Janet101:He is a Nigerian, when you live in a state for 5 years you naturalise so what's the point? Am I missing something? Most of all he is a Nigerian. An Igbo man Murtala Tala Ilo contested for Nassarawa lga elections but lost to Ahmed Ali with a very little margin in Kano state so what's the point? |
Politics / Re: Enugu APC Chiefs Fight Over Ministerial Slot by FOREXMARTS: 6:40pm On May 01, 2015 |
IamOdin:Well it is exactly that cos a minister in no way benefits his constituency, he serves a whole country. So you a minister won't translate to any direct development to ur constituency, that rather is the responsibility if members of NASS so if they are dragging then it's most likely for personal gains. Our political system is not dynamic, when last was it updated, no new ideas of governance implemented or studied. I wonder why political science students go through stress of writing projects to graduate when it will still end up in a drawer or dust bin. |

Education / Re: Is It Illegal To Buy Dead Bodies In Nigeria? by FOREXMARTS: 5:09pm On May 01, 2015 |
iwriterng: Well i don't know of your school but i can tell u that in Bayero University Kano B.U.K the cadaver used in labs are usually un identified and unclaimed bodies from Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital AKTH, Same for Uniport, the get unclaimed bodies from University of Port Harcourt Teaching hospital UPTH. And these are free. I don't think your lecturer knows what he's saying unless he stands to gain something from yall by saying they purchase it, maybe to extort money. |

Politics / Re: Buhari May Soon Wish He Did Not Win 2015 Presidential Polls – Ben Bruce. by FOREXMARTS: 10:26am On May 01, 2015 |
DickDastardly: Exactly, the man was neutral and realistic. Honestly people like these are good advisors, very neutral but realistic point. I couldn't even tell which party he belongs to and still can't tell. Every national issue if we approach it from a realistic and non-partisan stance will be easier and quickly dealt with. That's why even as a registered apc member i don't support the excessive excuse, warning and notifications by Buhari about the possibility of not meeting up with party/political manifestos and promises made during the campaigns, it is counter productive and makes us look like bunch of liars and jokers. Just saying, no disrespect intended to anyone. |
