Did you apply in the middle of a program? I want to leave a masters program in Germany to a better one in the US and I've scheduled my interview here in Germany but I don't know if that was a wise decision.

. No. I had residence permits for Austria and Hungary because of my school. There was never a question about that. However, the guy that had the interview before me traveled from another country (likely a European country) to Budapest for his interview. That was the bone of contention. The lady kept asking why he traveled to another country for the interview.

Good Day Guys. I am in a unique situation and need help. I just got admitted to a Masters program (with funding) in the US but the problem is that I recently resumed In Germany for another masters program but I want to leave it for the US offer.

I want to know how to go about the visa process. Is it possible to do the visa interview here or must it be in Nigeria? And what is the possibility of visa approval given the fact that I am currently enrolled in another program?

Your school dont have a portal you can simply download from?
Or tell them to send it via email or provide a Germany residence address in c/o, I am not sure they will mail it Nigeria.
You need a proof to of enrolment to validate your current admission, anyways the embassy will definitely confirm your studentship.

I mailed my school and I’ve gotten enrollment confirmation. My main headache now is the blocking confirmation.

Good morning guys. I have a visa appointment next week and I have a few questions.

First, I haven’t been issued a funding confirmation for my blocked account but the money has been transferred and I have proof of payment. Will that suffice? (The person that helped me pay delayed the payment)

Secondly, I was given an admission letter for Winter semester 2022. Is the admission letter considered up-to-date? (I have requested for an enrollment certificate from my school and they have mailed it but I haven’t received it)

Pls how do I use this to pay semester fee? Must I go to the bank physically or can I pay online?

Category A is your route then. You should have no worries. If you can't defer your admission, you can apply again for the next semester.

I can’t defer. It’s a restricted admission course. However, I was told to enroll then resume next semester or whenever I can.

1. Depending on different factors, it could take a few days to 1 week.
2. You can simply apply for any insurance you like online via their website. The most popular options are TK, AOK and Barmer(public health insurance providers). If you're over 30, then you should be privately insured.
3. If you graduated with a first class, then you qualifiy for category A.

First, how long does it take to send physical documents to Germany. Second, how do I get student insurance for enrollment from Nigeria. And third, I graduated in January 2020. That qualifies me for category A right?

If you haven't applied for a German visa, please note that it takes up to a year to get visa appointment if you are a category B applicant and it takes few weeks if you are a category A applicant. With this in mind, if you are a category A applicant, you have no problem, just enroll and apply for your visa, you'll definitely get in time for the next semester at most. But if you are a category B applicant and your school can't defer your admission to next session, the probability of your visa being ready by next semester is slim.

(You can risk it, enroll, start online classes for this semester and hope to get visa before next semester starts. The choice is yours)

I should be in category A because I graduated in January 2020. I’m going to enroll and work towards next semester. Is it possible that I ask for the enrollment deadline to be extended?
