.com/one

Read terms and conditions, you must be employed for over 12 months and have all employment documents..........

* 15% deposit is required + long term fixed term mortgage arrangement ....... etc etc

The student trading you have referred to is nothing else but a gamble with Zero fundamental or technical analysis. There's this popular say: time in the market is > timing the market. It's hard to time the market.

Proper research in coins with solid fundamentals and prospects are much better on the long run especially in Crypto. This way you are able to sleep at night.
Chreze:

Cool bro. I was hoping we will get a crypto tread so that we don’t derail this as I don’t know if this is acceptable here. But I will just keep it brief and ask that I am permitted.

I use a site called (gate.io). It an exchange but has some features that makes it good for this type of daily trading.

There is a tab “Top Gainer”. This is a list of coins making profit at the minute (not all coins in the world, but all that is on the exchange itself). From my research I discovered that there are coins (I call them magic coins). They just pop on the top Gainers list at the top (between 1 to 4). This coins happen between 3 to 5 days in a week. They can start with a position of say 0.001 and go as high as 0.03, sometimes not up to that. Maybe 0.001 to 0.008. Using the last example that is already a multiple of 6x+.

Because this coins are magic coins they go high and drop within hours to say 0.002 or there about. Now after hitting that 0.002 - 0.0025 range, they will do a little upward movement again to maybe 0.003 or 0.0035. Now you will notice this is a 50% movement if you entered around 0.002 to 0.003. This process will repeat for about 2 to 3 times within 10 to 15hrs and the coin will finally crash. Sometimes the coin doesn’t crash, it keeps moving up to maybe 0.005. I don’t advice new people to wait for those run again as this then required knowledge of graph and lines. I only advice you pick your 30 to 40 or 60% and go your way. I call this a student pattern of trading and I will explain to you why I call it that.

For you to get this process, you have to monitor and watch the coin (atleast for a first timer). With time you know how basically the coins work. Yes, there are alerts you can set to make it easier, but sometimes the alerts don’t come fast as these coins do magic runs. As a student what I did was, when any coin comes up, that is when I start to cover material that I missed, so I start to do my school work and monitor the coin as well. I try not to get to carried away with the book as a little deviation you don miss the good entry point. With time you will know when to check for these coins and basically the times they appear (I will leave that for your learning).

If you have seen me write anything about trading, you will always see “eliminate human greed”. That’s the only thing that comes between a money maker and loser. I have been using this pattern for quite some time now so I know when to possibly enter. Sometimes I set my entry point so low that it doesn’t get me into the market. I let it go and don’t chase the coin or I just wait for it second fall.

It’s as simple as that. If we have a tread I could do a live trade one day and share images of entry and exit point for the whole period of that trade.

Warning:
1. This pattern of trading is not something to be greedy with like MMM where you won’t to make all profit. There are possibly millions of people working with either same or similar tactics, so it becomes who comes out first.

2. Crypto trading is riskier than most investment. You can loose all in a blink of an eye.

3. What I have described is a trading for just getting things to move on with life. Like investing $100, then get $20 or $30 to feed as a student (why I call it student trading). Yes I make more cos I actually invest more than that, but i strongly advice to try with little amount of money.

4. Make sure to have an idea about crypto trading before you try this student trading pattern as I call it.

5. For your first tryout, you don’t have to put any money. Just try on assumption. Like in your spirit you enter at a particular point, you record it and the amount you have supposedly entered with, then when you pull out, you record and estimate what it would have been.

If we have a room. We could do a live trading and show some things that are important that I may not have added now. I have skipped all those trading jargons and graph and all that. Those I use for proper trading. This is just let us get a $30, $200 dollar feeding/upkeep money, depending on what you have invested.

Also the gate.io site is a Chinese site, and it has a chat room “news” be careful what you read there as people tend to lure you into investing in a coin telling you it will go 100x in few minutes. I advice you stick to why you are on the site. After some time you will join them in the chat and add your own and take their own knowledge too.

Please my compatriots, AVOID GREED, get some little percent increase and move on to the next coin. Don’t tie all your needs on one coin. It might end in tears… All I have said has an easier way to do then (like setting up alerts and using graph and all that), but I have found this rugged way to be a way of improving one’s knowledge about the trading and exposing you to newer things that even I may not know.

Please advise any agent that can assist with china admission and student visa application. I am looking to apply for masters in social work for my sister.
effissyman:

1. Sending of documents majorly applies to CSC applicants..as far as you are applying through any genuine agency ,all you need is scanned copy documents. And also this depends on what the school you wish to apply to want..either scanned or post documents...
2. Abuja Embassy only ask candidates to do this even though have met people who got their visa in abuja yet they don't stamp or authenticate any document at MOE ..all what they did is authenticate their police character @ MOFA.. And they got the visa.
3.sicas is ok and if you know any other genuine agency here in Nigeria.. It will be a little bit easier to communicate through and transact.
4. There are many Cheap and good schools in China that i can recommend for you..got admission for 2 guys from this platform last month..now waiting for jw202 to be sent so as to process their visa..

Best of Luck.

Getting a job depends on a lot of factors and cannot be accurately predicted. See if you can connect with some recruiters online and probably get interviews arranged via Skype or something.

I believe your experience from abu-dhabi could also help and extend your search to Scotland e.g Aberdeen if possible because of your current experience.

To your second question, you pay income tax when you start working and you earn above £11,000 per annum
Travel / Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by fopishow(m): 6:51pm On Nov 11, 2018
Thanks for the input, i appreciate. I pretty much have the linkedin update and job portals covered as i started applying already. I am mostly concerned about how fierce the job market is at the moment? I currently work the same role with a top oil servicing firm in abu-dhabi and i would be giving that up(resignation) to see if i could land a job within a month/two,how realistic does that seem? Another question i have is that, as a tier 2 dependent, am i to pay income tax as well?

fatima04:

There are no work restrictions on your type of visa, so you can so just register on as many job site as soon as possible and update your linkedin account to suit your profession and what is expexted of professionals in your field.

In all apply for all jobs you see that fits into your role and follow up with mails and calls seen on job advert.
All the best.

@ house i just got into the pool today as well. Ielts result - L 9 R 8 W 7 S 7. Bachelors degree - WES done - Age 26 - Married - Experience 2.3 Years - Current CRS score is 406.

I am currently taking CIMA exams to so i can get two or more certificate and my score can go higher since i am yet to have full 3 years experience.

Now to the main question - I worked as a

logistics specialist with company *** for 2 years - June 2016 -June 2018. I couldn't really find any NOC that suites this role
Procurement specialist with same company starting June 2018 - present NOC is 1225

Both lines of duty are quite related i.e same arm which is supply chain management.

@ house, appreciate your quick response regarding this.

The question is which NOC code do i use? Is it the NOC for the most recent JOB? Which is NOC 1225
