Onomah Josh ~ 8 had his best match against the Korean team 3.) Fikayo Tomori ~ 7.5 4.) Seyi Ojo ~ 7 5.) Ovie Ejare ~ 6.5 too much sideway passes 6.) Dominic Solanke ~ 5.5 just average... Nothing special

However, based on my previous examination on them, this is how I rate them. Lookman Solanke Onomah Sheyi I have not really seen Ovie and Fikayo but until den that is my rating. Those boys can displace most of the players in the Super Eagles with ease. |

TheSuperNerd: @first bolded... last tournament meaning 2013 right... ofcos I know that... I was only stating where I started following Ajagun's Progress... From the U-17s and his days at Dolphins of PHC.
@second bolded.... didn't you read where I said it is uncommon for an African player playing in the no.10 role in the top 7-10 leagues...? Wasn't that meant to be a huge compliment for Ajagun..... ? And nope... Eredivisie is not a top 5 league in Europe. Get those facts right... that is why I said top 7-10.
@Third bolded..... Etebo has shown his versatility since his days with the U-23s and since his days at Warri Wolves... Etebo's excellent versatility is what gave him the chance to be invited in the first place. Let Ajagun show same and see if he will be ignored for long...
@fourth bolded..... I don't quite understand what you mean here... best no.10 in Europe? or Nigeria's best no.10 in Europe based on who is actually playing regularly in the no.10 role?
Is Ajagun better than Mikel, Iwobi and even Iheanacho in the no.10 role?
Is he more versatile than Etebo? they both can play no.10... Etebo can also play RMF/RWF, LMF/LWF, CMF, DMF, CF, SS, and his energy levels suggest he can execute the full back roles for us if taken there too.... Etebo is a super Beast.... is that who you compare Ajagun to in terms of Versatility?
Can Ajagun play DMF with distinction? Can he play CF? Can he even trump Etebo in the SS role? Na wa....
@Fifth bolded.... Good! About time.... That is why you need to know his performance did not stop at 2013. He went on to play for Panathiako from 2014- 2016 consistently, won the Greek cup, his club placed second behind the club that destroyed bigger clubs in the Champions League, and most importantly, one of the key players in the team yet dem say make em dey work while baboon dey chop. Dey just ignore hard working player for players wey no prove anything before they were called. Because I already knew where you were driving at, so I asked, Can you please mention one Nigerian player in the top 5 leagues in the world playing constantly(I am regularly) in the no 10 role with facts? Do you mean Ajagun who singlehandedly helped Dolphin fc to win the league, who was among U20 Caf XI team of the tournament (despite not winning), won MOTM severally in all the clubs he played until now, won team of the week many times in all those leagues including this season etc, showing is versatility in all those competitions, has not done enough to be noticed? Shuuuu! This season alone, Ajagun has played in more than 4 roles for his club in Europe, majority as an ATM but that can't be said of Etebor who has only played 3 roles for his club this season, majorly as a LW. Remember, Ajagun has played in the no 10 role consistently for his clubs both in Nigeria and abroad. Why is Etebor not considered or entrusted to play ATM constantly for his club if they rated him highly as a no10? Because this is Europe were there is a level playing field, no sentiment attacked to selection of players. This is enough to prove Ajagun better pass Etebor in that role when tested both locally and internationally. Statistics are there to see. I do not regard his performance at the National team because many players didn't get there on merit in the first place. Therefore, the National team can't be set for the benchmark for rating players. That's why I said give those who are doing well the chance to prove themselves then from there we can do the ratings. But for now, Abdul Ajagun is better than Etebor in that role. Yes! Abdul Ajagun is the best Nigerian no 10 in Europe because he is virtually the only Nigerian playing in that role regularly and constantly. Commot Mikel Obi the baba for there abeg. I don't think Iheanacho is better than Ajagun in that no 10 role because if Iheanacho is better he wouldn't have been converted to a Striker in Manchester City. Iheanacho is a s/s to me. Until I see him play no 10 regularly for his club, I will say Abdul Ajagun better pass him in that role. You can't lay claims to all those roles you ascribed to Etebo just to prove a point,or do you have facts to back it up? Because these two seasons in Europe, Etebor has only been deployed on only 3 positions. He has never played beyond Rw, Lw and ATM. Am I wrong? But I can prove with facts that Abdul Ajagun has been played in more than 5 roles, to be precise 6, for his club in Europe e.g RF, LF, RM(same role with Victor Moses), Lw, ATM and CMF. In a level playing field environment, and not the magomago ways in the National team. From these poinst of view, I can authoritatively and confidently say Abdul Ajagun is more versatile and a better player than Etebor. The records are there to see. We shouldn't assume back them up with proven facts. Give the chance in the National team before you make conclusions that Ajagun can't play all those roles equally or even more better than Etebor because Etebor has never been played in those roles in Europe. Chikena! The first two snapshots show Abdul Ajagun's roles in his clubs. The last snapshot shows Etebor Oghenekaro's roles in his club. Judge, who is more versatile?

TayserMahiri: About Somalis dominating Kenya thats just outright nonsense. No one can take you seriously on that. So now tell me exactly the population of white and Indian people in Kenya. They must be so many as to inhabit all the nice places in kenya. Why are you so bitter with kenya? If only you were that bitter with nigerian politicians and monopolists. The highlighted part is just one elongated lie. You dont beat us in sports, unless you think football is the only sport. Do you even have a rugby team? The sports we excel at in kenya we go global, not just African. We even dominate the globe in some sports. The high standard of living is another lie. We cannot argue over that sht when the HDI can tell it all. Entertainment? I shared photos of nightlife in kenya and nigerians couldn't dare to counter. You may have the artists but we have the entertainment and we do it with style. Don't try me on this one, I am a party animal ! And your housing estates are a joke. Very poorly planned and poorly finished. The only person who can tell that is somebody like fanficgirl who lives where housing is top class. We beat you on housing hands down. You do not beat us in any of those things yo listed, you just wish it. Maybe you have wide roads but our transport sector makes yours look like a bad example. Not even a national carrier airline? Nigeria is a very wide joke, with very many jokers in it. In entertainment, just to Nigeria and see for your self. I just chuckled at the pictures you post became i don't think you understand what entertainment is and whom you are up against. When i saw youy housing estate i knew you don't have much to compete with. In sports, we have proved to be better. |

TheSuperNerd: AbdulJaleel Ajagun is a very good player. I have followed him since his days at Dolphins (now Merged with Sharks to form Rivers Utd) and his U-17 days. A really good no.10. And yes it is uncommon to have an African player featuring as a no.10 in one of Europe's top 7-10 leagues.... (Iwobi have also featured a few times as Arsenal's no.10 before they switched to their Current 3-4-3).......
With That Ajagun's talents must be commended but ehmmmmm.... saying outrightly that he is better than Etebo is a faux pas. Etebo is a super versatile Player... far more super versatile than Ajagun. Etebo plays each role he is given to almost classic perfection and with remarkable Distinction... add to the fact that he is a super goalscorer too and assists-maker when played up-top....
Egbon Forgiveness... how you go understand the library thing eh? In fact, if you are interested, I will tell Yara Yara to send a driver to come get you and bring you to my main labs complex.... I am not in the library section of the thread's house today...
I like Ajagun... I like the Obuh boys... but you see.... I wouldn't wanna put him in a class of his own over Etebo.... you and I know Etebo is something else.
Ajagun is a wonderful talent. A very good player but abeg.... not better than Etebo or some players reeled out already in the AMF role of the Super Eagles.
Ajagun's versatility is also noted but Etebo trumps him in all-round versatility. #Fact.
Like I said... I no wan go deeply extensive into this matter.... Just understand that somehow out of the blues... Ajagun can be invited... he may yet get his chance... so don't give up or rule it out just yet... His time can still come. . Ajagun didn't only play for the U17, he also played the U20 WC twice and he was the captain in the last tournament. We saw what he did. Can you please mention one Nigerian player in the top 5 leagues in the world playing constantly(I am regularly) in the no 10 role with facts? Because the last time I checked, there is none. How can you say Etebo is more versatile than Ajagun when Ajagun has never been given the chance to prove himself? If Etebor is more versatile than Ajagun, how come his limited him to only 2-3 roles while has played in 4 roles this season? I think I need something better than statement to convince me. As far as his doesn't deem it to play in that ATM, I think he is the best no 10 in Europe. Same applies to others. Now, I get the library |

Ajagun good enough for where? Look at the list of Nigerian players who can play the number 10 position you wish Ajagun is good enough to play:
Mikel Etebo Iwobi Aluko Even Iheanacho.
Now in addition all the five players mentioned above can play at least 2 or 3 more positions. Which one of them is Ajagun better than?
And please you have been singing this exact song for years now. Can't you contribute to the growth of Nigerian football without the inclusion of your players? First of all, we never knew Etebor and Iwobi could play dat position until they were given the chance to prove themselves despite the fact that they were nobodies before they played for the national team. Ironically, Abdul Ajagun who was already an established player with Panathinaikos, and was very much influential to them lifting the Greek version of FA cup, helped them to place 2nd twice in the league, and played in both the Europa and Champions league qualifiers was mischievously, deliberately and unjustly overlooked for an academy player and a NFL player. Now, you are asking who is better. I will say give him also the chance to prove himself but until them, i go dey talk. However, Abdul is better than Eteboh. He is better than Iheancho, Iwobi, Aluko and Etebor when it comes to playing more than 5 roles effectively. Abdul can do better. Next. |
