Mujtahida: What sort of thinking is this? Lure him with a slot for the WC? Is that it? I like a good team full of young talented players but the moment you create slots, automatic slots you have destroyed the team. If you are told that Iheanacho has an automatic slot you'd bristle and whine but here you are advocating automatic slot for Torunarigha. Mind you I want him and Uduokhai but it should not be automatic. Let them come and passionately hustle for a place in the team. Hahahahahah! Na because of that you come dey para? Cool down. Now, let us use our common sense. If Balogun or Ekong get injured during a game at the world cup, who comes in for them and who will sit on the bench? Is it Omeruo or Awaziem? The point is that Rohr is still searching for a CB despite the fact that he knows Awaziem and Omeruo. And he's doing everything possible to get one of those Germans. Are they Uduokhai and Torunarigha better options? Now, let now talk about luring. Why is Rohr after these boys? What is he using to entice them? Just come and train with us boys? Well. Think am well. |

The fact of the matter is dominic and abraham are lagging behind now
I don't care what its means for dominic to be on the liverpool bench after all he was on the chelsea match as well The first snapshot is the stats of Kelechi Iheanacho. 6 goals with 3 assists The second is the snapshot of Tammy Abraham's stats. 7 goals with 5 assists. Now, who is ahead of who? I am not here to destroy any player but to present facts on ground.

I want to state explicitly that I'm all for form and not experience. I'm not Rohr apparently but on Echiejile's invitation, I reckon the friendlies will serve as the last chance for him to stake a claim. If he flops, then he should kiss Russia goodbye. It sounds absurd taking to the world cup a player plying his thread in a belgium second divison and still finding it hard to make the team on matchdays and leaving out top talents in other top divisions. It's corruption and not destabilizing team cohesion as some would say. I concur with your assertion. |

TheSuperNerd: Hertha BSC, Germany Coaches Tell Torunarigha : You Have A Future With Germany Not Nigeria
https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/98982Jordan.jpg
The German Football Association are prepared to do battle with their Nigerian counterparts over the services of highly-rated Hertha Berlin central defender Jordan Torunarigha.
Germany U21s manager Stefan Kuntz and Hertha Berlin coach Pal Dardai hope he refuses the offer from the Nigerian Federation to represent the Super Eagles at the 2018 World Cup, and added that he has a future with Germany's senior national team.
''Jordan is a top player, who absolutely convinced me. He has a great left foot and his development is far from over. I did not nominate him for nothing again,'' said Kuntz, who invited Torunarigha for the upcoming games against Israel and Kosovo, to German newspaper B.Z .
Pal Dardai is on the same page as Kuntz, and said : ''The World Cup is certainly a great opportunity for him.
''But maybe it is better for the development, if he goes through the U21 at the DFB. Maybe then it works with the German national team.''
Jordan's father Ojokojo Torunarigha played twelve matches for Nigeria's national team.

Where are abraham and dominic form wise right now? You mean Leicester wasn't relegation threatened as at the time I made that post? Whether picked up or not, is/was Iheanacho bench warmer or not? Answer....Yes or No. As at the time of that post, Tammy Abraham and Dominic Solanke were in a better position. Currently, is Iheanacho's form better than Abraham? Solanke is still making the bench for Liverpool. I think you know what that means? |

Daejoyoung: . Where in heaven's name are you leading us? Make your point precisely, would ya! The arguement was that English players who play or has played for the English national team hardly excel outside England. You named a Scottish and Welsh player( who both play in separate national football teams) , you have been corrected already, but all you do is ask questions leading us nowhere in particular. Just hit the nail on the fvcking head. Based on the bolded, you don't have the locus standi in this argument because your assertions are far apart from the substance itself. Where did he write 'English players who has played for the national team' as seen below? realpoacher: EPL fan boys how far?
What do you have to say about Football.....extremely good football existing outside England?
What do you have to say about kick & follow, brute, rush rush, power, and 'anywhere belle face' football?
What do you have to say about Spanish teams dominating and winning the UCL 8 times in 18 years since 2000s?
What do you have to say about having an all spanish finals 4 times out of those years?
what do you have to say concerning spanish teams dominating the Europa leagues all those years too?
Or would you say that the second top half of the EPL cant stand toe -to- toe with their spanish counterpath?
when we tell you that football doesnt start and end in England , you lots wont hear...SMH
When we tell you to remove your tongues from the English ass, you lots wont hear
Ever wondered why no English descent or bred players never survived in other leagues?
the answer is simple....The English dont know how to play football....Their football orientation is wack therefore it cannot survived outside England.
Take Raheem Sterling to Spain, Germany, Italy and watch him flop
take Harry Kane to Spain, Germany, Italy, France and Portugal and watch him become a shadow of himself....this is not me being bais, rather the results are there for all to see...from Beckam, to others in the time past,....no English player ever succeeded outside England....FACT!!! Outsiders succed in England but not English players succeeding in other countries. Yet some English fan boys wants me to take football in England serious..... tufiaka....that aint happenning
For so long, Lampard was lured out to other leagues, He refused to go..., ofcourse he couldnt because he then what awaited him
i have said it before and i will keep saying it.......the only reason why top English teams beat top teams from the backwater leagues is POWER & PACE!
With power & pace they bulldozed their way through those poor teams from the 'backwater leagues' while feeling 'funky' like they have arrived... But when they meet their mates, the top teams of the other 5 top tier leagues then they crumble like a pack of cards.
Do you know why they crumble?
They crumble because they met their match in Power & Pace but they fall short of TECHNICALITY, INTELLIGENCE, FOOTBALL SENSE
Yes!....English football lacks technicality, inteligence and football sense. They have no football sense whatsoever, thats why they play kick and follow football, thats why they play 'anywhere belle face' football.
Presently only Pep is playing football in England and the difference is clear. They say la liga is a two horse race yet they cant even beat the others left behind by Madrid & Barca. ...Doesnt tell you that if all English teams were in the Laliga, they will all be playing catch up too?
They say Bayern munich cannot win premeirship with 5 matches to spare,...the same Pep who was in charge of Bayern then is in charge of Man city today, see how all other premiership teams are gasping at straws.
They say la liga is boring but the EPL is the most competetive, the most exciting interesting, bla bla bla.... and i ask, why wont it seem interesting when 19 average teams slugging it out in mediocrity week in week out with the ever reliable English press acting as an event ORATOR praising them to high heavens, decieving them, keeping them perpetually disillusioned.
I repaet, English football in its original terms is CRAP!
The EPL is what it is today because of the Foreigners in it,... Take the Foreigners out of it and it will become like ukrainian league or the Turkish league at best Did those arguing blindly read the post with assimilation? What is the meaning of the bolded? What is the bone of contention? No 1. 'English descent' No 2. 'of English bred players' Now, tell me, where did Gareth Bale falls into? The bone of contention is anything that is in connection with the English either by proximity or whatsoever. I have already said that they are same based on the content/context realpoacher wrote but I too know people dey run to dey correct. I repeat, those who are too forward in this regard are ignoramous. GBAM! Now, please, answer those questions. |

KELECHI NWAKALI(his class on the ball and vision is the closest Iv seen to okochas! Confident, and he's a beauty to watch, certainly going to be a world class someday
HENRY ONYEKURU(his dribblings are already mesmerizing enough plus his deadly finishing, he's too special)

Wilfred Ndidi is the overall Oga for now. Etebor and Onyekuru are not in his level for now. I which he goes to Liverpool or Arsenal. MetalJigsaw: Samuel Kalu is one guy I think deserves a chance in the SE more than any other player that is yet to be invited by coach Rohr. I never really watched that guy play until recently, and I could behold a deadly winger with enormous confidence, Skill, pace, trickery, goal threat and unpredictability.
In him, I saw another victor Moses in red-hot form. I dare not argue with people who state his superiority/quality over Simon.
Simon is Also a good winger but Kalu seems to be more deadlier with the advantage of goals threat and his current blazing form which is not on Simon's side currently.
This (Kalu ) is one player I've kept praying in my mind for Rohr to notice him ( if he's yet to) and invite him. There are still some players ahead of him. |

TheSuperNerd: Uhmmmm... Sir Mujtahida. Please this has nothing to do with your discussion with Forgiveness oooo... I just wanna point out a little something on the bolded....
In London 2012, Team Great Britain (other wise called UK) presented a football team that had welsh and English footballers mainly dominating the team. But that Team GB represented all four home nations of UK (Wales, England, Northern Ireland and Scotland). Now this was a one-off and it is even unlikely that we may see Team GB play Olympic qualifiers because in international football circles outside the Olympics, England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland all have their individual national teams and will find it very difficult reaching a compromise sef.
Also at the Olympics, we see more of Great Britain in other sports but never England, Scotland, Northern Ireland or Wales. Citizens of all four UK home nations (and the three crown depedencies- going deeper) compete under the GB flag (UK flag) in the Olympics. But at the Commonwealth games, Wales compete under its own flag. Same with England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Just wanted to clear that. So uhmmm.. Nothing more to be said on my part. Just a little something I needed to point out. Bravo. Thanks man. But I know what I am heading to. |

A Welsh is different from an English man. They speak different languages. A Scot is different from an Englishman. They speak different languages. They are different nationalities. TheGoodJoe: England has tagged behind due to their illusion of believing that huff, puff, Kick and follow football was their identity. However, with the step up in promoting good technical football in the EPL, with the likes of Guardiola, Klopp, Conte and others, the English team will get better. The challenge they have in sticking to managers that play the old English brand of football while lots of their top players play under possessive managers. Their academies are also promoting good football and with time, England will produce better quality players. Tagged behind in what area? |
