andrew444:You have not answered my question. |
comodo:Just look up. |
andrew444:He is now fit.
|
andrew444:Define average player first? |
kellycute:I don't think Alampasu is the best. |
charlesemeka85:He has already started playing and has scored 3 goals with one assist in 8 matches before he got injured. |
charlesemeka85:He said 'based on what we HAVE.' That is continuous tense hence not true. Injury or not, play or not, Kayode should be considered as a bonafide certified Nigerian player. You said past exploits, right? What did Simmy or most those of players who only played 2 or 3 games this season do before they were called? Nada So, why raise the bar for Kayode? |
charlesemeka85:I disagree Onazi and Omeruo should be replaced neither do I agree James and Fikayo should be given a look. |
soetanoreoluwa:Since joining Sharktar Doneskt, Kayode has already contributed 4 goals (3 goals and 1 assist) in 8 matches before he got injured. It's not about lack of ability not to get game time but due to injury. |
Joebie:Is Simy Nwankwo what we have in Europe? Abeg do your research well. As far as I am concern, Kayode is ahead of him and I don't think Kayode is average based on his goal return 13, 17 and 24 goals every season. A player who was always among the top 3 highest goalscorers in all the leagues he was played as a CF and even became highest goalscorer and overall best league player should not be counted among average players. Since joining Sharktar Doneskt, he has contributed to 4 goals (3 goals and 1 assist) in 8 matches already before injury set in. How can you say he is average? |
Unlimited22:The system is filled with mediocre. The best will be allowed to fizzle out. My sense of judgement tells me even Uzoho is not the best. I will agree when others are given the chance to prove themselves. Imagine Ezemwa in the national team ahead of better goalkeepers. Asi bo kwa! |
dreamwords:Well, you have agreed on the bolded and that's all to confirm my point. Whether it's totally an Igbo world or not, it's left for dem to decide. No need to continue. |
safarigirl:He is known as Dennis Osadebay. Dennis Osadebay - Bio, Facts, Family | Famous Birthdays https://www.google.com.ng/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.famousbirthdays.com/people/dennis-osadebay.html&ved=2ahUKEwjIytrIy7_dAhVBnRoKHbsSADAQFjAMegQICBAB&usg=AOvVaw3dAXEjR8b3NSL884JG_E6y |
cc12:You are right but as at the time he coined that name he was referred to as Edo, Bendel or Midwestern. |
Phew! ![]() |
chrisooblog:You have just said it all. Respect the opinion of others. That's all. |
ChrisKels:I don hear. |
rabzy:Na true talk you talk so. So EOD. |
dreamwords:It is an acronym derived from the four original local government areas that make up Anioma, i.e., (A) for Aniocha, (N) for Ndokwa, (I) for Ika and (O) for Oshimili, M and A being common denominators found in the original four local government areas. The coinage was made by the founding father, Chief Dennis Osadebay, in 1951 and has remained the preferred indigenous name by which the people collectively refer to themselves. Learn please. Chief Dennis Osadebay ( Edo man) coined the name ANIOMA from the original four local government. Their was nothing like Anioma tribe before 1951 neither has Delta state ever being part of Igbo land nor Eastern Region. It was either under the Western region and later Benin but all that is inconsequential if they decide to tilt towards any tribe or region. |
komekn:First of all, a nation is a nation if he call itself a nation. Therefore, if any tribe call themselves whatever in a larger proportion, so they are, though we can have at the back of our mind their true origin for academic purposes only. This brings me to agree with you after many encounters with ikwerre, kwale and ika that they are not Igbo because they wish not to be called so but rather see themselves as Ikwerre nation, kwale nation, Igala nation Edo nation etc. I don't know about Ogoni. That can also be said of Itshekiri who don't see themselves as Yoruba but as Itshekiri nation though their monarch and political leaders have associated and formed a coalition with the Afenifere and other Yoruba whatever. Let me also draw your attention to Anioma people of Delta state. It is not a tribe, it's a composition of different Tribes coming under one umbrella Anioma. Some Benin, some Igbo, some Isoko, some Igala and to your amazement Yoruba made the composition that formed Anioma for political reasons. Yes! Yoruba. This group is called Olukumi people. They are located in the Aniocha North local government and belongs to the Odiani clan which occupies 8 communities in Aniomaland. But have adopted Igbo culture in terms of kingship, names, etcetera except its Olukumi language. Someone like Nduka Ugbade is an Olukumi indigen though he bares Igbo name. However, how they see themselves now matters. |
What people are not understanding is Ambode will make APC lose Lagos if he continues as governor for another 4 years. As it stands, under his leadership, Lagos state is so disorganized and dirty. People suffer to get BRT buses to their destinations on time in the morning and in the evening. You are made to wait for 2- 4 hrs standing unnecessarily. He has abandoned the monorail project for his own projects. In short, he abandoned his predecessors projects for his own projects. If he's not checked APC will lose Lagos. This is what those who are against him know quite well. |
SlayerForever:Is Echiejile from the East? I thought he is from Edo? |
Nigeria's Most Valuable Players: Iwobi More Expensive Than Moses, Ndidi Still The Top Man Published: September 14, 2018 Nigeria's Most Valuable Players: Iwobi More Expensive Than Moses, Ndidi Still The Top Man Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has overtaken Victor Moses as the second most valuable Nigerian player, according to the updated transfer values published by CIES Observatory. The Hale End Academy product is now valued at €38.3, an increase of €4 million in the last three months. Last month, Iwobi penned a new long-term deal that will keep him at the Gunners until the end of the 2021-2022 season. It is thought his value increased after representing Nigeria at the World Cup and his brilliant start to the season after contributing to two goals in his first two matches in the Premier League. Chelsea striker Victor Moses has seen his stock dwindle following his lack of first team opportunities in the new season. In November 2017, the former Nigeria international, who is contracted to Chelsea until June 2021, was valued at €45.1 but is now worth €30.4 million. Leicester City star Wilfred Ndidi remains Nigeria's most valuable player at €62.3 million but was worth €68.3 the month the 2018 World Cup ended. The 21-year-old central midfielder is contracted to the Foxes until June 2024. Ifeanyi Emmanuel https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=29254 |
Chelsea Loanee Ola Aina Undergoes Individual Training Pre-Udinese Published: September 14, 2018 Chelsea Loanee Ola Aina Undergoes Individual Training Pre-Udinese Torino have continued their preparations for Sunday's Serie A clash with William Troost-Ekong's Udinese at Dacia Arena, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. The Maroons' Thursday workout was focused on a technical-tactical training session, and Nigeria international Ola Aina did not participate in full training. The Chelsea loanee underwent an individual session along with fellow defenders Cristian Ansaldi and Lyanco and is doubtful for the trip to Udine. Aina has been unable to train fully after suffering a muscle injury in the 1-0 win vs SPAL just before the international break, an injury that led to his substitution in the 87th minute and made him pull out of the Nigeria squad for their recent games. The versatile right back has featured in all the matches played by Torino in the Italian topflight since joining the club. Torino's training on Friday will be held behind closed doors at Stadio Filadelfia. Igho Kingsley https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=29255 |

Super Eagles GK Rewarded For Skipping Liberia Friendly, Makes Full Competitive Debut For Elche Published: September 13, 2018 Super Eagles GK Rewarded For Skipping Liberia Friendly, Makes Full Competitive Debut For Elche Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has reaped the reward for skipping what turned out to be an inconsequential friendly against Liberia on Tuesday, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. The teenage goalie has been handed his full debut by manager Pacheta for tonight's Copa del Rey clash against Granada at Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero. Signed from Deportivo de La Coruña on a season-long loan, Uzoho was not listed by Elche for their Segunda Division games against Reus Deportiu and Osasuna before he reported for international duty. The Nigerian linked up with Elche at their get-together in San Pedro del Pinatar ahead of today's meeting with Granada. Against Seychelles last weekend, Uzoho did not concede for the fourth game in a Super Eagles shirt. For the remainder of the season, the 19-year-old will play with the number 28 jersey at Elche. Granada trail 1-0 heading into the break after Elche midfielder Jonathan ñíguez gave the home team the lead from the penalty spot in the 41st minute. Victor Moses Not On Good Terms With One Experienced Super Eagles Player Before Announcing Retirement Published: September 13, 2018 Victor Moses Not On Good Terms With One Experienced Super Eagles Player Before Announcing Retirement Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Chelsea winger Victor Moses was not on good terms with an experienced Super Eagles player, Elderson Echiejile, before he called time on his international career last month. The official word from the former England U17 star is that he took the decision to quit the Nigeria National Team so he could spend time with his family and focus on his career with Chelsea, but there is more to it than that. Moses did not have a cordial relationship with Elderson Echiejile simply because a member of his family in Benin City advised him to be wary of the former Monaco defender. The two players were supposed to be good friends as they are both products of BJ Foundation and skippered the Benin City based academy at youth tournaments. Before relocating to London, Moses was the captain of BJ Foundation's U13 team and Echiejile skippered the U16s. Apart from having a frosty relationship with Echiejile, Moses had complained that he was not comfortable fraternizing with some Super Eagles players because they are involved in fetish practices. Moses scored 12 goals in 37 appearances for the Super Eagles and was part of the Nigeria squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. tbaba1234:Look at that offside deception before Uzoho made the last save. Two players placed themselves offside to deceive the opposite players but as soon as the ball was played they ran onside while one ran out of offside to force a save. |
cafcup:That was when Babayako was still in Chelsea but as at now, no space for Ndidi. ![]() You see say dem send Aina go loan, you still think em go play? ![]() |
Humility017:It's our prayer these lads surpass Vicmo but as it stands, we never see. Yes! Burley regular is better than Fabregas the Chelsea bench warmer. Wow! The last time I checked, Vicmo played a game out of 4 matches this season. Abi e don pass 4 matches? See as em dey yan as if dem don play pass 4 matches and Vicmo don miss 50 matches this season.
