What this proves is that Wenger kept him with the side before he got his debut for Nigeria. He could have been sent on loan. The fact that he played in the Youth Champions league should make no difference.
Who will take an unknown U19 academy player on loan in the championship?

i dont support nwakali but consistency should be there and also the passion that is ighalos problem .ighalo is passionate but not consistent

we need to see his development and also how he fits into rohrs plan to avoid destroying his international carrer
Eze has been consistent enough to get a look tey tey even ahead of Nwakali.

I never thought of it that way.

However he had to have ability and prove his quality which he did with outstanding performances. So at the end of the day his quality pushed him through albeit the SE helped create the OPPORTUNITY.
That is the Koko of my point. Opportunity. You getrit.

So u are telling me that Ndidi.was able to sign for Leicester as a successor to Kante and immediately become a starter on the back of the few caps he earned for Nigeria, one of which came with him playing at right backhuh

Bro?
Without SE cap he will not get more playing time in Genk and his stock will not rise.

Victor Anichebe was an injury prone player...everybody knows that.. How did we now dump him?

And you seriously mentioned Sammy Ameobi, who just like his brother was playing hide and seek with us? grin.. Was he ever even invited? grin

Josh Onomah too. When was he invited?

And how have we dumped Ezehuh? I.dy confuse.o..

Its.only.Aluko I can agree on ...
Na lie. Victor Anichebe was abandoned when he most needed Nigeria. Imagine being abandoned after getting injury during national duty. Very painful thing.

Sammy Ameobi was with John Obuh even before he broke into the Newcastle first team. He was still ignored despite playing for EPL team.

We even dumped Lookman too because he was supposed to be with our U17 team after he passed the trials with highest distinction in London yet the guy waited tire.

No bi for ya eyes we dump Eze so after many years of come and get me please.

Remove Ndidi from.your list....

Ndidi was already a star in the Belgian league before he made his Nigeria debut... He was also among the best players in the Europa league the year before he moved to Leicester...

If Leicester could discover Kante and Mahrez in obscure leagues, how much more Ndidi??
Ndidi was never a star before he was called. I remembered I questioned his invitation ahead of players better than him.

Ever since they succeeded with him, they started inviting players from obscure leagues or those that are yet to prove themselves hoping them fortune go change. grin

Actually if the truth mist be told he was not rated highly he played 1 game for England at U18 level and he was 17 then and three games at U17 level.

All this talk that the English FA were begging him Iwobi to play is simply fantasy.

Iwobi got recognition from playing for the SE at this stage he had not played for Arsenal first team. He was an academy player when he got his first senior cap in the SE.

The influence of his uncle in the situation can not be overlooked.

We have a young Nigerian in the name of Josh Maja who is now at age 19 the highest goal scorer in league one. So when a premiership team then buys him that's when we we will call him. Same thing follows for Ebere Eze.

Outstanding performance should be the bench mark not past youthful glories.

Both these players came to the SE party to train in London. They committed but the NFF officials have shown zero commitment. Commitment is an action in both words and deeds. In this context the NFF have done nothing.
If Iwobi an academy player was called to the national team, what stops NFF from calling outstanding talents like Eze, Aluko, Tega Onomah, Josh Maja, Ovie and Chucks Aneke into the national team?

These players are good in the position where we are having problems. AMF.

I smell a rat.

Akpom and Iwobi aren't the same..
Even without the national team invite, Iwobi still could have progressed further in the arsenal first team.. Don't forget it was his performance in the UCL against barca that brought him into the limelight...
Na lie. It was his performance in the EPL that got him noticed. That was even after he played for SE while an academy player.

I know for a fact he was their U21 captain so wrong on that. He made both debut in Oct 2015 so you are wrong on that one. Wenger had already stopped him from going on loan
I don't know about that but he was in Arsenal U19 academy team when he made his debut for the SE. That was way before he made his debut for Arsenal. He never played one single match in the EPL before he played for SE. Fact.

The snapshots proved he was only playing for Arsenal U19 academy team before he was called to the national team. He was never in Premier league 2. Fact.

Check the dates he played for SE and the date he made his debut for Arsenal.

This, my brother, is the plain truth. I have been wondering where Amosun's sense of equality was in 2011 when he contested and won against two Yewa candidates. The arrangement then was that Ogun is largely divided into Egba/Egbado and Ijebu/Remo.

It is wrong for him to attempt to blackmail or force his self serving Yewa Agenda down the throat of party members. No man should play God .

The much he could have done was to persuade other party members to buy into his idea or throw the contest open while covertly supporting his candidate like Ajimobi did in Oyo.

Well, he should leave Abuja and go back home to restrategise. You win some ,you lose some.
Exactly! It's his self serving agenda else he would have persuaded others with diplomacy or bargained with other contestants rather than using force and dictatorship mentality. Ko gbodo werk.

That is the pure undiluted truth, na. Amosun is finished in Ijebu areas already and Yewa don't take him seriously. That is why he wan cover em failure in Ogun west by compensating them with a candidate.

Come to think of it, why did Amosun contest after Osoba an egba man and OGD an Ijebu man ruled the state? Why didn't he step down for Yewa candidate since he believes in equality? grin

At that time, the slogan was Yewa lo Kan but the cuni man Amosun defied all odds and contested because of his own selfish and personal ambition but now he doesn't want the same for others. Hypocrite like him. grin
