Train Attack: Body Of Late Dr Chinelo Megafu Brought To Lagos

The body of one of the victims of the terror attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train, Dr Chinelo Megafu, is en route Lagos.

A family member, who shared these photos with us said, “Final journey to Lagos for our daughter, Dr. Chinelo Megafu aboard Arik Air. 07 /04/22.”

Megafu was a Delta Surgeon, who graduated from the University Of Port Harcourt.

Hours before her death, Dr Chinelo had tweeted that she was on the attacked train, had been shot and requested for prayers. She was trolled by some tweeps, who claim she was ‘chasing clout.

Pageant Industry Gets New Leadership As King Fajag Emerges National President

The National elective congress of the Association of Beauty Pageant and Fashion Exhibition Organisers of Nigeria, ABPFEON has come and gone but not without the election of Olufunsho Alexander Ajagbonna, popularly known as King Fajag as its new national president.

King Fajag emerged the president after trouncing his opponent with 175 to consolatory 5 votes.

The election which was monitored by a delegation from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC also accommodated virtual voting which was computed in transparent manner.

This change of guard brings to an end the seven years of Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo's leadership as National President of the body.

The industry of beauty pageant is said to be the one of the biggest and most influential platforms to reform the young people and engage in meaningful means of livelihood.

ABPFEON is said to have over the years produced very influential personalities who climbed through its ladder to showcase their talent to the world.

In his acceptance speech, the newly elected president of ABPFEON, Olufunsho Alexander Ajagbonna, expressed gratitude to the members of the association for their confidence in electing him to pioneer its affairs.

He promised to be a president for all members and ensure that he showcases to Association to the global community as a pillar of tourism in Nigeria and Africa in general.

At the peak of fuel scarcity my wife befriended a filling station manager- a mallam! She got two full tanks of fuel, one for herself, another for her friend; and 20L for me. I innocently and gladly accepted, in a jerrycan. I didn't even pay, to be honest.

Few days later, when we had a little misunderstanding, she bragged to me that the fuel I've been using to cruise around was given to her by a man like me! Dangerous talks.

Since then, even we settled somewhat she's been receiving strange calls at odd hours.
Few nights ago, I was woken up by her shouts on the phone; that she's a married woman and that the person on the other end should stop calling her! I couldn't help but think and believe it's the manager. As though she didn't know she was married before she swindled the man of his fuel!

With all the aphrodisiacs (buran tashi) these mallams use, her (my wife's) nyansh go don suffer.

There's no free lunch even in Freetown.
