miketayo: Do you honestly believe there is strength in diversity? One of many reasons Nigeria is divided today is because of tribes, people with different cultures can't stay together unless 1 relinquishes its culture for another one. The founding fathers of the USA were all British before other European nations started joining, so a single culture established the country, imagine if they were from different countries, there wouldn't be America today. They were puritans from different European countries fleeing from church persecution. |

Mexicans were occupying present day America before the expedition of Amerigo Vespucci. So, Mexicans can lay claim to America before the adventures of Indian slaves at Indiana.
So, take note. Did you not read they exterminated the indigenes? I already know all these. |

ChiefOkporghe: Keyword “illegal" immigrants. Was Trump's grandad an ILLEGAL immigrant?
Also, how can I come to your country with no plans of staying in your country and contribute to its development but only to give birth and disappear back to my country with my child who now has your citizenship but does not live in your country, does not understand your (value) systems and does not contribute to your country's development but uses your citizenship to get access to and protection from lots of things?
They enjoy the dignity that comes with your citizenship and also have access to your country and can even commit crime against your country.
Trump's grandad lived in America, contributed to America and he did it legally. USA is saying if you want to be a citizen then you should migrate legally. And when you're a citizen, you can birth a citizen. Simple. I have no objection to the bolded. |

Starzo: Bro forget long talk. Ok I accept America is an immigrant country built by immigrants and as such should open it's borders freely to all migrants so as not to discriminate against migrants
Open the Mexico boarder for just one week let the migrants (the class of people who built the American economy) troop in. In no time, the ones that had been residing in America will start running for their lives to Canada.
The fact they're(America) is a migrant country does not mean they can continue accepting just about anybody and everybody. It had some positives in the past,it won't continue. There's a point it will get to it will start having serious negative impact. It's a common and natural law. The case of allowing even into American is different from the privilege of become a citizen by birth. Please get that right. I am of the opinion that strict immigration measures be taken against illegal immigrants. That I am never against. |

Starzo: I am not an American . I just have my convictions pertaining different issues.
Everything has its threshold. There is a limit to how much pressure you can apply on something before it explodes.
American cannot continue accepting everybody just because 'its a country of immigrants'. If you continue accepting everyone with time the system will collapse. American accepted immigrants easily in the past for certain reasons. Now they've gotten to a point where they can no longer continue giving everybody citizenship.
There used to be American visa lottery for Nigerians but it got stopped when America reached it's quota for Nigeria. The strength of America today is the diversity and immigrants. Is that not why people like Trump and Obama could dream and become Presidents? Are you saying these aforementioned names don't have passion for American despite the fact they are never native Americans? We have to admit it is indeed an immigrant country and that is what made them what they are today. Somebody who is a beneficiary of such law can't wake up and change the whole thing in a day. Besides, I don't know if his executive order override the constitution. We will see about that. |

Starzo: Every land is made up of immigrants. In the early stages of humanity, people migrated to various lands to form clans.
Now because we all came to our present environment through immigration at one point of our existence, does it mean we throw the gates open allow people move in and out without proper vetting?. Does it mean anyone can just claim to be part of us, understanding our culture, values and struggles just cuz they were born on the land? American is exceptionally different in that it's an immigrant country with different nationalities from majorly European countries coming together to form American. It is a heterogeneous country unlike Nigeria that has large homogeneous regions forcefully fused together to form a country. Like I said, if that be the case people like Trump whose grandfather was a German citizen lack the locus standi to stop other immigrants like him from benefiting from birth right law. His grandfather was never part of the struggles of American war of liberation nor civil war but a mere beneficiary of the birth righ law that made Trump father and Trump himself a citizen. Your postulation doesn't stand in his defense. |

America dey try sef, dey allow immigrants who was born on their land to hold public office. Naija no go gree America is a migrant country. They have exterminated the real indigenes, the red Indians. Even Trump is a beneficiary of the American by birth law because his forefathers were immigrants. |

He is not withdrawn like them. You will see him attempting to shot though he misses somethings unlike Sancho and Neto who seldomly hesitates to shoot though the former has great potential to be world class player if he can come out from himself. I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I UNDERSTOOD WHY TRUMP DIDN'T INVITE ANY AFRICAN LEADER AT HIS INauguration.
🚨UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING NOW At a press conference held in Washington, at the White House, Trump made profound statements against African leaders. Donald Trump explains his statements against Africans:
If after 50 years of independence you have not built the necessary infrastructure for your people, are you human? Donald questioned. If you sit on gold, diamonds, oil, uranium, iron, copper, silver, magnesium, crude oil, gas, if your people die of hunger, without health and with nothing to live on, with terrible education, do you feel human? - Donald said. If you stay in power, you buy weapons abroad to kill your own citizens, are you human? If you despise and shoot your own citizens like nothing, who will respect them?
If you become a thief in your own country, stealing all the resources destined for your country, while most of your brothers are miserable, starving and living very poorly, is that being human? Did Trump really say all these? |

Politics › Re: Why There Is Too Much Hate Against Fulani? by forgiveness: 9:09pm On Jan 21, 2025 |
Bandirao: Yes you are probably talking about the excavation in gao in which moorish tombstones with Spanish characters and Arabic inscription in it dated to 10th century, but he didn't appear in written sources war jabi appeared in every written record as the first Muslim King to convert, what is more the people of tekrur where also Muslims before their leader converted they actively helped there sanhaja neighbours to conquer ancient Ghana, Morocco and half of Spain where they are known as almoravids. Oga, that's evidence. Only Fulas believes War Jabi was the first Muslim king but evidence on ground proved King of Gao was the first Muslim in west Africa. |
Politics › Re: Why There Is Too Much Hate Against Fulani? by forgiveness: 7:38pm On Jan 21, 2025 |
Bandirao: I challenged you to name me one yoruba Muslim scholar but you keep quiet it is highly unlikely to be Muslim for more than two centuries and not to produce a well known personality. And honestly you lied the first Muslim King to convert to Islam was : nWest Africa, the first Muslim king to convert to Islam is often considered to be War Jabi, also known as Abu Bakr, who was the King of the Takrur Empire (present-day Senegal) in the 10th century. While the first borno mai to accept Islam is mai hummay jilmi In the eleven century. What is more Fulani are always credited as having the first to start using ajami scripts and spread it to other peoples in West Africa.
And also you aways keep priding that you defeated the Fulani at oshogbo yes that is one battle but decisive when all the yoruba state gang up against one small emirate like Ilorin what you will expect? Historically we never fought a one war even gobir was sacked only in 1809 after the first jihad in 1804, if the Fulani decided to attack yoruba in the second half of the 19th century century the story will be a different one today, because you all dissipated your energy fighting the useless ijaye war.
The British are the only reasoned the sokoto caliphate did not conquered all of Nigeria from Sahara to Atlantic ocean. The first king to convert to Islam is the king of Gao. There is archeological evidence to back it up. The Stelae script discovered stated categorical the kings of Gao Islamic affiliation as at 10th century. Show me evidence of War Jabi as the first time king to convert to Islam. Stop lying. The same Yorubas and other ethnic groups were used by British to conquer Fulanis. Do you know that too? |
