Gogetta:
Sheilla is the hottest of the girls #myopinion
Without a doubt! Even though I am in love with a few others namely Goitse, Sipe (I call her shepe for those who understand what that means). Maguy, it's not a small sometin o. I see those chics in my dream whenever I sleep. I think they are all mammy water!

Sorry you are free to disagree. Hottest for me means overall package; Face and body.
I could rework the top 5 tho by putting Sheillah in second spot and moving everyone down by one.
But as I saw them, that's how I rated them.

Or should I change it to "Prettiest" or "Cutest" housemates?
Prettiest or cutest is more apt. But definatelly not hot. Sheillla is miles ahead as the hottest chic in the house. I just imagine myself as a housemmate. Bobz, I will just keep cummminng on a per minute basis. That assss, those thighs, those hips... DDAYYUUUUMMMM

TIME FOR THE ANNUAL "THE HOTTEST" LIST.

Hottest Ladies (in descending order):[/size]

1) Samantha
2) Lillian
3) Mira
4) Sheillah
5) Goitse
6) Esther
7) M'am
8 ) Ellah
9) Sabina
10) Sipe
11) Butterfly
12) Lavida
13) Resa

As the house is way too crowded to fully see anybody, I will return for the males shortly.....
I think yoou should stick to comppiling this hottest list for guys only and let guys comppile the list for the ladies. Coss wwhen u describe sommeone as hot, what comes to mind is sex. Straight up. So naturally speaking such lists shud be coompiled by the oppposite sex.

And now to your 'list' or its semblance you put up there. Samantha and Lillian come bbefore Sheillaa? And Sammantha is the hoottest chic in the hoousehuh?? Youve got to be kidding me...

As the countdown to thecommencement of the biggest tv show in Africa enters its home run and with so much being said about the contestants all i can say is fingers crossed...

As always, i will judge contestants based on the following indices:

1.TALENT: I will be looking out for this in all possible forms. Singing, dancing, acting, etc

2. WIT: I need my prospective favourite contestant to be intelligent. I need my favourite contestant to demonstrate deep insight whenever issues are being analysed. I cant stand dolos. Sharon O. of BB the Amplified easily comes to mind here. Despite her beauty, i couldnt stand her. she was about the biggest olodo ive ever seen on tv.

3. SENSEOF HUMOUR: I will naturally be disposed to a funny contestant.

4. SWAG & SOPHISTICATION (S & S): Enlightenment, exposure to worldly issues, dress sense, demeanor etc will be critical here

5. INFLUENCE: How easily any contestant can influence other housemates' views and opinions or how easily contestants are drawn towards you will be a plus. Ola of BB stargame and Itai of BB the Revolution easily come to mind.

6. GOOD LOOKS.

My favourite contestant must check against any three indices at the minimum.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I CARE LESS ABOUT ANY CONTESTANT'S NATIONALITY. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, THEY ARE ALL EGYPTIANS OR TUNISIANS. I WILL JUDGE THEM ALL STRICTLY ON THE STUFF THEY BRING TO THE TABLE.

Folks,let the show begin ...

Lights, Cameras, Action!

14: 1986, Pay-television came to South Africa when an analogue, single-channel service, M-Net, was launched by Naspers. For almost seven years, all M-Net's operations were handled by a single company.
1993, Naspers created a subsidiary company, Multichoice, which was to handle the business arm of M-Net, such as decoder sales, subscriber services and account management.[citation needed]
1995, Multichoice announced that it was launching a new digital, satellite service in South Africa and, on 6 October 1995, DStv was officially activated to subscribers. The original video channel bouquet consisted of 17 channels: M-Net, MGM Channel, TCM, TNT Sci-Fi Universal, SuperSport, ESPN, SelecTV, Travel Channel, KTV, Cartoon Network, BBC World News, CNN International, Sky News, Trinity Broadcasting Network, MTV, VH1 and TV5Monde.
2000, Launch of W4 Eutelsat satellite with Ku-band services to sub-Saharan Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
2001, Launch of Indian and Portuguese bouquet.
2002, Launch of Interactive Television.
2003, Dual View decoder launched.
2005, The DStv PVR decoder and DStv Compact is launched. DStv Premium subscribers South Africa cross the 1 million mark.
2006, MultiChoice launches BBBEE Share Scheme, Phuthuma Nathi. Channel Shuffle on 1 October, moving channels around to 3-digit numbers and for them to be in their right genre groups.
2007, Launch of DStv Select and of entry bouquet DStv EasyView.
2008, Launch of DStv's first High Definition decoder the HD PVR, XtraView and the first HD channel, M-Net HD.
2009, HD channels - SuperSport 1 HD, Discovery HD Showcase are launched.
2010, DVB over IP (Digital Video Broadcast over Internet Protocol) and DStv on Demand service launched, as well as the HD PVR 2P and M-Net Movies 1 HD.
2011, DStv BoxOffice & DStv Mobile launched.
2011, GOtv, a new digital pay television offering on digital terrestrial television platforms is established in a number of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
2012, DStv launched a new satellite in August "Intelsat 20", shuffling the channel numbers and offering subscribers 8 new HD channels from 1 October:
M-Net Movies Premier
M-Net Movies Comedy
M-Net Movies Family
M-Net Movies Action +
M-Net Movies Romance
M-Net Movies Showcase
M-Net Series Showcase (is a dedicated Series Channel first Fresh HD Series )
Studio Universal HD
2 new AfricaMagic channels[clarification needed - Which ones?]
2013, Multichoice adds FoxHD to (DStv Premium Premium package only) and kykNET & Kie (DStv Family, Compact, and Premium packages). It also launched a new DStv Family bouquet[1]
2013, DStv subscribers across Africa reach 6.7 million, with 4.5 million within South Africa.[2]
2013, Multichoice launches its next-generation PVR decoder, the DStv Explora to Revolutionise TV in SA[3]
2014, The new Channel Lifetime launch on Channel 131

I hate to argue
Argueing isnt my favourite pasttime neither.

Fine, I give it to you, SA has a larger subscriber base than naija but I only asked if subscriber base is the yardstick for choosing countries and number of reps why did naija have 3 slots against South Africa's 2 in BB the Revolution?

Next, you said naija has about 800k subscribers. I laugh. Cos Lagos, PH and maybe abuja will give you that figure. Talk more of the whole of naija. I just said instinctively and went on the internet after seeing this post of your now. So here's my proof: http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/09/nigerians-knock-dstv-services-bemoan-exploitation/

I hate to argue

Chrisbenogor: Wait are we still talking of Melvin grin grin grin
They signed up to entertain Africa......they get all most of what comes their way.

Some Salient Truths...
1. Olympics, World cup etc errr I will be patriotic and hope naija wins. I can then boast and say hey we won the world cup in 2010! Can I do that with BBA? I could care less who wins, admittedly a Nigerian in the house playing the game the way it ought to be played #karen would get plenty plenty raves right here. However any lipgloss rubbing, smiling george, dulling housemate would get lashed more so if he is Nigerian grin grin grin

The sole purpose for me is to have absolute fun............

In the heat of the moment which will come, lets just agree to disagree

TV/Movies › Re: Big Brother Africa 'hotshots' Official Thread by forkadict(m): 11:45am On Sep 30, 2014
14: The participation is based on a country DStv subscription, for example, if Ivory coast has 50 000 subscription and mozambique has 60 000 subscription, they will go with Mozambique. Remember in many countries in Africa, DStv is still a privilege, subscription is still low. A country like Kenya had 100 000 Subscription in 2013, i was shocked. Even mighty Nigeria had 800 000 DStv subscription in 2013, it could be more than a Million this year. It was only SA that had 4 million DStv subscribers in 2013, more than the whole African subscribers combined. So DStv is desperatly trying to increase its subscription in the rest of Africa, hence the BBA show.

But there will be a time where more countries will participate, and you must remember that DStv is not that famous in the Francophone countries, those markets are dominated by France pay TV. And your question about 8 countries reps from SADC, Southern african countries have had DStv for years and years, so subscription is quiet high. Countries like Botswana and Namibia with only 2 million each population, their subscription could be more than 100 000 each.
Well, you may be right but I beg to differ on the following grounds.
1. In the whole of naijahuh Just 800k subscribershuh You fit get all those ones for Lagos alone sef. talk more of the whole of naija.
2. I doubt SA has a larger base cos in BB the Revolution, naija had 3 slots. SA had 2. This clearly is inconsistent with the logic you proffered above.

safarigirl: bobo mi, how body? These housemates this year, e get as dem be. Apart from Lillian, Butterphly, Mr 265, Samantha, Macky2 and Tayo, none of the others look particularly interesting, but I should get a clearer view after week 1. Vote's on Terzagah from Moz to leave first grin
Here goes @Safarigirl again. The NAIRALAND RESIDENT BB THREAD CHIEF ANALYST.

As for anyone being interesting or otherwise, I think it's too early to tell. But I'm not cool with Big Bro's warped idea of bringing in the fake housemates from last season as real housemates this season. that already confers on them an edge regarding their performance this season. If i were any of the fake housemates of last season, the moment we left the house, i would start an intensive and extensive research into my conduct in the house. Play and replay footages, analysing what i did right and what i did wrong, take a large sample of viewers opinions on what they liked and what they would have loved to see in me etc etc.

Then armed with that ammo, i will go into the house this year. Now tell me, what chance has a JJC got against mehuh
