What do you have to say about Aina
I think the set up his bad. Let us not consider the rain and overgrown lawn, we need to set up defensively then build up from there.

I expected the wingers to defend when they are without the ball and the DMF cover up for the the wingbacks when they attack.

I know you want to see Ogu out of that list so bad, but let me tell you now, Ogu is going to AFCON.

We cannot afford to throw away midfielders, so, take your spotlight over to the defense, cuz you must not know Rohr very well, if you think he will drop Out.
It has nothing to do with me.

Afcon: Gernot Rohr hints at dropping a striker and a midfielder from Nigeria’s provisional squad

Last updated 3 hours ago

Ahead of Monday’s deadline for final team list, the German gaffer disclosed the areas where he might use to trim his squad to 23 players

Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr said that a forward and a midfielder could be dropped from the 25-man provisional team for his final squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Caf has set Monday, June 10 as the deadline for the 24 participating countries to send their final team list for the tournament which will begin in Egypt later in the month.

After Saturday’s friendly match against Zimbabwe at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, two players will be released before the team departs for the Egyptian city of Ismailia for final preparations.

Rohr stated that he has been impressed by the team’s overall preparation since Monday, when the camp opened in Asaba, which makes gives him difficulty in selecting his final squad.

“You know that everybody wants to come to Egypt and there are still two players to drop, so the competition is open and everybody wants to be in the final 23-man squad,” Rohr was quoted by AOIFootball.

“It will be very difficult for me and my staff to choose the final 23 because everybody is doing so well."

With proven strikers Victor Osimhen, Odion Ighalo and Paul Onuachu in the team, the 65-year-old disclosed that one of them has to go.

“We have a lot of strikers, which is good. Other teams are searching for center-forwards and we have three of them, one of them has to go. I could drop one striker and one midfielder," he added.

Before starting their Afcon campaign in Group B against Burundi, Madagascar and Guinea, the Super Eagles are scheduled to play against Senegal at the Ismailia Stadium on June 16.

What pride. I am dealing with your ignorance. One wishes Nigerian education would have armed you with at least basic economic 101 knowledge .

Kenya's SGR was expected to make losses until 2025. That is nature of such business. That is why Chinese gave us 10 yrs grace period before we start repaying the principal of the loan. We are now mostly making interest payments.

Our SGR cost about 1B kshs per month to ran - 12B shs per annum --- we need to earn at least 12B shs to break even - and we are nearly there.

First year(2017) that you are quoting we were running the passenger train alone - we managed only 2B against 12B - loses 12B.

2nd year(2018) - SGR earned 10Bshs - against 12B - losses 2B.

As you can see we are about to break even...way before 2025.

Infact we will start making operational profit - and the railway will soon start paying itself.

Do you even do such basic economic viability in your rail projects - that transport 400 passengers - or you're just swimming and wasting oil Money.
In conclusion, you are still lossing money. How you wan pay loan?

Strawman arguments. When did I lie. SGR was always in phases. The total cost of MSA-Malaba was around 10B in 2014 when our GDP was around 50B. We began collecting Railway Dev Levy - a little early - which takes care of 15% of SGR development.

Now tell us about Nigeria - and how you plan to get to KANO smiley
The Nairobi- Malaba sgr project started in 2011. Stop lying.

18yrs - SGR began construction in 2014 - and phase 1 (MSA-NBO) - was complete by 2017 June. That is a record for such a huge project.

And it already been voted the most remarkable train ride in Africa.
So, Nairobi - Malaba sgr project was in phases afterall. Next time don't lie.

Nairobi - Naivasha is 95% complete and will be operational before end of the year. I think what is pending is Dry Port in Naivasha - where Uganda and others will pick their cargo.
So, afterer 18 years of Nairobi- Malaba sgr project only one section is completed. Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! grin

rvp20182:
Abuja-Airport - carries 400 passengers. That phase cost 800M dolars in construction. Enough said. Show me a more wasteful investment in the entire planet and that Abuja light train will be up there.

Abuja-Kaduna - has done 1.5M passengers and zero cargo - 3yrs (1,000 days). MSA-NBO has done 3M passenger in 2yrs. What MSA-NBO does in 350 days - Nigeria's Abuja-Kaduna - do in 1,000 years.

Annually Abuja-Kaduna - carries about 0.6M passengers - which daily translate about 2,000 passengers - or 1,000 passenger one-way - assuming it has two trains - one going either direction.

Let not talk about CARGO - the main job of SGR is transport cargo - otherwise it would be wasted investment if you made it a light rail.

I am not sure how your expect to recoup money from rail - doing such kind of insanity. Entire Lagos-Kano was to cost 12B dollars - and but nearly 15yrs later - only Abuja-Kaduna section is complete - as your federal gov struggle with funding issues.

Kenya is miles ahead of your wasteful and incompetent gov..
Out of the entire Nairobi - Malaba sgr project, which section has been completed? None

Manchester City to let academy prospect Tom Dele-Bashiru leave on a free after failing to agree on a new deal

By Jack Gaughan for MailOnline

Tom Dele-Bashiru is free to leave Manchester City after failing to agree a new contract.

The 19-year-old is in the final six months of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and able to talk to foreign clubs over a move.

Serie A side Atalanta are interested in Dele-Bashiru, who has made just one first-team appearance under Pep Guardiola.

Tom Dele-Bashiru is free to leave Manchester City after failing to agree a new contract

That came away at Leicester City in last season's Carabao Cup and the midfielder has played for the Under 21s in this year's Checkatrade Trophy.

City were not able to match the sort of financial package Dele-Bashiru had been hoping for and will depart the club he joined at the age of six.

Guardiola's staff do not see a long-term future for the academy product, while City also had difficulties when offering him a professional contract.

The player's father, Bandele, blasted the club back in 2016. 'Discussions have broken down with Manchester City and I know other clubs are interested in Tom,' he said at the time.

'We always wanted to give Manchester City first option on keeping Tom, but we are now willing to talk to other clubs.

'We opened discussions over his professional contract but we did not accept the offer as we were not happy with the offer and unfortunately then they came back with a lower offer.

'We are not happy with the way Tom has been treated in all this and I think it is disgusting. Tom has shown he is one the best in his age group in the country and if Manchester City do not value him we are happy to go elsewhere.'

Iwobi got into the National team as a Midfielder not even as a winger in the first place, during Arsene wenger's era. He only started playing in the wings under their new coach in this just concluded season.

So what's your point?
Iwobi started as a winger in GWG.

Super Eagles 3-5-2 Formation : Rohr Planning To Deploy Kalu, Simon As Wing-Backs In 2019 AFCON
Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has hinted that Levante's Moses Simon and Bordeaux's Samuel Kalu will be deployed as left and right wing-backs respectively at the Africa Cup of Nations, if he goes with a 3-5-2 formation.

Simon was regularly deployed as a wing-back last season by Levante coach Paco López and Kalu was used as a makeshift right wing-back in the Super Eagles 1-1 draw against South Africa last November.

''We have them (strikers) but we have to drop one of them. Don't forget that we have wingers who can play as fullbacks like we did against South Africa with Kalu who was on the right side, right fullback and a winger the same time,'' Rohr said at Thursday's press conference attended by allnigeriasoccer.com.

''When we play 3-5-2 like we did against Iceland at the World Cup or we did in South Africa, there's also a possibility for Simon Moses to play like he did in his club, on the left side, so we have full backs which is also very good to know tactically.

''And then we have three strikers, Ighalo the goalscorer, we have Osimhen who did well with his club and is one for the future and we have one tall one.

''It is good for me but it is sometimes difficult for me to choose players. But I'm happy to have this good quality, so let's go with offensive spirit to the AFCON because we want to win our games.''

Apart from Kalu and Simon, the other wingers named to Nigeria's provisional roster are Ahmed Musa, Henry Onyekuru, Samuel Chukwueze and the versatile Arsenal star Alex Iwobi.

There you have it guys.
Rohr will definitely drop Iheanacho (Confirmed) and a defender.
From the look of things, it's either Semilore Ajayi/Shehu to be dropped!
Also expect an attacking 3-5-2 formation. With Kalu and Simon on both wings. Omeruo, Ekong/Awaziem, Balogun/Ogu at the back.
A midfield of Mikel, Ndidi and Iwobi will withstand any midfield on the African continent!
How did you know?

Just to point out because the position is tagged AMF, means Hazard was playing the 10 role. This is from one of the games highlighted as Hazard playing the AMF position. From the picture below you can see he was actually not playing the creative midfield role with three other players outside him and Cole in the midfield.

So take the stat with a pinch of salt.
In Chelsea not Belgium national team.
