safarigirl: what crucial part? Playing teams that we could win if na me sef dey coach?
He also played a crucial part in ensuring we missed out on AFCON.
Oliseh failed, he destroyed the team and till today, we are still suffering for it. We will not allow another mistake of that calibre, be it in Mutiu or whoever Don't worry FIFA will still pay Oliseh Sunday for the crucial part he played to qualify us for the world cup. How many AFCON matches did Oliseh lose? Mutiu was more qualified than Amuneke in regards to coaching experience and qualification yet Amuneke was chosen as the assistant to Garba and later Under 17 and under 20, heaven didn't fall and you all applauded it. Why pin point Mutiu? |

TheSuperNerd: Actually...
You are Wrong. It has nothing to do with Sadiq Umar. I have already told the thread why Roma is doing it. It was all due to a certain @MarkOtabor on Twitter. And this is obviously to gain some Nigerian fans in this period of showing solidarity for the Super Eagles.
So..... In conclusion eh Egbon... I may be wrong but thanks to Roma for the insight. I am watching. |

Joebie: Before the Serbia-Poland friendlies, Rohr made it clear he would be inviting 28 to prosecute the friendlies and later 30 players to make the preliminary World Cup squad. So tell us, when was the 5 names sneaked in to make it 35? TThe same way the 2 names sneaked in might be the same way 5 extra players sneaked in. After all, Rohr made it clear that inviting 28 players initial, why the sudden change? My brother anything can happen because heart of man is deceitfull above all things. Like I said it's 'LIKELY'. |

Roma left all their other players NTs, players that are not on loan, come dey support Nigeria on top Sadiq Umar team, like say he be their Messi. And no be say Sadiq dey go World Cup sef
You this man ehn..... Find out if they also support Brazil and other countries with their players on the provisional list? I may be wrong but I will state my opinion. GBAM |

Anybody that has no coaching experience should not be considered for such a job. The 'failure' Oliseh played a crucial part to qualify us for the world cup. GBAM What an irony! |

Famocious: AS Roma famzing us Sadiq Umar is a Roma player. He's even in for the Athletico Madrid friendly or it's also likely he is among the 35 man list which NFF decided to show us 30 and decided to call the other 5 foreign players to join the team secretly after the friendly match against Athletico Madrid with the excuse that they are just training with the main team. That's all. No wonder 7 foreign players were called to hide their secret dealings, so as not to make it obvious that 5 were actually on the list. This plan might have been explained to their various clubs in order to secure their release because the clubs, in no normal circumstances are oblige to release their players for an inconsequential friendly that will add no value to the players hence the Roma famzing us. If true, NFF and Rohr wouldn't have been able to explain the inclusion of five targeted players if they announced all the 35 man list at once because it's obvious they are not the best we have this season hence the defactor. I know the players are the Nwakali brothers, Alhassan Ibrahim, Musa Mohammed and Sadiq Umar. How could they have realised these players names ahead of the obvious better ones that did well this season? There's nothing hidden under the Sun that will not be made manifest to light. Wisdom of man is foolish. Well, I am watching. Peradventure it plays out then I know agent is at work. |

Joebie: Aluko told CSN:
“The onus is on Nigeria and not the players. Nigeria have to make it attractive for these players to leave the path they’ve known.
‘’After being in the English system, and Nigeria who have never invested in their career invite them, it would be difficult.
“Even me that can be described as a success story, I only have six caps, I haven’t started in a competitive game for Super Eagles but I have scored two goals and people said I have done well.
‘’So it is the responsibility for Nigeria to make it attractive for them which I think is what they are trying to do now in getting these players.” But your name doesn't ring a bell or maybe you don't have a godfather and a good corrupt agent. |

MetalJigsaw: Lokosa “Overjoyed” By Super Eagles Call-Up, In Bulgaria For ‘Medicals’ May 16, 2018 4:27 pm
Nigeria Professional Football League hotshot Junior Lokosa is overwhelmed by his invitation to the Super Eagles for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, chairman of Kani Pillars FC, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida, has revealed.
Babangida told Completesportsnigeria.com that Lokosa who arrived in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital city on Tuesday, was overjoyed when the news of his call-up to national team reached him through his agent
“Lokosa is overjoyed at his invitation and he has expressed gratitude to the coach for including him in the 30-man provisional list for the World Cup. He also promised to try his best to convince the coach that he is good for the World Cup,” Babangida stated . The Kano Pillars boss further disclosed that Lokosa, who has scored 18 goals in the NPFL this season, will undergo medicals with his unnamed new outfit and return to the country by May 20, adding that the striker is not on trial as being reported in the media.
“He (Lokosa) is not on trial but has only gone to do his medicals and if he succeeds, the club will come down to Kano to sign the necessary papers for his transfer. We’ll miss him if he finally goes; he has been fantastic for Pillars this season,” Babangida told CSN.
On the choice of Bulgaria for Lokosa, the former Kano director of sports said: “We had several offers for him from USM Algiers, Al Hilal of Sudan, a Libyan club, a Tunisian side a team from Serbia but the Bulgarian offer was better and he chose that.”
