sontoly: I think onuachu for Iheanacho, even if it is to stay on. The bench, think Awaziem just had game time after moving to rizespor, and for Ajayi he seems not to be used in preferred position, so he is a makeshift mildfielder that position is choked that makes him dispensable.
I doubt Iheanacho will be dropped. However, I still want to see Onuachu play again before I form my opinion because I don't rate that Denmark league one bit.
If he doesn't impress, Iheanacho all the way. The devil you know is better than.......
However, Semi Ajayi stands a better chance because Awaziem has not considered him in that CB position lately. Besides, he has Shehu and Aina to contend with in the RB position.
Oasis007: Based on the Stats, he has started 3 Times for Eagles, twice as a RB and once as a LB. The 2 times he started as a RB, Eagles won, while the only time he started as a LB, Eagles lost.
We won that match against Algeria but because we used ineligible player, Algeria was given 3 goals.
zoboizee: I think the complain about Aina is very obvious. He is a good footballer. He just has a concentration issue for 90 minutes. That's why he plays mostly as a LWB in Torino. He always get carried away forgetting his primary defensive duties.
If he has concentration issue in Seria A, he will be benched after few games.
Kog45: It was on this thread i waa hearing how Aina was dribbled, quite unaware, out of position or lack defensive capabilities.
I remember a popular moniker who like to post anytime Aina had below average performance at Hull City on this thread to ridicule him but really surprised not to see such weekly report on Ebuehi,Shehu and Idowu whereas these guys too do have off days.
If Aina can command regular shirt at Torino and we don't have better player doing that presently in Europe then why the bashing.
Hope to see Ebuehi back who I see as the only reliable RB,LB,RWB,LWB who can shake the table not player like makeshift Shehu Abdullahi.
Sir, believe those peeps at your own peril. They don't seem to see anything good in Gbenga and Segun but see Messi and Mbappe in their own players.
Oasis007: Some are kinda amazed coz I include Simon Moses in my presumed lineup. Lest we forget, he's 23yrs old. He was a Monster prior to his Injury and nearly signed for Liverpool.
Oasis007: I understand we cherish Rave of the Moment a lot on this Thread, though some Players are exempted cos they are believed for a Reason known, even being away for long due to Injury would have no case against them.
Simon Moses has outstanding Pace, solid Stamina, defensively good, can use both Feet flawlessly, can cross effortlessly, a good setpiece Taker, a mesmerising Dribbler and his shot power is excellent as well.
..... But he should be dropped from the List?!
Let me see the final list of players Rohr will choose.
chrisooblog: lol forgiveness why are you speaking for both sides of your mouth. The best did not get picked yet Aina was are you saying he is not one of the best?
Shehu, Uzoho, Akpeyi, Ezenwa, Ogu, Iheanacho etc are the best we have. aren't they?
It's very important I personally assess a player before forming an opinion about him. That's why I try to see them play with my two naked eyes because I don't trust some peeps opinions here due to some obvious reasons.
How can one say Aina is not good defensively an yet we see him play LWB, RWB, RB and LB consistently in the championship and Seria A?
What do they think Seria A is all about?
How many goals C Ronaldo manage score this season compared to la Liga?
The same Aina is a starter in Seria A and won 2 MOTM in that same position after he won that in the championship.
Some people can be very mischievous in analyzing Nigerian players just for some personal reasons known to dem.
I understand why Aina doesn't take national team seriously. It's because he knows the best are never picked.
Why should he put his club career in jeopardy for a national team that already has preferred players with automatic shirts?
Victor Moses saw the unambitious team and called it quit.
Eleniyan15: The only problem I have with this setup is Simon and Aina
I would rather play simon close to Aina to help him defensively, Aina is a culprit when defending if you watch As Roma matches he's always caught off guard.
Lastly uncle Rohr won't start Victor ahead of ighalo, Thank You
Icon4s: Uchenna Kanu is not new in the National Team circles. She is an ex-Falconnets player. She may have improved but I don't see her giving better than what likes Ordega, Okobi and Oshoala can give.
This current Falcons team does not inspire confidence at all. The team lacks quality plus the coach plays almost like Aigbogun: Kick and follow football. The team cannot dominate play even against our African rivals. In my head I know we may even struggle to earn 1pt from all 3games in that group. But in my heart I can only wish them well.
Do you mean you can't see any quality player in the Falcon team?

Aigbogun team dominated play against Ukraine and Senegal.
sontoly: Not a bad set up, I will take out Simon and put onyekuru, Simon didn't do anything spectacular this season, infact he will be dropped along with Iheanacho, I can see so many of us still trust him but that's not enough, he did nothing all season. Onuachu should take his place this guy has worked hard to be here and we have to see what he can offer, when I say worked hard, I mean consistent all season.
Awaziem, Ajayi, Simon n Iheanacho are the likely layers to be dropped, except injury says otherwise.
How can Onuachu take the place of a winger? If he has to be dropped it must be for a winger and not for a striker.
If you are insisting on performance then Awaziem and Ajayi should not be dropped.
Them say NFF and coaches are holy but see wetin dey happen. How can we exonerate Rohr who brings players from Norway and bench warmers into the team ahead of players doing well in better leagues?
Probably, assistant coaches and NFF officials collected bribe on his behalf to bring the Nwakalis and co to the national team. *Spit*
It seems this Aigbogun is a British Nigerian and I was wondering how he got to know Nigerian players.
mank1234: Nigeria had better ball possession but were poor in the final third. The word outplayed doesn't capture the true picture. Forget the possession, we were pathetic.
Yes, we were poor in the final third because the striker who was suppose to lead failed woefully.
