Last time I checked, they are ripe for the senior national team...

Lateef too is a Nigerian u-15 player.
Oga, these players have been with the team from the U16 to the U21 team. Big difference.

He has been invited to the super eagles camp in the past... I remember super eagles players made a birthday shout out video for him sometimes ago... The boy has been with the national team for long now... his development is similar to Iheanacho who started playing for the national team from u-13 level...Did the NFF abandon Iheanacho half way through? Why should they do the same to Lateef? Can u in all honesty say that Manu Garba isn't fair in his player selection??

If the boy can't handle the disappointment of being dropped and wants to rep other countries, we should please respect his decision... If he turns out to be another Messi in the future, good for him..
And the mediocre continues. Even Germans and Brazilians will never talk like this but the giant of Africa will dare say so. Hehehe!

Rotherham United's Semi Ajayi crowned Championship Player of the Month
I just remembered how the system fizzle out best players from the team even in their prime.

From Sone Aluko to Taye Taiwo, Peter Odewingie, Obafemi Martins, Ike Uche, Imoh etcetera

In fact, Sone Aluko won this same award but was conspicuously fizzled out of the national team in pretence that second division players are not good enough for the national team but behold, some players are making the team from the same second division and even from obscure second divisions. grin grin grin grin

The national team is controlled by some cabals who decides who plays for the national team.

Ehen. That’s exactly what was in my mind moments ago. Only if those days were like Pinnick era.
If Omidiji stood out in the U17 camp at least we will hear the rumors.
We saw what played out during the U-15 tournament. Lateef and Divine were placed on the bench because the coach made us believed, they were not good enough to start games but we saw what eventually happened when they were played.

Can you explain that?

What facts have you presented here apart from rumors?
Was Lafeet and Divine not benched during the U-15 tournament?

What was the reason the coach gave for benching them?

How come a team performing woefully suddenly changed to a winning team after those two boys were introduced?

Cameron did the same with Mbappe but they are living to regret it.

The same Mbappe helped France to win the world cup. The same almost singlehandedly won Monaco the UEFA champions League. The same has outshined and placed Neymar under his shadow. The same is the most valuable player in the world.

We keep repeating the same mistake. Just imagine our national team with Barkley, Ali, Alaba and Akanji. Chaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!

Thank God Iwobi was brought into the team when he was nobody. We would be regretting by now.

He actually ranted at officials when he was dropped from what i am hearing. He complained that Divine Nwachukwu joined the camp later than him and was selected. I think Nwachukwu is a better player.
If you pay your dues....voila ...... that is Nigeria's factor. We can deny it and pretend it's not so.

I just spoke with Lateef Omidiji and he said that he is completely done with Nigeria. He is just going to focus on club football and play with the USA or the Dutch national team at under 20.

He believes he did his best and there is nothing more, he could have done. He said that he can't fix Nigeria.
Na wa oooo. The boy can even play for the Dutch team.

We saw how he was conspicuously benched during the U-15 tournament. What they made us believed then was he wasn't good enough to start but we saw what happened when he came on to play.

How do we know the same was not played out?

The boy don see wetin pass am . Hehehehehehe! grin

Anyway, let us hope he makes the world cup, that's if they qualify.

What message? He wasn't on the team to begin with the coach brought him on. Nobody is saying he can't play but the coach has a right to his decision.
Even Michael Jordan got dropped in secondary school equivalent but that did not stop him from being the greatest of all time. The boy needs to work harder and prove that the coach was wrong. You arguing can never prove that.
Let me clear myself. I am not against his drop from the team but I am against the manner and the way they are trying hard to make us believe he didn't measure up in camp hence the drop. I can't buy that.

They should have simply said, we just gave him the chance to feel the national team hoping he makes the next one. Chikena.

Why bring him in the first place? Dropping Jordan supports the fact that coaches sometimes do make big blunders.

What is recent statement. You went on your usual accusatory rant. Now you have changed to recent.

I can critique but cannot spend my time running down Nigerians. Whether born in Nigeria or not. I genuinely wish them the best. Learn to do that too.
That was a recent comment. What about the previous?

You don't even know how to identify a single talent then how can I learn what you can't teach? Very funny.

Name a player that Manu has missed? If Manu says he is not yet good enough you can take that to the bank.
Under that condition of been dropped from the tour, the boy will receive stimulus that will make him under perform in training.

He can never play with confidence because he has been psychological depressed through that single action. The message was clear from the beginning.

Me Be little English Nigerian born? How?

Stop lying.

I even used Kelechi Nwakali's case of not making it in Iheanacho's set and later becoming the best in the next one to highlight that Lateef being dropped does not mean he lacks the talent to excel.

So how did you come up with such narrative of belittling?
Which lie? Go back pages then you will find you errors. Besides, 'you' in this context is plural hence not referring only to you.

You belittled the English Nigerian born here. That's the bitter truth.

Oga park first. Manu Garba was the one who even gave him a chance in the first place. I don't mind the lad being hurt but you have no reason to make this an issue.
And I said Manu had his boys. Giving him chance was to save face. If not, why didn't he take him on the tour to Turkey?

Congrats to England winning the U17 but it has nothing to do with the discussion. You said Lateef will make it into the American side. I said you are right because he will be joining a weaker side.

If they were as strong as you want us to believe, you would not expect Lateef to walk into the team.

Finito.
It has because that has always been the pattern you belittle those English Nigeria born players to justify why they should not make the Nigerian team. You believed English teams are weaker than our team but most of you were forced to hide your faces.

You are treading the same line.

The current team is made up

12 new players
9 players from WAFU.

Even if you assume that everyone who failed MRI was supposed to make the team. You still have as many as 7 new players. All the players in the pool take the MRI test.
Let us wait and see what the new boys will play.

Which kind senior level? You are jumping ropes to sell your tale.

We are talking U-17 here and I do not think England has achieved more than us in that level. By the way, Lateef is flirting with USA. Not England. I wonder why you are bringing England into it.
England football team has achieved more than Nigeria ever did. That's what I want us to stick in our brain.

However, before England won the U17 and U20 world cup, most of you here berated the team and termed it weaker than our national team but we saw what happened. They even went as far as underrating England in the world cup.

My extract is, you are good at looking down on other teams to make your national team feel good.
